Eighty-Six: The Exectioner

The executioner, the best of the best, the survivor that lived through battlefields of death, and became the bringer of death. She was highly prized by the millitary of San Magnolia republic despite her being one those "slaughter pigs"as ironic as it can be. Despite she had the iconic silver hair, her bright crimson ruby right and fiery beryl blue left heterochromatic eyes had set her different from others, but it didn't bring bring the usual looks of disdain, au cotraire, it was jealousy and greed that had sparked a fire of hate. The eyes she had were extremely rare, possesing the ability to see into the future. And in the passion of hate, the "pure bloods" sent her to the front lines. She isn't just some diposable person though, and her nickname describes perfectly why. She is vastly different from the other "slaughter pigs". No matter what orders the handler gives, she always secures a 100% success rate. She executes every command like an oiled machine and maintained well, efficiently taking out any Legion she was tasked to. She was the Executioner. And so those silver haired bastards decided honour her performance, that is at least what they told her with contempt. She was going to be transfered to the "Spear-Head" squadron in the 86th area, with a new "toy" they had her pilot, it was a prototype unit. And alike her nickname, they named it after her, The Executioner. Well, not like codename "Vindicator" gives f*ck about what they name it. The only thing she could give a care to is being transfered to the unit "Spear-Head". She got to meet an equally famous/infamous soldier after all. Codename "Under-Taker". It was the reaper Shinei Nouzen himself. Along with the others of the Spear-Head squadron. She could only smile as she stares at the new people she would work with. "I have feeling the next years onwards are going to be frigging fun."

The Executioner

All looked behind them as they saw a cloud of utter black on the horizon, blotting out everything from there, slowly approaching. "Eintagsfliege." Raiden spoke. "Ah, Jammers too." Theo confirmed, while adding additional info. "That means radar will be down."

"When will they arrive here?" Kurena asked. "In about two hours, as I'm told." Theo answered. "Got it, we're coming back." Daiya responded. "No sheperds this time, it seems. They'll just try and overwhelm you." Theo added.

"Just sheep? A duck hunt then." Raiden asked as he munched on the berries while also running full speed. And soon, every juggernaut on the spearhead unit was neatly arranged to face the incoming wave. "Good, everyone's here. Attention." Shin's voice rang as everyone turned to him.

"I'll explain the situation. There's a swarm nearby, and another one linking up with it from the rear. Supplying first, I presume. As soon as it's done, they'll probably attack. We'll ambush them at point 304 on their route, and establish a kill zone in the main street, where we'll eliminate most of the enemy." Shin commanded as they proceeded.

The cockpit opened as they entered in, wearing their seatbelts, closing the hatch, and finally, turning on their 'visual sensors' that come in the form of holograms. "Even in spring, it gets cold when the sun is blotted out." Haruto spoke.

"The cockpit gets awfully cold, considering how cramped it is." Kino responded as Theo added; "Well, the armour is paper thin and has plenty of gaps in it.-" "-And it's slow." Kurena interjected.

"And it breaks pretty easily.-" "-Yup, it's full of shit.-" "-And it's all those privileged Republic "humans" fault!" Anju, Raiden, and finaly, Vindicator slammed the final nail as the sky darkened like night from all the Entagsfliege in the sky.

"Handler one to all units. The enemy appears to be approaching. Deploy to point 208 and inercept them." Vladilena Milize, entered the comms. "Undertaker to Handler 1. We're already deployed. Well intercept them at point 304, farther ahead."

"Fast. You're as good as they say, Undertaker." Lena praised. "Oh, here they come." Raiden spoke, a shallow smokescreen of dust appearing before the marching leagion. "Ah, the legion's out in full force again today. Well, they're mostly scout type Ameise." Daiya reamarked.

"They're easy to destroy, but they're quite frankly annoying." Anju added. "Grauwolfs? What a pain..." Haruto spoke. "I guess we have to take this seriously." Theo concluded as Kurena aimed her sights towards the enemy, only to complain.

"I really hate that guy.... A Lowe's main gun is twice as powerful as ours. It can kill you fast." She grunted. "Hey. Don't mind, don't mind, we'll pull through. It's annoying as heck though." Vindicator, who's been silent all this long, finally spoke.

She stretched her arms while letting out a low moan, garnering the annoyance of everyone. "Oi! Stop moaning in the comms, Vindicator! It's fricking annoying!" Raiden complained.

"Ah? Sumanai.... Got carried away while stretching, couldn't hold the satisfying release." Vindicator responded as a manic smile bloomed on her face. "...I'll punish you later, Vindicator. Anyways, everyone. Ready, open fire." Shin spoke.

And all hell broke loose. The wind howled as a rain bullets hit the main street below, devouring the Ameise, the Grauwolfs, the road in explosions while the rest bounced of the Lowes.

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* Continous roars of heavy fire resounded as Vindicator intercepted them on the street itself while the others rained heavy fire on the streets ahead of her. She won't be losing on the kill count though. "Man... this is tough."

Vindicator let out an exasperated sigh, though the grin on her face betrayed her previous words. Spreading the previously two, now four giant blades, she rushed towards the enemies.

*Bang!* A gunshot resonated as she quickly dodged to the side with completely inhuman speed, strafing slashes and stabs at the countless Ameise while also avoiding the shots from various enemies trying to gun her down.

"Oh?" *Bang!* A bullet hit the side of the building where Vindicator quickly hid behind. The air whistled as a row of majestic explosions exploded on the street before her.

