[Auxiliary Chapter No.1] Information about Abilities and Items

Hello, everyone! How are you? This chapter is meant to explain some aspects of the system.

Functions will be explained as they appear in the story, so it will be updated over time.

First topic: Abilities.

This hasn't been explored much yet, and we're not very advanced, so I'll show 5 classifications of abilities.

It goes in this order:

Common Abilities: As the name suggests, these are common abilities that can be initial, like a simple [Cut]. If it levels up enough, it can become something like [Divine Skill: Sword God, Susanoo]. This doesn't mean they are the best, but with effort, they can reach high points. If you already have a [Cut] of [Rare Ability], it's better to level up the rare one.

Advanced Abilities: Here we enter the realm of abilities that the MC will prioritize using or leveling up at the beginning of the story. Why? Because they are of better quality and come with a slightly lower percentage than common ones. Having an Advanced ability, you won't use a Common one. These are abilities that can be obtained in the Gacha but can also be acquired by performing significant feats or undergoing an experience that affects the MC enough to grant an ability.

Rare Abilities: Here we find what could be the hidden card of some people. Rare abilities are quite rare, acquired either in the Gacha or through special circumstances. Here, we may find simple Devil bloodlines, or simple Naruto Kekkei Genkai, simple JJK Curses, etc. Like bloodlines, they can also be obtained under special circumstances, such as blessings from minor gods, etc.

Epic Abilities: Epic Abilities have a substantial impact on the story, as they are very rare to obtain and level up. These represent the hidden cards of powerful beings, such as Greater Gods, Super Devils, Strong Cultivators, etc. They signify a before and after for a character, as some of them even genetically change the user, improve them, grow a new limb, or make changes to their being, such as the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Legendary/Mythical Abilities: These touch the threshold of [Divine Abilities]. They are generally linked to the main Heroes or Gods of a Pantheon, such as [Excalibur's Will], which could be an ability that those of the Pendragon lineage could obtain, or those who completely master [Excalibur]. These abilities are very few compared to the diversity of the previous ones but can also be obtained by evolving [Epic Abilities].

Innate Abilities: These are not above Legendary, but are placed here because some are at the same level or even surpass Legendary. These vary a lot since they depend on the individual and the race. Suppose you are very intelligent, with an IQ much higher than average. Then, you automatically have the [Innate Ability: Genius]. However, this won't be stronger than a Legendary. After all, a simple [Snake Gaze], and it turns to stone. I'm probably explaining it poorly because I don't know how to explain it better, but let's say that some are trash, like [Whisper Expert], which allows you to manipulate your whisper so that only the person you want can hear it, even if they are right in front of you, a few centimeters away. Or it could be [Predator], which grants great hunting talent.

I won't show more abilities here because it wouldn't make sense to reveal them yet, as their descriptions would give away small spoilers.

Here, I'll address some questions that I think you might have.

How does an ability evolve?

Simply put, when it reaches the maximum level of 100, a mission arises that varies in difficulty according to the quality of the ability. The result of this mission, as well as the actions of the bearer of the ability, will affect the resulting ability of the evolution.

Suppose we have the ability [Fire], which grants complete control of flames to its bearer.

If this person is dark, it could lead the ability to [Hellfire, Amaterasu], or if they lean towards healing with flames, [Phoenix Rebirth], which allows healing with its flames, as well as resurrection. Yes, resurrection.

(There are also sets of skills that can be combined/merged)

(For example, if someone possesses the skills [Ice] and [Shape Manipulation], they could combine them to develop a unique ability like [Frigid Crystallization], allowing them to create ice structures with specific shapes. These combinations are usually unique to each individual, depending on the skills they have acquired and how they choose to combine them.)

Regarding items, the classification is the same (too lazy to write at the moment).

I hope this explanation has been helpful, and if you have any doubts, you can leave them in the comments! I put a lot of effort into creating this ability system, so I hope it's well understood!
