"How is it, Issei?" Raynare asked anxiously as Issei took a bite of the eggs and muffins, savoring the flavors.

"Surprisingly, it's good. Thanks for cooking," he said appreciatively, giving Raynare a nod of approval.

Raynare's face lit up with delight at his compliment, a satisfied smile forming on her lips. However, Irina's expression turned sour, her eyes narrowing as she watched the interaction unfold.

"I'm glad you like it. Try some of the fish omelets too! I wasn't sure what you liked, but I figured a dragon must like fish," Raynare suggested, placing some of the omelets on Issei's plate and serving herself as well. Meanwhile, Kalawarner ate her food silently, her gaze fixed on Irina and Xenovia.

Irina and Xenovia couldn't help but feel their hunger intensify as the aroma of the food wafted through the room. Raynare seemed to relish in their discomfort, intentionally eating her own portion at a leisurely pace.

A tense silence settled over the room as Issei and the fallen angels consumed their meals. Each person refrained from speaking, the underlying tension palpable. Sharp glances were exchanged, laden with animosity, as the four females engaged in a silent battle of wills.

Irina and Raynare, in particular, seemed to exude a deep-seated opposition towards each other, their gazes filled with disdain. Likewise, Xenovia and Kalawarner locked eyes, their silent standoff mirroring the tension between the others.

Sensing the discomfort of both Irina and Xenovia, Issei looked up at them, his gaze filled with empathy.

"May I ask something?" Irina finally spoke up, her voice laced with a mix of vulnerability and hunger.

Issei nodded, his expression attentive. "Sure, what is it?"

"Do you have any food in your kitchen?" Irina asked hesitantly, a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

"You two must be hungry, especially if you're low on funds, right? Feel free to help yourselves to my food. It seems like Raynare made enough for six instead of three," Issei offered generously, extending his omelets to Xenovia and Irina.

The tension in the room eased slightly as the possibility of a shared meal emerged. Irina and Xenovia exchanged grateful glances, their expressions softening with relief.

"Thank you, Issei," Xenovia said sincerely, her voice filled with genuine gratitude.

Irina echoed her sentiment, a grateful smile playing on her lips. "Yes, thank you. We appreciate your kindness."

With Issei's gesture, a small moment of harmony seemed to unfold amidst the lingering animosity. The prospect of breaking bread together offered a glimmer of hope that perhaps, despite their differences, they could find common ground.

"T-thank you, Issei Hyoudou," Xenovia said respectfully as she slowly reached out to take some of the food he offered her.

Irina, still recovering from the intense situation, hesitated for a moment before her hunger got the better of her, and she reluctantly took some of the food as well.

"God bless you, Issei," Irina said, bowing her head in gratitude as she began to eat.

The exorcist girls felt a mix of reservations and curiosity about eating something prepared by a fallen angel. Despite their initial doubts, the aroma and taste of the food proved too enticing to resist. They acknowledged Issei's offer, understanding that refusing his hospitality would only create further tension.

Xenovia, though still prideful, managed to express her appreciation in her own way. "Thanks for the food…it's been a while," she admitted, her voice laced with a hint of nostalgia.

Raynare, on the other hand, observed the exorcists indulging in the breakfast she had specifically prepared for Issei. A sense of annoyance flickered across her features as she watched them enjoy her culinary creation.

"You two look pitiful right now…eating the food I made for Issei," Raynare remarked, her tone tinged with a mix of frustration and disappointment. "You better have a good reason for being here."

Xenovia, puzzled by Raynare's actions, couldn't help but voice her confusion. "Why would you make him breakfast anyway? That doesn't seem like something a fallen angel would do. Your kind is known to be sadistic from what I've seen."

Raynare's expression darkened, her voice filled with indignation. "You exorcists are way worse than we are! What would you know about fallen angels? That we're all wicked, evil sinners? That we derive pleasure from torturing people?"

Xenovia, resolute, met Raynare's gaze, her voice firm. "I base my judgment on what I've witnessed and experienced firsthand. It is our duty as exorcists to eliminate any threats posed by fallen angels."

Raynare's retort faltered as Issei interjected, his voice laced with frustration. "Come on, Raynare…do you think I'm blind? Your actions speak louder than your words."

Raynare looked away, her face flushed with embarrassment. The reality of her taunting became undeniable as Issei called her out, and she felt a pang of remorse for her thoughtless behavior.

Issei sighed, his tone softer. "Look, I appreciate the effort you put into making breakfast, but let's focus on resolving the tensions between us rather than exacerbating them, okay?"

Raynare nodded, her gaze filled with remorse. "You're right, Issei. I apologize for my actions."

The atmosphere in the room began to shift, as the initial hostility and misunderstandings were gradually giving way to a glimmer of understanding and the potential for reconciliation.

Xenovia looked at the black-haired woman stoically, refusing to back down. "I know enough about fallen angels. I know that you're selfish and vile creatures who shunned God's rule. And now I also know that you're petty sadists and liars too," Xenovia replied, her voice carrying a mixture of conviction and disdain.

Raynare, visibly irritated, rolled her eyes in response. "This is why I hate you sanctimonious, pious, bible-thumping morons. God wasn't all-knowing or all-powerful. Hell, he wasn't even stronger than the mightiest of the dragons. Keep your condescending attitude to yourself, exorcist. You don't know anything!"

Amidst the heated exchange, Kalawarner interjected, her voice tinged with curiosity. "Why are these two beggars staying at your home anyway? Are you helping them at all? What is their mission? Did they tell you?" Her eyes shifted between Issei and the exorcists, seeking answers.

"We're not beggars, you harlot," Irina protested, her tone filled with indignation.
