Eighty-Six: The Exectioner

The executioner, the best of the best, the survivor that lived through battlefields of death, and became the bringer of death. She was highly prized by the millitary of San Magnolia republic despite her being one those "slaughter pigs"as ironic as it can be. Despite she had the iconic silver hair, her bright crimson ruby right and fiery beryl blue left heterochromatic eyes had set her different from others, but it didn't bring bring the usual looks of disdain, au cotraire, it was jealousy and greed that had sparked a fire of hate. The eyes she had were extremely rare, possesing the ability to see into the future. And in the passion of hate, the "pure bloods" sent her to the front lines. She isn't just some diposable person though, and her nickname describes perfectly why. She is vastly different from the other "slaughter pigs". No matter what orders the handler gives, she always secures a 100% success rate. She executes every command like an oiled machine and maintained well, efficiently taking out any Legion she was tasked to. She was the Executioner. And so those silver haired bastards decided honour her performance, that is at least what they told her with contempt. She was going to be transfered to the "Spear-Head" squadron in the 86th area, with a new "toy" they had her pilot, it was a prototype unit. And alike her nickname, they named it after her, The Executioner. Well, not like codename "Vindicator" gives f*ck about what they name it. The only thing she could give a care to is being transfered to the unit "Spear-Head". She got to meet an equally famous/infamous soldier after all. Codename "Under-Taker". It was the reaper Shinei Nouzen himself. Along with the others of the Spear-Head squadron. She could only smile as she stares at the new people she would work with. "I have feeling the next years onwards are going to be frigging fun."

Rain Is Coming

May 22nd, Stellar Year 2148. It was the dead of night, where Vindicator and Shin walked together towards the repair warehouse without a word among them.

"Hey there!" Raiden greeted, as he walked towards the two with Kaie, Tohzan, and Mikuri right behind him. "Hey there." Shin responded. "Hey!" Vindicator responded with smile.

"The new one seems pretty dangerous." Raiden spoke, as Shin tilted his head to the side to express his confusion. "Ah, that one. The new handler, Shin, ya' forgot?" Vindicator asked with a confident smile on her face.

"Well...." Shin muttered, he wanted to say something about Vindicator's haugty smile, but that smile was soon replaced with panic as she hid behind Shin and spoke in a scared voice.

"Shin, protect me!" Raiden and the others showed a confused face as, as fast as she did it, a sudden and quite enraged voice bellowed. "Shin! Shinei Nouzen!"

Raiden and the others sweat dropped as they also hurried to go behind Shin. "You did it again, you bastard!" An finely aged man shouted as he approached the group.

"Old man Aldretch's about to go off again...." Tohzan muttered as Aldretch walked over towards the duo specifically, towering over the two of them. "You need anything?" Shin spoke with a indifferent face.

"Don't give me that response!" "Hiiii!!" Aldretch scowled as Vindicator cowered under his wrath. "I need to know why you keep smashing up your machines every mision!"

"I keep telling you that their legs are weak, so don't push them!" Aldretch pointed towards Shin's juggernaut. "Sorry..." Shin meekly apologised, though his face didn't show any at all.

"And you!" Aldretch pointed at Vindicator, hiding behind Shin... "You control a modified unit, outfitted with auxillary 'smaller punching' guns that we don't have!"

"Why the hell would you use to ram at the enemy, discard it, and then make it explode! You're basically taking out your smaller guns and leaving the main gun, with small nubs all around the unit, so that would be replaced with blades.... just why?!"

"Eeeeeep!!" Vindicator vissibly shrunk back, responding nearly inaudibly with; "So that I can do just exactly that...?" She replied with zero energy to deal with the situation.

"We don't have any more spare parts! We won't be able to repair them until the next batch comes!" Adlretch shouted at the duo. "Fido shouldv'e brought back Kujo's machine." Shin spoke as he dragged the obviously deflated Vindicator inside the warehouse.

"...!" Aldretch stopped, considering what Shin mentioned. "Well, I guess we can use ones from one of their's. But are the two of you really fine using parts from machines that someone died in?" To which Shin knocked on the part of his juggernaut that had his symbol.

A headless skeleton holding a shovel, "Heh!" Aldretch scoffed as he turned his head to the side. "I guess it's a little bit late to ask that. Got it, Undertaker."

"Kujo is lucky to die in a unit with you and her. You guys take the other processors too." Aldretch looked at the small metal plate Shin was holding. "Heh, me?" Vindicator, still confused and disoriented from Aldretch's earlier complaints, spoke up.

To which Aldretch brought up his fist as tick marks appeared on hsi fore head from the sheer 'bird brain-like" capabilities of the girl, and struck her forehead gently. "Ita!" The girl exclaimed. "What did I do now?!" Vindicator shouted back.

"Goodness, I seriously can't fathom how this brain-dead girl is still alive." A rare, worried look appeared on Aldretch's face as he remebered the days where his.... before the usual calm look returned back to his face. "By the way,"

"I heard the news. What's the new Handler like?" "She's fine, I guess." Vindicator rubbed her forehead, annoyed. "[Fine]? What do you even mean by that?"

"They synch'd to say [hello], that they want to maintain good lines of communication, and it will be calling everyday. Rare, for a Republic soldier." Shin spoke as he climbed up his juggernaut and took out a box just below his seat.

"So, what you'd call an "ordinary person"? They must have lived a hard life, poor thing." Aldretch commented as he walked away slowly, while Vindicator just threw a tongue out towards him behind his back as he left, finaly turning back towards Shin.

Vindicator scaled the juggernaut as she looked over beause she wasn't that tall, observing while Shin put Kujo's named plate inside the box.

May 29th, Stellar year 2148. Among the wall where drawings of the spearhead unit's handlers were attached to, a new drawing found itself taped there. A drawing of a pig inside a dress.

"Ready... Go!" "Got it!" "Yes!" Voices echoed on as Haruto and the gang threw balls around, playing dodgeball. While Shin and Vindicator sat together, with Shin reading a book, and Vindicator gently brushing hair.

When suddenly, static and distorted voices entered Shin's head as he suddenly looked towards his left where he found Vindicator no longer caring about TP, her gaze focused forward. "Damn it....!" She spoke in exasperation.

"There!" Daiya, placed a bucket filled with seemed to be oranges(?) on top of several other things in packaged boxes. "Big haul, huh?" Raiden asked as he picked up a date and munched on it, while Kurena did the same except it was just regular old berries, "We'll have party tonight!"

Kino.... Kino was just reading, ahem! A simple magazine, with a smile on his face while lettingg out strange laughter. "You good to go, Fido?" Raiden asked again, while Fido responded with a simple mechanical beep along with a small nod.

"This isn't bullying ok?" Daiya spoke as he stood beside the other three. "Beep!" Fido beeped. "No telling Shin." Kurena added, and Fido responded with a complex mix of 'boops' and 'beeps'. "Is that a yes, or a no?" Kurena asked as Kino continued his....strange laughter.

Suddenly, they connected to the others, surprising them. "You guys out on the walk, can you hear me?" Theo's voice rang out. "What's up, Theo?" Raiden inquired. "Weather report's changed," Theo spoke as everyone let out a surprised gasp. "Rain's coming."
