His mother's expression turned into a frown. "We rarely see you with friends or hear about what's happening in your life. It's as if you're never here, as if you don't want to be here. Why is that, Issei? Are we the problem? Is there a girl or some other issue? Are you in trouble? Please, son, you can confide in us. We're just concerned about your well-being."

"I'm honestly fine. I have various hobbies and interests," Issei attempted to explain vaguely, evading the specifics.

"What hobbies? Where do you go? We haven't heard of any clubs or activities you're involved in, and there have been rumors circulating that you're causing trouble at school. One of your teachers even inquired if you were recovering from an illness. Have you been skipping classes as well?" his mother inquired, her concern deepening.

"I'm not skipping. I still maintain the highest grades in my class, I believe. I simply engage in activities around town, like working on motorcycles and practicing martial arts. You know, typical hobbies. I assure you, it's nothing detrimental," Issei reassured them.

His father's brows furrowed in concern. "But where do you acquire all this money? How can you afford that motorcycle and all the things you generously purchase for us?"

"It's not as extravagant as it seems," Issei replied, shrugging nonchalantly.

His father shook his head and held up two plane tickets. "You bought us roundtrip tickets to a resort in Europe and even paid off my car. It's not something kids usually do for their parents."

"What your father is trying to express is our gratitude for the things you've done, but it's difficult for us to fully accept them when we hardly have a chance to connect with you, Issei. You don't need to buy us gifts to earn our love. We simply want to spend more time with you," his mother said softly.

Issei's relief washed over him as he realized the opportunity the tickets presented. "I understand, Mom. I just thought it would be a nice anniversary gift for both of you. Please, take the tickets and enjoy the vacation."

"We can't accept them unless we know how you were able to afford such a gesture," his father insisted.

"I've been working with an international group lately, repairing motorcycles for them. They compensate me generously for my services. Just take the tickets and enjoy your trip," Issei replied firmly.

His father sighed, seemingly resigned. "Well, if you insist. But why didn't you purchase a ticket for yourself?"

"I have my hands full with school and work. Speaking of which, I should get started on my homework," Issei replied, trying to divert the conversation.

"A-alright…we love you son. It's okay if you ever want to talk to us. We just want you to know we're here for you," his mother said somewhat emotionally as she moved to hug him.

After his heartfelt conversation with his parents, Issei felt a mix of emotions. He appreciated their concern and love, but he also yearned for the freedom to pursue his own path. Closing his bedroom door, he found solace in the privacy of his room.

'I should consult with Red about the Khaos Brigade,' Issei contemplated, his thoughts turning to the mysterious organization. He sat down on his bed, contemplating his next move.

"Be cautious, Issei. It's best to wait until the attention from Tiamat and Vali subsides before making any moves. You wouldn't want Tiamat to discover your identity as the Red Dragon Emperor," Ddraig cautioned.

"Damn it, I'm tired of all this. I miss the freedom of the Dimensional Gap, where I could release my frustrations without worry," Issei grumbled, feeling the weight of his responsibilities.

The next day arrived, and Issei's parents departed for their vacation. Though they initially expressed some reluctance due to the suddenness of the trip, Issei knew they would eventually enjoy their time away.

Riding his motorcycle to school, Issei decided to park it in a more appropriate spot. To his surprise, Tiamat and Vali were waiting near their own bikes as he arrived.

'Are they actually waiting for me?' Issei wondered, feeling a mix of curiosity and disbelief.

"Hey, Issei, took you long enough. Do you always have a habit of arriving five minutes before class?" Vali teased, letting out a laugh.

Issei shrugged nonchalantly. "Pretty much. I prefer to spend as little time as possible in this place."

"By the way, Issei, I meant to ask you yesterday, what kind of dragon are you?" Tiamat inquired as the three of them began walking towards the school building.

"Just a high-level flame dragon... nothing too extraordinary," Issei responded casually.

Tiamat looked at Issei curiously, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Hmm... Is Issei your real name?"

He nodded, not offering any further explanation. "Pretty much."

"I find it hard to believe that a flame dragon possesses the ability to transform and conceal their power. You're stronger than you let on," Tiamat commented, shaking her head in mild disbelief.

Issei shrugged, trying to downplay his significance. "Well, I'm just a nobody, really."

Vali observed him intently, her gaze piercing. "Hey, Issei... How would you like to meet Ophis? She has the power to make you even stronger, if you're interested."

'Here they go again, trying to entice me into joining the Khaos Brigade. They're really persistent,' Issei thought, feeling a mix of annoyance and caution.

'Technically, they haven't explicitly asked you to join, but their intentions are quite clear. And with Tiamat's personality, I'm not surprised at their persistence,' Ddraig remarked.

'It's not surprising that they're trying to recruit people for their faction, especially since Ophis sent them here to find a dragon. But if we meet Ophis, she'll immediately recognize me as the Red Dragon Emperor,' Issei contemplated, a sense of unease creeping in.