"Guys... the Grauwolf's as starting their bombardment. Retreat from open fire!" Vindicator shouted at the comms. "No shit, Vindicator!" Mikuri spoke.

"Third platoon, withdraw to the southeast and keep you current targets close to you. Fifth platoon, maintain your position. When an enemy enters kill zone, wipe them out with coordinated fire." Shinei commanded. "Black dog, understood!" Irma responded.

"Snow witch, reload while you can." Irma added. "Snow witch, roger. As always, thanks for the reminder." Anju responded. "Laughing fox, I can't say the same. Don't shoot me, Black Dog!" Theo spoke as he, like Vindicator, engaged in close quarters firing exchange with the enemy.

Moving with swift, he dodged and blitz through buildings, retuning fire with a shot, a kill in return. "Hahahaha!" Vindicator barked laughter though the comms, "Looks like I found a fellow brethren who fears getting shot from behind!"

Vindicator continued wrecking havoc as she pulled agro from nearby enemies and lured them, quickly sidestepping into the cover of a building to hide from the relentless assualt of the third platton on the enemies she lured, exiting out another way to repeat the process.

Only for her perception to speed up as she felt the world slow down, visions of pain, and death engulfed her in the form of hail fire from above. Time slowly rewinded back as she pounced backwards and headed back towards the others.

Explosions hit the main street seconds later, and the act of friendly fire completely destroyed the "All units, split up and cease fire!" Shin's voice resounded on the comms. "Handler 1 to all units! That's Long-Ranged-Gunner type Skorpion fire. Be careful." Lena spoke.

"I am sending you the aproximate location of their spotters. Three potential spotters, confirm and take them out." Another screen abruptly appeared and showed Shin the aproximate locations of the spotters.

"Gunslinger, four units at a distance of 1200, heading 0-3-0, on the roof." Shin shared it to Kurena, who briefly responded. "Roger, on it." She replied. "Handler one, directional laser-based data transmisions can reveal our location. Please limit yourself to verbal communication during operations." Shin added. "I'm sorry." Lena curtly apologised.

"The next set of observers will be appearing soon. Keep me informed on their location." "Understood!" The two concluded the conversation as a single bullet flew towards the three spotters where they gathered information to feed to the Skorpion, killing all three in an instant.

"There's an awful lot of them today, Vindicator." Raiden spoke as he dashed forward while avoiding enemy fire. "You said it was a duck hunt earlier, Wehr-Wolf. Just enjoy the adrenaline while you can." Vindicator answered with a smirk.

"There are deffinitely more Lowes, than expected. The restricted vision makes them more dangerous too. We should start whitling down their numbers." Shin butted in on the convo. "You make it sound so easy..." Raiden complained.

"*Sigh*..... Me and Vindicator will deal with the Lowes, you deal with the others and take temporary control." Shin improvised. "Roger that. Don't make Aldretch scream his head off again!" Raiden holwed.

Suddenly, Vindicator sprinted off unto the main street and went for a nearby Lowe. "Undertaker! You ready?!" Vindicator exclaimed exitedly. "Vindicator.... You should ask this before you should even jump into danger-" Shin exasperately spoke, only to be cut off by a gun shot.

"I just can't help it!" Vindicator barked a loud laugh that everyone heard through the comms. "Vindicator! Undertaker?! What are you two doing?!!" Lena's distressed and worried voice only to be drowned out by another round of blalant laughter.

"Vindicator to Handler one. Have you ever heard of my name?!" Vindicator growled as she jumped on top of another Lowe, before jumping immediately right after. *Bang!* The sound of anti armour rounds exploding on the Lowe resounded as she aimed her gun straight towards another Lowe that had shot at her previously. "....What?" Lena was confused.

"Hahaha! So you don't know?" Vindicator asked with a doubting tone as she dodged to the side and lunged forward, stabbing the front blades into a Lowe, letting her momentum do the job and rip the Lowe's side, before blowing a hole into it, dodging a bullet by inch precision.

"Listen!" Vindicator shouted at the comms, while the others of 86 only smiled at her antics while gunning down the enemies with vigor. "I am a Vindicator!" She spoke, firing at the gap in between the mounted gun and main body of a Lowe, destroying it from the inside.

"I am a Warrior!!" She shouted while jumping and spinning midair, splitting the barrels of two Lowe's in half before she skidded to a stop and unloading a bullet each to the Lowes. She unloaded the clip as Fido, who hid inside building threw the magazine into the air.

Vindicator jumped into the air, and the clip inserted itself perfectly like this was something that had already been done thousands of times already as she sidestepped unto the back of a live Lowe and putting the back of her gun was and backed into it.

Thunderous gun shots as the once live Lowe died, and the loose magazine clipped to the gun with the helping force from the recoil of the gunshots from the enemies. Vindicator smiled as she raced out and began gunning down every enemy in her sight.

"I am Akari Festellen!!" She sped up and suddenly lunged towards a Lowe and embedded her side blades into it, her momentum redirecting the fire towards the Lowe opposite of it, shooting each other in mutual destruction. "I am....."

She jumped up and fired her cable towards a by pass bridge, narrowly avoiding a shot as she dangled from the ship, and from her upside-down position, unloaded the rest of her remaining ammunition unto the last Lowe. *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

The barrel of her gun slowly released smoke as she pulled her cable back and stood on top of the by pass bridge, observing the burning down city. "...The Executioner."
