Apophis locked eyes with Odin, his silver gaze reflecting defiance and resolve. "Words have already failed here. Your kind brazenly attacked us, the guests within your own realm. The legends of Asgardian honor were clearly exaggerated and false. We dragons do not desire war with you gods, but we will defend our own. Allfather, this has nothing to do with you. But if war is what you desire, then war you shall have. We dragons will stand united, no longer to be hunted and purged by your kind."

With those words, Apophis turned away from Odin and followed Tiamat back towards Vali and Niðhöggr. Darkness shrouded Asgard momentarily as the dragons made their retreat, leaving the gods and warriors in awe of their immense power.

Soon after, light returned to Asgard, and Odin sighed heavily as he dismounted Sleipnir and made his way back into his Hall. Many of the gods approached him, seeking answers and offering their thoughts on the astonishing display of dragon might.

As Odin approached Hermes, the Greek Messenger god, he spoke with a mix of weariness and determination. "It seems you have your answer now, Hermod. Inform the Olympians and the Shinto Gods that Asgard will defend Midgard against this dragon threat."

Hermod nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "As you command, King Odin. By the way, some of the other pantheons have sent observers to Japan to watch for Ophis' return. Do you have anyone you can spare to send as well?"

Thor, ever eager for battle, stepped forward without hesitation. "Send me, Father. I will go and face this threat head-on."

Odin sighed, knowing the power and determination that burned within his son. "Very well, Thor Odinsson. Take Rossweisse with you."

Rossweisse, a Valkyrie with long silver hair and deep blue eyes, couldn't hide her surprise and apprehension. She spoke up, her voice filled with nervousness. "Wait, you want me to go, Lord Odin?"

Odin nodded, his expression serious. "Your magic will be of great assistance to Thor, and as the emissary to the Underworld, your presence in devil territory will not raise suspicion."

Rossweisse bowed her head, accepting her role in this dangerous mission. "I... I understand, Lord Odin. If it is your decree, I will go."

Thor crossed his arms, his concern evident. "What about Loki? He's tangled up in all of this... Where has he disappeared to?"

His question was swiftly answered as a battered figure stumbled into the hall. It was none other than Heimdall, barely managing to stay on his feet until Sif and Freyr rushed to his aid, guiding him further inside.

Heimdall winced in pain but mustered the strength to speak. "I tracked Loki before the arrival of the other dragons... He fled to the Underworld. Please forgive me, Allfather, for allowing those dragons to breach our defenses."

Frigga's compassionate voice broke the silence. "There is no need for such self-blame, dear Heimdall. Niðhöggr and Apophis are formidable adversaries, especially the latter, a Heavenly dragon of immense power. They overwhelmed you, but you have done your best."

Heimdall bowed his head, accepting her words with a mix of gratitude and regret. "Your grace, I meant the other two dragons. I should have recognized the trouble they would bring."

Thor shook his head, redirecting the conversation. "Heimdall, can you open a Bifrost portal to Japan within Midgard?"

"Yes, Thor. I can do that," Heimdall nodded, his determination resurfacing.

"Good. Rossweisse and I will travel there to watch over the Shinto lands. Your sight from above will be invaluable," the God of Thunder declared.

Heimdall acknowledged Thor's command with a solemn nod. "As you wish."

However, Freyr interjected with concern. "Let him heal first, Thor. He needs time to recover."

As the healing magic flowed through Heimdall, providing him relief, Hermes turned his attention to Odin. "Lord Odin, what will be your course of action in the meantime? Zeus and many of the Olympians have gone to consult with the Fates and the Titans."

Odin's voice resonated with authority. "I shall embark on a journey to the roots of Yggdrasil. Frigga shall assume leadership until my return."

Tyr, ever eager to support, stepped forward. "Allow me to accompany you, Father!"

Odin's gaze turned to Tyr, filled with a mixture of pride and caution. "No, Tyr. Remain in Asgard. All the gods must stand ready, prepared to ride into Midgard should the worst come to pass."

Tyr's face contorted with worry. "But what about Loki? We cannot allow him to hand over the Midgard Serpent to those dragons."

"Loki eludes our reach for now. He will reveal himself in due time, and you must all be prepared. I fear that Ragnarok may finally be upon us," Odin spoke with a sense of gravity before mounting Sleipnir and soaring off through Bifrost.

Thor turned his attention to Rossweisse, addressing her with determination. "Valkyrie, let us depart. The people of Midgard are in need of our protection."

"Yes, Lord Thor!" Rossweisse replied, bowing her head, ready to follow him.

Issei's Parent's House, Kuoh:-

After several trips to transfer Xenovia and Irina belongings, Issei returned to his parent's house. Ingvild had mentioned some suspicious activity in the nearby forest, but he trusted the girls to investigate it. Currently, he was back at the house for a final visit, setting up additional barriers and finalizing the security system connected to Irina's old residence.

Issei wanted to ensure the safety of his newfound home, leaving no stone unturned in his efforts. With determination in his eyes, he worked diligently, aware that the world around him was growing more perilous by the day.

Feeling a sense of accomplishment, Issei exhaled with relief. "Alright, my parents should be back tomorrow or the day after. This should suffice for now."

Ddraig chimed in with a suggestion. "I suggest you inform everyone else who frequently visits this place about your new address."
