Chapter 55: The Hidden Soul

In Sasuke's shadow dimension, his misty form coalesced into a solid presence. "My liege," greeted Igris with utmost respect. Sasuke nodded, acknowledging the commendable job Igris had done protecting Kyoto in his absence. "You did great protecting Kyoto while I was away," Sasuke commended. Igris, still kneeling, replied humbly, "It is an honor to fulfill your orders, my liege."

Sasuke took a moment to consider his next course of action before speaking again, "I will be sparring with you soon to help you break through from Super rank. I will also introduce you to my family soon." Igris looked up, his eyes gleaming with gratitude, "I'm elated, my liege, that you were able to revive your family." Sasuke's lips curved into a small smile, "Me too, Igris. I am happy as well."

Pausing for a second, Sasuke added, "I have some tasks I want you to redistribute to the shadow soldiers later." Igris replied dutifully, "I will obey, my liege."

Sasuke gestured for Igris to follow as he walked towards the white ball, the container of the True Longinus sacred gear. "I will be separating whatever is trapped within that sacred gear. Protect me if anything goes out of the ordinary." Igris nodded in acknowledgment, as he was aware of what happened when his King received the Annihilation Maker.

Standing in front of the True Longinus, Sasuke scrutinized the object keenly. His gaze narrowed with a mix of confusion and annoyance, "Whatever is trapped inside there seems rather annoying." He had a premonition that whatever he was about to do would undoubtedly bring further annoyances into his already eventful life.

He sighed, "Having stayed in this world for two years, I learned most of the important events. The deaths of the four original Satans, and knowing that the Biblical God is injured and in seclusion after he sealed Trihexa but I am certain this guy is dead. The angel faction have grown exceedingly secretive since then."

In his mind, Sasuke devised a plan and thought, 'I will have Shisui infiltrate the church and use Komatsukami. We need spies in other factions to confirm matters related to the Biblical God."

Hesitating for a moment, Sasuke gazed at the white orb, realizing that he also needed a new weapon since his Kusanagi had been destroyed in his previous fight. Determined, he channeled chakra into his Rinnesharingan, preparing himself for the task at hand.

With resolute determination, Sasuke reached out and grabbed the white orb, activating the Human Path. A brilliant white light radiated from the orb as he desperately attempted to extract the trapped soul within it. Realizing the need for more power, Sasuke infused shadow-like tendrils with additional chakra, resulting in a fierce tug of war between the souls and the sacred gear.

His face contorted with annoyance, Sasuke activated Naraka Path behind him. The combined usage of his powers enabled him to successfully extract a white soul from the orb. The soul shone brilliantly in the air, appearing to reshape itself into a human form.

"Fuck," Sasuke couldn't help but mutter in response to the challenge. To prevent any unforeseen consequences, he manifested a multitude of shadow chains. Igris was already prepared, infusing his own power into the chains. Together, they deftly directed the soul towards the King of Hell's mouth.

As the soul disappeared within the King of Hell, Sasuke caught a glimpse of a man with blond hair. The mouth of the King of Hell closed, leaving the man gazing directly at Sasuke. He realized it was indeed the Biblical God.

Sweat formed on Sasuke's forehead as he observed the man's gaze. Hoping to avoid any grudges, Sasuke placed a hand on his face, contemplating, "Luckily, Naraka Path can store souls. I will talk to him later. I don't want my mother to be upset."

Understanding the annoyance that would come with confronting the Biblical God, Sasuke cursed inwardly. "At least his gaze was friendly when he looked at me. I hope he does not hold grudges."

Turning his attention back to the True Longinus sacred gear, Sasuke noticed its transformation. "Huh, I wonder why it is not a spear." The white orb was now half black, housing a sword within it. "It seems to possess both Holy and demonic energy."

Observing the King of Hell, Sasuke chose not to release the jutsu yet; he wanted to engage in conversation with the helper. "It seems he changed it for me. I feel like shit now."

Sasuke looked at Igris appreciatively. "Good job, Igris. I believe he's friendly, but caution is always necessary."

Igris replied with a bow, "Thank you, my liege."

Sasuke nodded, making a mental note. "I will be back later and create a new group of soldiers for a division in the ANBU. My cousin will be leading them."

With a swift transition, Sasuke faded and materialized at the entrance of Yasaka's home. He scanned the surroundings and noticed no one was outside. He quietly opened the door and heard voices emanating from the kitchen. Sasuke made his way there and found his mother happily helping Yasaka prepare breakfast.

As he entered the kitchen, Yasaka spotted Sasuke and joyfully leaped into his arms. "Morning, my love." Sasuke warmly returned the hug. "Good morning to you too. I see you're helping my mother." Yasaka nodded with a smile. "Yes, sit down, we're almost done."

Following Yasaka's suggestion, Sasuke took a seat and observed the morning activities. Soon, he made his way to where his father, Fugaku, Itachi, and Shisui were seated. Sasuke greeted his father, exchanging nods with him.

"The matter related to money will be solved soon," Sasuke assured. "The person helping me is a friend. Her name is Akira, and she has some dealings with the underworld." Fugaku acknowledged the information, continuing to read his newspaper.

Turning to Shisui, Sasuke reminded him, "Don't forget, Akira is coming to spar with you." Shisui's ears perked up in excitement. "Hehe, I will not forget. I'll also ask her if she's interested in ANBU."
