Soon the Knight that was sent to get Grandmaster Alden was back with Grandmaster Alden and his apprentices following him behind.

Grandmaster Alden was looking irritated by the fact that the Marquis family keeps disturbing him over irrelevant matters.

They knew that their first miss is already dead and it was obvious that she was tortured before she drowned in the pool.

There is no way the Marquez family can escape death so they have no choice but wrap to clean their neck for the emperor to cut for not protecting his finances properly.

Even if the emperor did not kill the whole Marquez family, the duke will definitely do so because everybody knows that Miss Amelia is the daughter of the duke's only daughter and also his only granddaughter.

The Duke family only has two females in the family tree which are Amelia and her mother Adonis and it's rumored that the Duke loved his daughter and granddaughter more than anything even more than his sons.

Everybody knows that marchioness Adonis's health is failing and that's already a big blow to the Duke and now the sudden death of his granddaughter will be a bigger blow.

The thought of seeing Marquez William's face again made Grandmaster Alden feel sick inside, he doesn't want to see the face of a scum that allowed his mistress and his illegitimate daughter to torture his daughter to death.

if many saw the way Marquez William was panicking in the morning, they will think it was because he was a caring father but Grandmaster Alden knows that it was only. After all, his life and death are tried with his daughter's life.

Artisans don't usually interfere in matters of the nobles because of how complex it usually is and if not careful, it can cause an artesian to lose their life but Grandmaster Alden can help but pity Lady Amelia.

when grandmaster alden entered the cellar that Lady Amelia use as her room, he was surprised to see marchioness Adonis sitting down on the bed beside her daughter while Marquez William was sitting down on a chair.

He was looking pale without his shirt on, his armor is slightly broken and there are traces of light and dark magic in the air.

This caused Grandmaster Alden to feel baffled because both Marquez William and Marchioness Adonis are not light and dark magic users.

The only person who has an affinity for dark and light magic in the Marquez family is Lady Amelia and she has already lost both her magic and her life.

"my lady, Grandmaster Alden is here" the voice of marchioness Adonis's maid pulled Grandmaster Alden out of his thought.

" Good, welcome Grandmaster Alden, can you please check on my daughter, I don't know what's wrong with my daughter, she just lost consciousness all of a sudden after using her powers," Marchioness Adonis said sounding worried.

This caused Grandmaster Alden further confusion because he couldn't understand what marchioness Adonis is saying. After all, Lady Amelia is already dead but he still decides to keep shut and move closer to Amelia who is currently laying down.

" How can this be," Grandmaster Alden said in shock, he was surprised to find out that the lady he declined dead about an hour ago is now breathing.

" How did this happen?" grandmaster Alden asked still feeling puzzled, marchioness adonis turned to Marquez William, expecting him to explain the scene to them since she is not there when the incident happened.

" not long after you left then all of a sudden a very bright light covered her then she woke up, but after confirming that there is nothing wrong with her then she attacks both her stepsister and stepmother with her dark magic, and when I tried to stop her, she attacked me too and when her mother stopped her she lost her conscious" Marquez William explained everything without excluding anything.

" hm...this is intriguing, my lady I won't lie, in all my years of healing I've never come across anything like this except if the dark mage from the dark church forcefully brings back the person's soul and we all know that it's comes with a heavy sacrifice," Grandmaster alden said with a troubled look on his face.

his face holds a hint of curiosity and amazement, he was intrigued by the mystery behind the dead Amelia who was brought back to life by an unknown factor.

" Why don't you allow me to do a full check on her," Grandmaster Alden said, and marchioness Adonis move away from the unconscious Amelia.

Grandmaster Alden made a few hands sign and soon a holy light covered him making him look like a sacred being with his white clothes and hair.

Slowly, he places his hand on Amelia's head gently, and the light soon covered her whole body making the whole scene look holy and sacred, no one dares to breathe too loudly because of the fear that they might interrupt Grandmaster Alden.

Soon the light dimmed and everyone is looking at Grandmaster Alden with expectations in their eyes but they can see that Grandmaster Alden appears to be even more shocked than before.

" congratulations my lady, lady Amelia's broken soul is now completely healed," Grandmaster Alden said with excitement showing in his tone.

"Really! But how?" marchioness Adonis said feeling baffled by the Miracle that is happening to her daughter.

" the only thing I can think of is Lady Amelia's powers, lady Amelia is a duo mage with light and dark magic, and light and dark magic is affiliated with life and death so this might have one way or the other allowed her to cheat death twice" grandmaster Alden said with a fascinating look in his eyes as he looks at the sleeping Amelia.

" so that's it, but why did she lose consciousness again" Marquez William was the one who talked this time around.

" well lady Amelia's soul just get back from the netherworld so her soul is overfilled with the chaotic mana from the underworld and this made her power, especially the dark magic stronger"

" but using her magic immediately after coming back from the netherworld when the chaotic mana from the netherworld is yet to settle down and mix with her mana caused her mana veil to be injured and which caused her to lose consciousness" Grandmaster Alden explained, answering their confusion.

" All that's left is for us to heal her mana veil and after that Lady Amelia will be as healthy as any other mage," Grandmaster Alden said.

" then what next, quickly heal my daughter," Marchioness Adonis said excitedly.

Grandmaster Alden was once again covered in a holy light, he holds Amelia's hand and start to heal her mana veils, after about thirty minutes, the light finally dimmed, and Grandmaster Alden drop Amelia's hand.

He was sweating profusely, and his leg feels weak but he still tried to stand up straight, healing Amelia's mana veil took a ton out of him but he still stand strong like a professional healer.

" my lady, lady Amelia's mana veil is completely healed, all that is left for her is for the chaotic mana in her body to settle"
