[147] "The Difference between us"
Andrei's imposing aura shook everyone present, including his own allies.
Earthquake looks at Andrei in awe as he ponders. 'Will Lord Andrei unleash his power from the beginning?'
His imposing aura converges into a point, shaping into a sphere that resembles a black hole.
'Die...' Andrei pronounced with disdain.
In the next instant, the terrifying attack descends upon Garrith and his Phoenix.
Garrith's eyes glow their golden hue, and a flash of light spreads from Phoenix in all directions.
A terrifying explosion erupts, obliterating everything in its path within a radius of hundreds of miles.
The barrier protecting teachers and students weakens, causing those already frightened by the magnitude of the attacks to feel their hearts begin to pound anxiously.
The teachers, trembling with fear, quickly unite to create a barrier to protect everyone.
Kayden and Kartein, along with Jiwoo, observe the situation with grim expressions. They exchange a glance and, unnoticed, the two disappear.
Earthquake, Habib, Gheorghe and the others watch in amazement as they quickly take cover.
The dust dissipates and Andrei emerges into the sky with a sneer, while Garrith lies with his clothes torn, his body splattered with dirt and numerous light cuts that bleed.
Phoenix, for his part, drips blood all over his body.
Leah, Arthur, Elay, Jisuk, Subin and the other young men feel a cold sweat run down their foreheads, and their faces reflect the incredible shock of the scene before their eyes.
Garrith strikes back swiftly, and the fire from the Phoenix's feathers intensifies, making the atmosphere become even more suffocating, reaching the point where the concrete begins to melt.
"(Flare of the Phoenix)"
The fire given off by Phoenix was rising into the atmosphere, creating a terrifying scene that shocked those who contemplated it.
All that immense amount of fire returned to Phoenix, and with a flap of his wings, he concentrated all that fire in his body to release it in a single point, generating a terrifying blaze of fire.
The flare wipes out everything in its path.
Andrei shows no sign of being affected by the terrifying attack, he simply lets out another sneer and places both hands in the direction of the attack, forming a vortex.
Garrith's attack and Andrei's defense come into contact, and the vortex devours the attack with ease.
Andrei smiles and comments. "That's all you got?"
The place is plunged into a tense silence.
Garrith, surprised, frowns as he thinks, 'Not a scratch.'
Cain, shocked, looks at his grandfather and reflects. 'Is this the difference between someone who is in the top 10 in the world rankings and someone who is not?'
The teachers, concerned, watch as the translucent barrier slowly regains its color, and breathe a little more relieved.
Garrith looks at Phoenix and mutters.
"(Fiery Cyclone)."
The bird gracefully spreads its wings in the sky, and a gale of intense flames is created, changing the color of the sky to a reddish-orange hue.
A Fiery Cyclone forms around Phoenix, creating a spiral of fire that advances toward the target.
As it approaches, the flames dance and spin in hypnotic patterns, creating the illusion of a fiery vortex.
The impact not only causes physical damage, but also leaves behind a trail of intense heat.
With a frown, Andrei creates another spiral, but this time a gust of wind expands in all directions and a blinding flash occurs at the point of impact.
Andrei, with some surprise, feels his hands tremble and quickly concentrates more power, slowly disintegrating Garrith's attack.
The place falls into a stony silence as Andrei watches his trembling hands. He looks up at Garrith, who shows surprise as he thinks: 'The impact of that attack made my hands tremble... although I didn't use all my power, it's a lot more than I usually need to deal with these guys'.
Andrei examines his thumb and notices a small burn, he mutters to himself.' Injured?'. He then turns his gaze to Garrith and pronounces. 'You've made a mistake.'
A terrifying rumble echoes, and from Andrei's body a reddish-black shockwave expands in all directions.
Garrith takes cover and quickly counterattacks.
Earthquake, Gheorghe, Marcus take cover, while Habib and the other two Frame members, noticing the situation, turn and run away quickly.
The students tremble, and the teachers, with pale faces, desperately reinforce Garrith's barrier.
The shockwave engulfs much of the city, accompanied by a loud rumbling.
Dust covers the place, leaving Garrith kneeling with his body bleeding all over, in a terrible state, while Phoenix, at his side, exhibits his usual size with white feathers tinged with red.
A sepulchral silence reigns in the place, the great majority remains motionless and pale as statues, not daring to utter the slightest sound.
Jiwoo directs a surprised look at the director and then notices the absence of Kayden and Kartein at his side, his face filled with doubt.
Meanwhile, Andrei smiles mischievously, looks away from Garrith and scans the youth and teachers, who feel a shiver run through their bodies as they meet the intensity of his gaze.
Andrei fixes his gaze on Jiwoo, but the latter does not flinch and does not avert his gaze.
Andrei grimaces and comments. "You're just like them, you're not afraid of anything."
Earthquake notices the other two Frame members in the distance, who immediately understand and disappear running towards them.
Habib Can ponder for a moment and then dashes towards them as well.
Meanwhile, Earthquake, Marcus and Gheorghe stay some distance away, watching the situation unfold.
