After everyone signed the document and the meeting was officially adjourned, Riser was about to leave when Odin caught his attention.

"Riser, before you go, I'd like to have a word with you in private," Odin said, with a serious and penetrating look.

Riser, curious and a bit intrigued, stopped and turned to Odin. "Sure, Odin. What is it about?"

Odin gestured for Riser to come closer. "Let's talk in a more private area." They moved away from the others, finding a quieter corner in the conference room.

Only Rossweisse followed them as a bodyguard, while Sirzechs, curious but unable to stay to observe the conversation, left following Ajuka. Serafall, on the other hand, remained nearby, without any embarrassment about waiting.

Riser turned to Odin, intrigued. "What do you want, Odin?"

Odin looked at Rossweisse and then back at Riser. "I want to change bodyguards."

Rossweisse was indignant upon hearing this, her face contorting in a mix of shock and pain. "Odin-sama, what do you mean by that?"

Riser frowned. "And what does that have to do with me?"

Odin gave a theatrical sigh. "Times are tough for everyone. I was thinking if you might have a job for Rossweisse after her dismissal."

Riser laughed, understanding where Odin was going. "Ah, I see. Well, that's an interesting coincidence. I have someone in my Peerage who's recruiting. Rossweisse could join her Peerage."

Tears began to silently stream down Rossweisse's face, her eyes shining with sadness and disbelief.

Riser looked at her and, remembering the anime, tried to end the conversation quickly. "Once she joins my Bishop's Peerage, she won't have to worry about money. And, if she wants, I can be her boyfriend."

Odin smiled, satisfied with the terms. "That sounds fair."

Rossweisse continued to cry at Riser's words, feeling betrayed and desperate.

Odin called Rossweisse over to them. "Come here, Rossweisse."

She approached timidly, trying to hold back her tears.

Odin looked at her with disdain. "Meddlesome, you're fired. I'll hire a less serious woman who smiles more."

Irritated, Rossweisse responded, "You're a perverted old man! I quit!"

Odin smiled and shrugged. "I accept your resignation. Now she's your problem, Riser."

Riser casually nodded. He walked over to Serafall and whispered, "I'm counting on you."

Serafall nodded in confirmation, watching as Odin teleported away.

Serafall approached Riser and Rossweisse, who was looking at the spot where Odin had disappeared, with anger in her eyes.

Riser looked directly at Rossweisse. "So, Rossweisse, will you accept my proposal?"

Rossweisse frowned, confused. "Which one?"

Riser smiled slightly. "First, I want to know about you joining the Peerage. Then, we'll talk about the dating part."

Rossweisse blushed, surprised by the mention of dating, but nodded in agreement.

Serafall, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, intervened. "Do you plan to cheat on my sister right in front of me, Riser-chan?"

Riser laughed, shaking his head. "Serafall, you know I've always had a harem and will continue to have one. And Sona is aware of it."

Serafall huffed, pretending to be offended. "Whatever, Riser-chan."

Riser turned back to Rossweisse. "I'll take you to Merlin, and then we'll talk."

Serafall nodded. "I agree as well."

Riser suddenly hugged Rossweisse, making her scream in surprise, and teleported to Kuoh.

Serafall, now alone, gave a satisfied smile and teleported away.

Riser's Mansion in Kuoh

Riser appeared at the mansion, with Rossweisse still in his arms. As soon as they arrived, Rossweisse quickly stepped back, pointing her finger at him and accusing him. "That was harassment!"

Riser ignored her, focusing on Merlin, who was in the room.

Merlin raised an eyebrow curiously. "Who is she, Riser?"

Riser smiled. "Merlin, this is Rossweisse. She just got fired by Odin and is interested in joining your Peerage."

Rossweisse, still a bit flushed, looked at Merlin and made a small bow. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Merlin-sama."

Merlin looked at Rossweisse with interest, a smile forming on her lips.

Merlin gestured for Rossweisse to come closer. "Let's begin the reincarnation ritual, Rossweisse. This is an important moment."

Rossweisse nodded, nervous but determined. Merlin took out a crystal box, removing an Evil Piece, the Rook, intended for Rossweisse. She began chanting ancient words in a mystical language, and the room filled with an ethereal light and a palpable sense of power.

Rossweisse positioned herself in front of Merlin, closing her eyes and focusing on the energy around her. Merlin raised the Evil Piece and gently placed it on Rossweisse's chest, who felt the magic flow through her body.

The crystal's light intensified, enveloping Rossweisse in a brilliant aura. The magical energy seemed to pulse, connecting Rossweisse to Merlin's Peerage in a deep and irrevocable way. The sensation of power growing within her was unmistakable.

After a few moments, the light began to fade, and Rossweisse opened her eyes, now officially part of Merlin's Peerage as the new Rook. Merlin smiled, satisfied with the success of the ritual. "Welcome to my Peerage, Rossweisse. I'm sure you'll be a valuable addition."

Riser, watching the ritual with disinterest, leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. "Congratulations, Rossweisse. Now you're part of something bigger."

Kuroka, who was nearby, sighed and commented in a soft and nostalgic voice. "I miss Koneko, nya."

Riser looked at Kuroka and nodded. "When it's possible, I'll ask Koneko to come here."

Kuroka, overcome with happiness, threw herself into Riser's arms and gave him a kiss. "Thank you, Riser-sama, nya!"

Riser gently placed her back on the ground, a slight smile on his face. "No need for that, Kuroka. But I'm glad you're happy."

Kuroka smiled, her eyes shining with gratitude. "I'm very happy, Riser-sama. Koneko is my sister and I miss her, nya."

Merlin watched the interaction with an amused smile. "It seems the atmosphere here will become even more lively."

Rossweisse, still a bit dazed by the transformation and the warm interaction around her, tried to adapt to the new dynamics. "Thank you, Merlin-sama. I'll do my best."

Merlin nodded with a smile. "I'm sure you'll do an excellent job, Rossweisse."

Riser, observing the interaction, gestured for everyone to sit. "Merlin, you have a day to recruit whoever you want to complete your Peerage. Tomorrow, we'll start with our plan."

Merlin thanked him with a nod. "Thank you, Riser-sama. I'll make the most of this time."

Riser teleported away, leaving Merlin, Rossweisse, and Kuroka at the mansion. Merlin looked at the two with a determined gleam in her eyes. "It's time to recruit the Queen of my Peerage."

Rossweisse frowned, curious. "Who do you have in mind, Merlin-sama?"

Merlin smiled mysteriously. "Someone very special. Follow me, we have to go to where she is."

Merlin, Rossweisse, and Kuroka prepared and left the mansion, ready to find the next addition to Merlin's Peerage.
