[146] "Conversation"
"Garrith Luterain..." said Andrei with a faint smile.
"What are you doing here?" asked Garrith seriously. As he glanced sideways at the state of the teachers and students, his gaze strayed to the destruction caused by the impact of the attacks.
'The vast majority of the guards can't withstand the blast wave..... 'They must have died' he thought.
"I heard of something very interesting and couldn't miss the opportunity," Andrei said with a smile.
The flapping of the Phoenix's wings and the golden glow it gave off created a palpable tension in the atmosphere.
"Well, your visit does not amuse me at all," Garrith commented calmly.
Andrei smiles slightly and replies, "I have some business to attend to."
Then he descends from the sky, Garrith does the same, and the battlefield is divided into two sides.
Behind Garrith are the teachers and students, while behind Andrei three figures appear.
Garrith frowns and recognizes them at a glance.
"Earthquake," he muttered loud enough for all present to hear.
'Earthquake, a 50th ranked member of the world ranking and Andrei's right hand man' thought the top 10 members of the world academy.
Kartein and Kayden, next to Jiwoo, observe the situation with serious but relaxed faces.
Jiwoo looks at them with surprise, analyzing them, and thinks. 'The Klein brothers were members of Frame, and my brother told me they were among the weakest.'
Andrei, hands behind his back, ponders. 'Those fuckers, none of them wanted to act, so I'll have to take care of everything alone. At least those flies will take care of the ants.'
Three other figures descend from the sky, capturing the attention of everyone except Andrei and the other members of Frame.
The WAA youth and teachers look uncertainly at the new participants.
Garrith frowns even more at the sight of them. 'Habib Can (Top 100), Gheorghe (Top 35) and Marcus (Top 50). They all have problems with Kayden and Ares. The situation is getting more and more complicated with that kid being here.'
Seongha and Inhyuk immediately recognize those guys and wonder. 'What are they doing here?'
Gheorghe scans the crowd and asks. "Who is Kayden Break's disciple?"
Jiwoo raises his hand immediately with his innocent face drawing attention.
"Do you know me?" asked Gheorghe.
Jiwoo shakes his head and says. "No..."
A vein appears on Gheorghe's forehead, and his face turns ugly.
Arthur, next to Jiwoo, looks at him in surprise.
Earthquake looks at Jiwoo and says. "Child, your attitude is just as irritating as that of your master and brother."
A muscular man, with a collar around his neck adorned with spikes and a gray mask covering his mouth and nose, looks at Jiwoo coldly and says while showing a grimace of disgust. "He has that same arrogance as them..." He then smiles and adds. "I would happily take care of him right away."
Jiwoo just takes to looking at them with seriousness on his face, showing no signs of fear or worry.
Inhyuk and Seongha look at the seriousness with concern and think. 'Did they come for Jiwoo?'
That same question manifested in the minds of everyone present.
Kayden and Kartein looked fiercely at that guy.
Inhyuk looks seriously at the young men near Garrith and thinks. 'They are too close. If there is a confrontation, the first ones to suffer the consequences will be them.'
A wind appears in Inhyuk's right hand at the same time as another stream of wind surrounds Wooin, Sucheon, Gangseok, Subin and Jisuk. With a wave of his hand, the wind pushes them close to him.
Inhyuk's movement gained everyone's attention, at the same time one of the WAA teachers reacted and said. "Quickly, come closer to us."
The top 10 members who were going to fight quickly approached their teachers, making all the people concentrate in a small place.
Garrith looks at Inhyuk and thinks. 'His action woke the teachers up from the stupor they were in. The closer they are, the easier it will be to protect them.'
Andrei looks at Garrith with a smile and says. "Do you think you'll be able to protect them all?"
"What do you mean?" asked Garrith seriously.
Andrei smiles mischievously and says. "You will die today, just like your students."
Before anyone could get out of their stupor, the three people next to Andrei, plus Habib Can, Gheorghe and Marcus, disappeared from their place at great speed.
With great reaction, Garrith sees out of the corner of his eyes how those six people attack the students and teachers with their hands behind their backs, showing calmness, he focuses his gaze on Andrei.
The worried teachers and students look up at the sky, seeing six figures descending. But suddenly, an orange barrier stops them and blocks their way.
"This will not go unpunished. Since when is Frame so arrogant to defy the World Awakened Association?" commented Garrith coolly.
"When his students die, we'll see..." replied Andrei.
Phoenix begins to flap his wings, rising and levitating above Garrith as he flaps his wings.
A golden aura emanates from Garrith, and a reddish orange aura emanates from Fenix.
The two energies intertwine, and the white feathers turn intense red like a flame of fire that will never be extinguished.
The blue crystal on his chest turns orange, and his stature grows to about 30 meters.
The atmosphere becomes stifling, the beads of sweat from nervousness dry up, and the lips likewise lose their moisture.
"You only brought those to die," Garrith commented.
Andrei, hands behind his back and very calm, replies in an angry voice. "You think you can stand up to me?"
Earthquake, Habib Can and the others quickly retreat.
mind. Gheorghe, a few meters away, observes the situation calmly and thinks. 'When I'm focused on their confrontation, I could infiltrate and I'll finish off all those nasty guys from Korea and enjoy finishing off your brother... Ares.'
Andrei smirks, and an incredible red with black energy is released from his body.
