Chapter 3: Distant Memories

Suzune "ahhh...why would you do that, I was right cave man" looking at me dead in my face.

"Haha I guess I am, hey ice queen I don't remember you standing and giving your name what is it" laughing.

Suzune "you were sleeping the entire class, it's not like you would know" turning back to what she was doing.

"Doesn't change the facts, judging by the way you handle things, you don't look the type to share it freely Ice queen". Leaning besides her ear.

Kiyotaka "from what I recall she didn't try to speak up, during introductions" grabbing things.

Suzune "the two of you always pester people?, my names not ice queen". Still minding her business.

"Not really my style, just thought it be good to know, being that we would be in a class 4 year's together, well so be it ice queen" turning around.

Suzune "ahhhh....it's Suzune Horikita" in a quiet annoyed voice.

"Huh? What was that" turning to her, playing as though I didn't already know or hear her.

Suzune "Suzune Horikita, happy?" annoyed.

Kiyotaka "like the student Council president?" Looking at her.

"Haha so it seem we...."

*fx for glass stuff falling, the whole store went silent.

Turning my head slowly looking at the door, to see a short girl, her big beautiful eyes having tears well up in them.

"Re....ren....renji?" Looking at me, unable to control her feels, looking down at the bags she dropped.

"Ahh shit...ta.." before I could speak, she ran tears running down her face, out of the door, right between 4 idiots arguing.

Suzune "what was that about cave man?" In a confused voice, looking at the stuff on the floor.

With out saying anything I took off.

Suzune "do you have any idea?" Looking at kiyotaka, wanting answers.

Kiyotaka ".....*sigh is complicated" walking to the store Clerk, paying for the things the girl broke.

Suzune "...." wondering, looking at the automatic doors.

Outside I look and can't see her anywhere seeing the jackass ken, and 3 dumb asses arguing.

"Hey the short girl that ran out where is she?" Looking at the 4 assholes.

1dumbass "we got a big one here you from 1-D to?!" with a superior tone.

"Ken where'd she go" ignoring them.

Ken "she...." getting interrupted.

3dumbass "must be, calling this idiot by name haha" like a hyena.

2dumb "you 1-D trash, are all the same was that like little bitch from your...." before getting his face grabbed and lifted up, pure strength.

"What did you say" my voice completely changing.

1dumbass "hey let him go...." trying to get near me.

"Say it again!" Anger growing.

Kiyotaka "renji...just calm down" hearing how I sounded, looking at the camera.

Suzune "....." looking at me Lyft the kid by his face.

"....." breathing out, I dropped him.

"Ken where did she go?" Turning to him.

He pointed towards the garden type area at the center of the luxury facility areas.

Taking off, I controlled by speed but still pretty fast. Going into the forest garden area I ran looking all over. Until I saw a small back, sitting at the at the Edge, where the railing was, looking at the ocean.

Walking up I wrapped my arms around her from behind, her stomach and beside her neck.

"Taiga..I'm" trying to get out words.

Taiga "yo...yo..you left me me renji!" Crying her heart out as she tried to struggle free.

[small flash back]

"Run now, we will meet when it is time" bloody yelling at kiyotaka, who blankly starred at me.

Coming up to him and rubbing his head.

"I promise" as he nodded, ran off.

Running for who knows how long making it to a city. Coming out of the forest area I stayed to my self for a long time.

Taiga "hey get off me!" getting punched in the stomach by a Guy.

Guy "shut up bitch! This what you get for stealing" as she dropped, they proceeded to kick her in the stomach, Coughing up blood.

Before I knew it I was there, still tall even when I was younger.

Guy2 "hey the hell do you.." before head butting and breaking his jaw.

Other guys "we gotta hero! Going to fight us with your eyes closed!?" Coming at me.

As I broke arms, legs, noses, in the end bringing my fist down on a guys face over and over until he was unrecognizable.

Going to pick her little body up, off the ground, walking away.

Taiga "stoppp!!" Waking up on a couch she didn't know.

"Your finally up....here made it for you" giving her ramen, as she backed away from me.

Taiga "who are you why am I here" getting in a fighting stance,until her stomach started growling,

"Haha I'm the guy who saved you little tiger, I'm renji, renji Ayanokoji" smiling as she took the food, eating it slowly at first till her eyes lit up, devouring it.

Taiga "thank you" in a really quiet voice.

"Haha cute" going to make more

Time passed as I took her Home, leaving alone as her family was always busy, choosing to live alone, rather then being torn between her mother and father, getting mad and forgetting about her for some time, she stool from time to time this time Getting caught. That's when we meet I told her bits and pieces of my life.

Taiga "come on let me see them renji" jumping on my back.

"Alright alright" as she jumped down, turning to her, I opened my eyes.

Taiga "beautiful" looking at them with stars.

"I don't think so" looking away, thinking.

Taiga "it's ok renji, you'll tell me when your ready" Grabbing my face with care.

"Yeah I guess I will little tiger haha" laughing at her.

Taiga "ahhh say that again" jumping up kicking me in my face.

Like this we spent along time together.

Sitting by the water on a beautiful day, under the shade of a tree, laying on her lap while she read a book and played with my hair.

Taiga "renji" looking down at me.

"Yes" with my eyes closed, the wind blowing my hair.

Taiga "your not going anywhere are you?" Look down as I open my eyes.

"No I wouldn't want to be anywhere else" smiling a small smile.

Taiga "Better not, and me either" making a scary face, well she thought.

Time went on,finding out about kiyotaka and going to meet him, I wrote a letter and left a large sum of money, after she stayed the night watching movies and eating having her own room here. Putting it on the counter, grabbing my things and leaving.

Taiga "ahhhh....breakfast....renji!!" Barely awake, knowing I get up early to cook for her.

Taiga "renji....need food!" Still not ready to get up, thinking I was playing around.

Taiga "renji!!" Shooting up worried, I didn't come jumping on her bed.

Coming to the living room with my giant shirt on she stole.

Taiga "come on renji I'm hungry" thinking I'd be in the kitchen.

Looking down seeing the letter and opening it, rubbing her tired eyes.

'Dear light tiger,

I'm sorry I couldn't face you, I didn't think I'd have to leave so soon but there something I need to do, I couldn't watch you cry, I left you some things, to make sure your ok while I'm away and I made sure there's food in the fridge, you need to learn to cook or you'll starve to death you little monster haha, you know tigers gotta eat to get bigger...

Tears fall on the paper, dropping to her knees as she thinks about the times they spend together.

Taiga "renji" grabbing the paper, holding it near her chest.

[End flash back]

With my arms still wrapped around her as she struggles.

"Goodbyes are not forever, they are not the end they just simply mean.." whispering in her ear, until I hear her speak.

Taiga "I'll miss you, until we meet again" stopping her struggles as just buries her face into my arm.

" I've missed you taiga" putting my under chin on her head.

Taiga "I've missed you to...renji"
