Issei's outburst fell on deaf ears as Ophis redirected her attention to Vali. "I am unable to directly merge sacred gears... Can you utilize your Longinus to combine them and awaken Vritra?"

"Why am I the one who has to do it?" Vali questioned, a hint of reluctance in her voice.

"Altering sacred gears requires divine power. Both Albion and Ddraig possess stolen divine power from God. When you were confined within a Longinus, you retained this divine power. It enables you to absorb and manipulate sacred gears," Ophis explained matter-of-factly, shedding light on the mechanics.

'I never considered the possibility of merging sacred gears...' Issei pondered silently.

'I was aware of this, but it didn't seem relevant to mention. Theoretically, you could incorporate another sacred gear that you favor into the Boosted Gear. It's also why transferring works,' Ddraig chimed in, sharing his knowledge.

With a resigned sigh, Vali nodded. "I suppose I can do it, then..."

Issei and the others watched intently as Vali approached Saji. The sacred gear on his arm was now exposed, constricting him painfully with its dark magic. Vali activated a portion of her balance breaker and reached out to touch his arm.

Albion's voice resonated shortly after, "Awaken, Vritra!"

A surge of Vali's power engulfed Saji, causing the orbiting purple orbs to transform into other sacred gears. They immediately affixed themselves to various parts of Saji's body, eliciting agonized screams from him. Vali took a step back, observing as the metamorphosis slowly consumed Saji's form.

"ARGHHH! Issei, help me!" Saji cried out in pain as the dark magic completely enveloped him, revealing his scale mail balance breaker.

Vritra's voice emerged moments later, filled with confusion. "What the?! Where am I?!"

"Welcome back, Vritra. You were fragmented and sealed away for quite some time," Tiamat addressed him.

"What is this abomination?!" Saji demanded, his gaze darting around his newly acquired scale mail form. Although the pain seemed to have subsided, he remained in a state of hysteria.

Ophis channeled her magic into him, causing the scale mail to disintegrate and Saji to revert to his normal state. However, his gauntlet remained, and Vritra's voice echoed through it, laden with bewilderment. "This dark power... Is that you, Ophis? And... why are all of these dragons present?"

"Ophis is assembling an army of dragons. She has gathered four of the five fragments of your soul, scattered across the world, and merged them into sacred gears, combining them with this young devil in whom you now reside. He possessed the fifth fragment. You find yourself in a situation similar to Ddraig and me, Vritra," Albion explained, addressing the Dragon King.

"Albion... So you are involved in this as well? I appreciate being restored, but I assume this isn't merely an act of charity. You wish for me to join this dragon army, don't you?" Vritra inquired.

"Join us, Vritra. We are all following Ophis," Tiamat added, extending an invitation.

Vritra remained silent for a brief moment, his gaze sweeping across the assembled dragons. "But why?" he finally questioned.

"For the sake of our dragon kin's advancement! Ophis has granted us all incredible power!" Tiamat implored, attempting to sway her fellow Dragon King.

"Albion, Tiamat, and Ophis... aligned with the evil dragons? How peculiar..." Vritra mused aloud, his tone tinged with curiosity.

Tiamat shook her head, her expression earnest. "It's not peculiar, Vritra... We are finally coming together as kin instead of engaging in futile internal conflicts."

"And where is Ddraig in all of this?" Vritra countered, his curiosity unabated.

Albion swiftly provided an answer. "We are still searching for Ddraig... He has eluded us for the past century, as far as I can estimate."

"If Ddraig himself has no inclination to be involved, then why should I? I appreciate the restoration, but I fail to see the purpose behind your recruitment efforts. In my current state, I am not particularly useful," Vritra responded, his voice laced with skepticism.

'Why hasn't Ophis mentioned me or Great Red yet? Surely she can sense that power within you? Crom Cruach knows the truth as well. Why hasn't he divulged it to anyone?' Ddraig's thoughts brimmed with curiosity.

Issei momentarily glanced at Crom Cruach, contemplating. 'I don't know, but it's unlikely that Crom Cruach would keep such information from Ophis, even if she cannot sense it. Vali and Albion still seem unaware for some reason. Tiamat too. Is it possible that Ophis and Crom Cruach deliberately withheld this information?'

"What have you dragons done to me?!" Saji interjected abruptly, interrupting their conversation.

Vali calmly elucidated the situation for him. "We have bestowed upon you the other four Vritra Sacred Gears and transformed yours into a Pseudo-Longinus. This awakening has also roused the Dragon King Vritra, as all five fragments of his soul now reside within your being. Be grateful... You have become significantly stronger."

"I always suspected you two were trouble, but what's the purpose of amassing a damn dragon army?!" Saji demanded, his voice filled with frustration.

"So, this is my host, then? What is your name, devil?" Vritra inquired of Saji, breaking the brief, awkward silence that followed.

"Saji Genshirou... I am a low-class devil and a pawn of Sona Sitri," Saji replied, revealing his identity.

Ophis regarded him with an impassive gaze before speaking. "Henceforth, you serve under me... as does Issei Hyoudou."

"You're not compelling him or me to do anything, Ophis..." Issei retorted, striding over to Saji and motioning for him to step back.

Saji visibly relaxed, finding solace in Issei's support, yet also harboring concern that the delinquent dared to stand up to the other dragons.

The Dragon God tilted her head, observing him intently. "Do you object?"

"Damn right, I do..." Issei countered firmly.

"Then let us negotiate terms," Ophis replied in a detached manner.

'This is it, Ddraig! Prepare yourself... We are about to face the most formidable battle of our lives,' Issei's thoughts turned serious.

'Issei, do not act recklessly! You cannot take on all of them simultaneously! We are no match for Ophis, and if you attempt to confront more than two or three of the others at once, you will be swiftly overwhelmed!' Ddraig interjected, his tone laced with urgency.
