Fanon Troupes

Hello there, welcome to the rant of today. And as the title says, we will be talking about the generic troupes used across all DxD fanfics, some I have already addressed in previous rants so I'll just mention them. Ready? Well, here we go:

--Stray Devil Mutation: I already addressed this one before, so not much to add other than the fact it is a favourite of those authors that want to bash Devil faction. But seriously, if you want to hate the devil faction, no need to make up some fanon reason to do so, you can actually hate the normal canon Devil faction, and you kinda should, as it sucks ass.

--Devils having sins they need to satisfy: Ahhhh yes, this one is a classic. Some authors use it to justify any kind of OC behaviour they will force in the story or to make their mc's edgy.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'll sadly have to break it down for you, this fanon had litteraly no support or evidence in the original novel, it is just something someone came up with from their ass and everyone started treating it as canon.

--Kokabiel is Maou-class: For the life of me, I don't understand how can anyone say this with a straight face. I already addressed this one but safe to say, Kokabiel is just a messily Low-Ultimate class level.

Want to know why? Simple, see when Katarea and Shalba use Ophis snake, they are stated to be on the level of the original Maous, who are the litteral bench-mark for this lvl. And guess what? She is stronger than Base Azazel, who had to use his artificial Sacred gear Balance Breaker to have a clear win. It is sad, but it is just the truth, the Fallen are the weakest faction in DxD, period.

--Nekomata massacre: Now this one is just a treat, it is in the top 3 most beloved fanons ever. Like seriously, why do people think this can be canon? There is litteraly nothing that mentions any kind of massacre, nothing. Nada.

--Gremory's "Luck" power: I saw this one had a fairly big follow as if it is canon. Well, sorry to break it out for you again, but that is simply not the case.

In fact, Gremory's power has a bigger probability of being Chamel taming than whatever this luck power is. Don't believe me? Well, just remember that Furcas' bloodline ability is horse taming, and Gremory's weren't actually that amazing before Sirzechs. Also, they have Demonic Chamels since the times of the First Gremory, Runeas. Her chamel is around Ultimate class. Yeah.

--Zekram is the hidden ruler, Maou's are his bitches: Well, this one is funny if a bit complicated. See, Zekram indeed has a big political influence, but that doesn't mean he can face off against all Maou's influence, no. Zekram's influence is said to be greater than that of only one Maou's, not all of them combined.

Still, that is an impressive feat nonetheless. For those wondering, here is the statement:

After all, he is a man who has been watching over the Underworld ever since the birth of Devils. The years he has lived are far different to us. --Noble and reincarnated Devils are about to go in a civil war, need help: This one is also just straight out of the fandom's ass. Sure, the reincarnated Devils aren't treated as good as Noble Devils, but that is simply normal. How are you supposed to treat an immigrant better than your original citizens? That is simply dumb. Also, reincarnated Devils are nowhere near enough to cause any kind of friction or coup d'etat.

--Fallen angels are OP, they are the strongest faction: First of all, to the people who believe this,  are you guys retarded? What gave you the impression that they are the strongest faction when we see their leaders gets beaten up by just about everyone? And their Cadres get stomped by a casual hit from someone like BxB Vali?

First things first: No, the Fallen aren't the strongest of the 3 factions. They are in fact, the weakest of the 3 factions  and here us why:

1-They have the lowest numbers among all factions. Like seriously, the Fallen are the least populated.

2-They have the weakest leadership among all 3 factions. Like, come on, you guys know that Fallen, like Devils and Yōkai, are weak to Holy energy right? I'll make another rant about that for those who don't know. But anyways, with just that in mind, we can see why any Pure Angel will be stronger than a Fallen angel of the same number of wings.

Why did I mention this? Simple, Heaven have 10 Seraphs, 4 of which are called the Great Seraphs, and you see, all of those 10 Seraphs are 12 winged angels. Don't believe me? Here we go:

Yeah, I want to kill myself and Ishibumi when I read this. But anyways, there you go, One of the Seraphs with 12 wings, that isn't the 4 great Seraphs.

Not convinced yet? Well, in one of his blogs on twitter, DxD author mentions all 6 other Seraphs, saying that both Metraton and Sandalphon are twin Seraphs with 12 wings.

So yeah, Heaven has 10 angels that are stronger than the Fallen leadership, who only have 8 Cadres, 2 of which defected, and Azazel. Moving on:

--Shinto God are so OP, threatened Devils and shit: Sighhhhh, God help me with this people. Alright, alright. How did you guys assume that these people are, well, anything, despite the fact that there exactly 0 actual information about them? Like really, 0. And how are they threatening the Devils Exactly? You do know that Shinto have no one in the Top 10 right? While the Devils have Sirzechs and Ajuka in the top 10. So yeah, it will be a massacre on the Shinto side.

Fun fact, The reason why Shinto gods don't appear in DxD is because, appreciate Ishibumi doesn't want any kind of problems from the local population if they feel offended by his depiction of them. A stupid reason, as we all know how many anime, mangas and novels depicting them with no problems.

--Twice Critical made from Draig Flesh: Well, this one is a good "theory", but it is just that, theory. We don't really have any evidence that it is true. All we know is that Twice Critical is dragon type, if it houses the soul of a dragon or Draig flesh, no one knows, so don't go around saying it's canon, it's not. It is a good "theory", but just that.
