Chapter Fifteen

NEXT MORNING

Elora pov

I woke up with a strong headache, I look around the room it was strange to me, I try to remember what happened, the incident last night flashed through my head, and all I could remember was the three guys dragging me before they injected me with something and then I passed out.

"where is this place?"I asked myself and a familiar voice spoke up.

"good morning".he greeted me and I went startled immediately I meet eyes with him, he was seating on the sofa with a cup of tea or probably a coffee, and he smiled faintly at me. at that point, different questions were running through my head and he jolt me out knowing full well what I was thinking." you don't need to be scared or something, this is my room, I brought you in last night because I don't know where you live".

"how did you-"he cut me short.

"Oh, about that, I saved you from those guys yesterday, I did not know what they were planning on doing to you, but why were you there at that time?".he asked and I try to talk when I felt a sharp pain on my head, he came over to me and hands me a glass of hot coffee." it will help for your headache ".

"thank you ".I sip from it and he sat on the bed

"Are you feeling much better?"

"yeah, thanks for saving me last night".

"you are welcome, but can you tell me why you were there at that moment?" he asked sipping from his coffee I let out a sigh and told him what happened. "really? Do you have any idea who could have tried to do that to you?".

"yes, but I am not sure of whom it may be between them, "I said and he look confused.

"Really?"

"yes".I sigh."thanks again for last night, if you have not come to my aid I wonder what they could have done to me".

"is okay, am glad I can help ".we smile at each other and then he stood up." you should freshen up and come down for breakfast".

"I don't think that will be necessary, I need to go back home, my nanny must be so worried that I did not come back home last night, "I said standing up from the bed.

"Are you sure you don't want breakfast first?".

"no, am fine ".

"Okay, I will drop you off ".

"thank you ".I wore my shoes and he pick up his shirt from the wardrobe and wore it, then we left, I find the building quite amazing and beautiful and I couldn't meet his parents because they left early...The drive from his house to my place was an hour's drive, I found out he has his car, but choose to drive it during the weekend. he packed outside the gate.

"Is this where you leave?" he asked staring amazingly at the building.

"um, yes for now".I replied

"it's beautiful".

"thank you, I will see you on Monday".

"sure no problem, do take care of yourself".

"I will".we smile at each other and I came down, waving at him as he zoomed off. I pressed the bell button on the gate and it was opened with a remote control, I went inside and I could see the sad worried look on nanny's face, but it got brightened up immediately after she saw me.

"Elora!" she called excitedly and ran to hug me and I hold her back." oh God, you okay," she said half in tears and could see Marvin from the stairs staring at us and I could see the relief from his face immediately he saw me, then we pulled away from each other." where were you although yesterday? what happened to you?" she asked and I feel her hands.

"am sorry nanny, I know I made you look worried".

"but what happened? why didn't you come back home last night?" she asked I let out a sigh and then raise my face to Marvin who was still staring at us and I frowned at him, I could see the surprised look on his face when he saw my frowned face, I turn away from nanny and walk a little closer to him so that he can hear me.

"Are you satisfied now? Do you have to go to that extent with me? What games are you playing Marvin!".I yelled out to him rudely and he was surprised.

"What are you talking about?" he asked confusedly.

"Elora, what are you talking about?" nanny asked surprisingly.

"don't play dumb with me, Marvin! I know it was you "I said angrily and I could see the more confused look on his face.

"Elora, what do you mean?" the nanny asked and turn to her

"I was locked up in the theater room yesterday and some group of three guys came in, tie me up to a chair, drugged me, but so lucky I was rescued by Nathan".I said and Nanny gasped in shock and turn my gaze back to him to see the surprised look on his face ." and it's his doing".I yelled angrily pointing at him.

"What? Are you crazy? Why will I want to do that,".he said trying to defend himself and I scoffs.

"Really? And you think I believe that trash!".I retort and nanny came to my front and places her hands on my shoulder.

"look at me Elora,".she said and I turn my gaze back to her."calm down, you don't need to point an accusing finger".

"I know what I am saying nanny, he did it, he is trying to play innocent".

"I told you I don't know what you are talking about ".he yelled angrily.

"yes, you do!"I yelled back and he rushed down to where I am frowning his face.

"See, you have no right to point an accusing finger at me, I don't know what you are talking about ". I scoff and turn to him.

"Spare me that crab Marvin, you are the only one planning on removing me out of the way, so, I see no reason for you trying to play innocent here".

"don't you dare! you have no proof!"

"you are such a hypocrite, and I bet you, you will never get away with this".I muttered angrily and we stare hard at each other. "you should watch your back because I will be coming for you".I warned.

"Are you threatening me?" he muttered out

"is not a threat, is a promise".

"Please you two should keep it down". nanny said.

"no nanny, this is not over yet".

"well I don't give a damn care okay if you want to know, I am so happy that you got served and I don't give a shit on what you think of me".he yelled and try to pick up a fight yelling out loud to each other, nanny was trying to calm us down, all the guards and maids were staring surprisedly at us, then, suddenly we got interrupted by someone from behind, everywhere was calm as we turn to the direction, I saw a young elegant woman with so much beauty and amazing figure, she looks innocent and calm.

"Did I come in at the wrong time?" she asked staring at us confusedly. "nanny, son, is everything okay here?".

"yes, everything is fine". nanny said with a sigh as she move closer to welcome her inside. She sat down with her gaze still fixed on us.

"Son? What is happening?".

"Nothing Mom,".he said calmly but anger could be heard in his voice then she turn her gaze to me and smile.

"you must be Elora,".she said and I nodded my head to her.

"yes, ma".I replied and let out a sigh. Some minutes later, we were seated and nanny told the lady what the commotion was all about.

"is that so?" she said and turn her gaze to Marvin "Son.." he cut in unlikely

"Mom before you say anything, firstly I did not send anyone to attack her in school and-"

"liar".I cut in rudely

"That's enough, I really did not know who to believe now, but we have to calm down first and then find out the truth,".she said.

"Exactly!". nanny agreed

"This shouldn't result in an argument, is just a little thing that can be trashed, I know my son very well, and I am not trying to defend him, he never lies about something, but you two need to stick with each other to find out who is responsible for this". she said and turn her gaze on me."Elora, I know you are hurt by what happened, but you have to keep calm, the truth will always prevail".

"yes ma, thank you".

"oh please don't call me Ma, am not that old, just call me Mrs. Soma".she smiles and I smile back.

"yes ma, I mean Mrs. Soma ".

"good".

"Elora go in and freshen up, and then come down for breakfast". nanny said.

"Okay, nanny".I said as I stood up and left for my room.
