Sneaky fox

20 days later, the exams finally came to an end.

Yan Shu and Song Yun sighed in relief as they left the university.

All around them, students celebrated. Some threw away their hall tickets and made plans for the holidays, while others simply lazed around.

Results would be released at the start of the second semester, so they didn't need to worry about it for now.

They soon arrived back home."We should go out and celebrate," Song Yun suggested.

Yan Shu agreed. "Where do you want to go?"

"That will be a surprise, Yanyan," she winked.

"Fine, but you better not disappoint me. I'm talking about movies, dinner, and shopping. The whole nine yards."

"Sure. I already ordered some takeout and it will arrive in half an hour. We'll go out after that. Now go freshen up," she spoke while pushing Yan Shu into the bathroom.

Since they weren't immediately going out, Yan Shu decided to get ready later. So after showering she dried her hair, tied it into a bun and wore an oversized T-shirt. She liked those because of how comfortable they were.

When she walked out of the bathroom, Song Yun was already paying the delivery man.

 "Yanyan," Song Yun spoke after they were done eating.

"I'm going to choose your outfit for tonight, and I won't take no for an answer."

Yan Shu sighed and gave a quick bow. "Whatever your highness desires."

Song Yun chuckled.

It was already 7:30 pm by the time Song Yun walked out of the bathroom.

She wore a bathrobe and had a towel tied around her hair.She grabbed the dress she chose for Yan Shu and entered her friend's room.

Her friend slept like the dead. That reminded her of how Yan Shu woke her up the other day.

"This is our chance to get revenge," whispered the little devil on her shoulder.

"But she is your friend," argued the little angel on the other shoulder.

"That didn't stop her from pouring water on your face," the little devil gave its final argument, and Song Yun agreed.

With a smirk on her face, she left the dress in the room and headed to the kitchen.

She grabbed a mug, filled it with water from the fridge and left it atop the table as she closed the fridge.

But when she turned around, the mug had disappeared. The next moment, Song Yun found herself splashed with water.Yan Shu had heard when Song Yun came into her room.

At first, she didn't pay it any mind, but when her friend left and she heard the fridge opening, she realized what was happening.

So she sneaked out of her bedroom and caught her by surprise."You sneaky fox," Song Yun lashed out, "you splashed me again!" She grabbed a throw pillow and hit her friend with it.

"I did it because you were going to do the same to me." Yan Shu shrugged after yanking the throw pillow from Song Yun's hands.

"I just wanted payback for what you did to me."Yan Shu shrugged again.

"By the way, what were you doing in my room?"

"I wanted to give you the dress. It's there in your room."Yan Shu found the dress hanging from the closet handle.

She picked it up and asked, "Don't you think it is too small?"

"Even if it is, you still have to wear it, and no more questions. Now go get ready, we're leaving in half an hour."
