Elder Blood Witcher

Most people who die and are confronted with a godlike being like to take the easy route... Not this guy. I have been sitting on this concept for a while and want to see if I can write it, starting with the Witcher then the game Absolver and then onto Darksouls 1. Don't rely on there being consistent updates because its unlikely... Wide awake

Tyrael was exhausted. He'd been fighting against Diablo's creatures for 10 straight minutes now but the situation didn't seem to be changing anytime soon.

Raising his sword he severs another clawed arm before focussing on the rest, getting raked across his arm while he was distracted... The wound wasn't much, but when combined with all the others he'd sustained it added up. Blood dripped from various parts of his body, slowly pooling under the spot he'd planted himself to protect his companions.

He was beginning to think all hope was lost, but a blood curdling roar eliminated those thoughts... Glancing behind him he spotted Barnock with red eyes thrashing about in a rage, the black smoke imprisoning him somehow being shunted off.

Once the barbarian was free of his imprisonment he launched himself at the group of demons Tyrael had been struggling with, colliding with them like a rocket and causing anything he hit to explode into a red mist.

Tyrael "Barnock!?" he shouts, spotting that his friend clearly wasn't in the right state of mind.

Of course he received no response, Barnock continuing his rampage, butchering anything nearby with his axe and sometimes tearing monsters apart with his bare hands. It didn't even seem like he had the mental capacity to head for Diablo to end the conflict once and for all.

*BOOM!*

Tyrael's head whips around towards what'd caused the noise, eventually spotting that Mathias had broken from his own imprisonment, his body was unusual however... Mathias began floating in mid air with his body no longer resembling anything human, sure it was humanoid but he lacked a face, or any identifying features that would indicate that it is infact, Mathias.

He looked like a being made from pure magic, blue, black, and purple were constantly shifting into one another like a cosmic deity. Most would compare it to a starry nights sky, even if the rapidly revolving magic did ruin such an image.

Tyrael "Mathias!? Are you conscious!?" he shouts, wanting to know if he'd have another mindless destroyer to deal with.

The cosmic being nodded, an odd mixture between rasping, echoing, and Mathias voice speaking, "I am, Diablo's attempt at breaking my mind has failed. I think it is time to end this." he states.

Tyrael nods after cutting down yet another demon, "End this!" he shouts in agreement, just as Quennie drops to her knees while sobbing. Both were distracted by this for a moment, but ignored it as they spotted the black smoke still enveloping her, clearly this was just the affect of Diablo's spell.

Unfortunately, just as Mathias was about to unleash a spell on Diablo, they had their attention shifted to Selina who'd begun to glow with a turquoise aura surrounding her...

The cavern they were within began to shake and shudder as the magical pressure emitted by her continues to climb, Mathias had no idea what this was or why it was happening, even with his years mastering the mysteries of magic.

Even after Diablo's smoke was vanquished from her she didn't stop her magical rampage, it seemed as if she had no control over it at all, whatever Diablo had shown her to get such a reaction they'd hazard to guess, but it must have been horrifying.

It seems that even Diablo was cautious against whatever the phenomenon was, dispelling the terror spell and glaring at Selina, "Stop her!" they shout, thrusting their hand forwards to command his demons.

Mathias and Tyrael had no idea what'd happen if the demons reached Selina and started destroying any that approached, the former casting spells so powerful that even Harry would struggle to defend against it.

Large boulders of stone started dropping from above them as the cavern continued to shake, most fell upon the demons but a few almost hit the group, one shattering on the back of Barnock as he continued to rampage.

And then, as if it was just dust in the wind, the magical aura surrounding Selina vanished, the girl dropping onto her back exhausted.

Tyrael ran over to the girl to see if she was injured, breathing a sigh of relief when he found no visible wounds. Glancing over to Quennie he picked Selina up and placed her next to her sister, feeling that it'd be easier to protect them like this.

Now that Selina wasn't tearing everything around her apart, Mathias floated above everything and slowly approach Diablo, the demon grinning maliciously at him all the while.

Mathias "This is your end Diablo." he states, raising both hands and summoning magic circles above them that glowed intensely with power.

Diablo "You are a fool, wizard." he says, not even bothering to defend himself as a disintegration beam hits him in the chest. The energy immediately begins blackening the skin it touches, flakes flying off as it digs deeper and deeper. Soon nothing was left of Leah's body, Mathias released the spell and focussed on his enemy, Diablo now looking like a lump of blackened meat.

He'd assumed it wouldn't be this easy to defeat him and stayed on guard in-case this was just another trick. His fears were confirmed when the blackened meat started moving, rapidly stretching and changing colour.

He throws another couple of spells at Diablo but found that they did almost nothing to the demon as its body was being reformed... After a moment he was presented with the Prime Evil's new body, 9ft with a feminine figure reminiscent of Leah, red scales covered its form like an exoskeleton. Glowing red and orange gaps in its scales covered its body, burning with intense heat that seemed to belong to hell itself.

Its face was vaguely humanoid-like in shape, but had many horns protruding from it, as well as insect-like mandables on both sides of its mouth. Its eyes were bright orange that reflected the sheer power contained beneath the scales.

Its entire body looked made for combat, large bone protrusions covered most areas of its body, some even in impractical spots that'd limit movement. Connected to its arms were malicious looking sharp spear-like bones that were only matched by the demons powerful tail.

Hope you guys like the chap, if I missed anything please let me know.
