It's been a week since me and the others arrived at my newly assigned territory, nestled around the majestic Great Lake Tlaga.

This expansive body of water marked the border between the Devil's and the Fallen Angels' region, making it a strategically significant location.

The lake's crystal-clear waters shimmered under the sunlight, reflecting the surrounding lush forests and towering mountains.

The area was both beautiful and foreboding, a place where the tranquility of nature was juxtaposed against the tension of territorial boundaries.

My territory's development was already well underway, thanks to the diligent efforts of Ost-san, who had been appointed as the main supervisor and my regent.

Ost-san, with her meticulous planning and unyielding dedication, had mobilized a small but efficient workforce to begin the construction of essential infrastructure.

Roads were being laid, and foundations for key buildings were being set.

The hum of activity was a constant reminder that this wild and untamed land was slowly being transformed into a hub of civilization and power.

At the moment, I stood on a hill overlooking the construction site, feeling a mixture of pride and apprehension.

This was my territory, my responsibility.

The weight of it pressed on my shoulders, but I also felt a surge of determination.

Because I was not alone in this endeavor.

My family, friends, and allies were with me, and together, we would turn this place into a stronghold.

"Everything seems to be progressing smoothly."

Ost-san remarked, approaching me.

Her voice was calm and reassuring, a stark contrast to the frenetic energy of the workers below.

I nodded slightly.

"Yes, thanks to your efforts, Ost-san. I appreciate your hard work."

Ost-san smiled slightly.

"It is my duty and honor to do this, Rey-san. However, we must remain vigilant. This region is not without its dangers."

"Yeah. But I'm sure you're more than enough to handle it."

I said remembering the small incident where a group of 'pests' ambushed us which happened while we newly arrived here.

When I thought about that the one who sent them, suddenly a magic circle appeared followed by the appearance of a familiar figure, Mephisto-jiisama.

Mephisto-jiisama, with his usual enigmatic smile, approached us.

His presence was always an event, heralded by a subtle shift in the atmosphere, as if the very air acknowledged his arrival.

"Mephisto-jiisama."

I greeted him respectfully.

"What brings you here today?"

I asked him.

Mephisto's eyes twinkled with amusement.

"Ah, Rey. It seems like the development here is progressing nicely. But I'm not here just to check on it. Today, I have something important to inform you."

Mephisto-jiisama said while overlooked the construction site below.

"Hm? Is it about the one we talked before?"

I asked while raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

Previously, Mephisto-jiisama asked me if I interested to make a pact with a magician and I didn't mind with it.

Mephisto's smile widened.

"Exactly. And for that, I will take you to the Grauzauberer Magician Association's headquarters in Las Vegas. She's there and ready to complete it."

My curiosity piqued.

I had heard of the Grauzauberer Association, an organization known for its vast knowledge and powerful magicians but I never thought that the HQ is at Las Vegas.

But if considering with that city's reputation as the Sin City, I guess it's not really strange either.

I looked at Ost-san, who nodded in approval.

"You can leave this place to me."

Ost-san said with an assuring smile that she'll manage and guard my territory without worries.

I nodded slightly to her and back to ask Mephisto-jiisama.

"Very well.... When do we leave?"

"Immediately,"

Mephisto-jiisama said.

"We will take a specialized train that will transport us from the Underworld to the Human World."

Ah.

I've heard about that train before.

I heard it's one of few legal means to enter or leave the Devil's territory in the Underworld.

I heard if people not using legal access at least once so that their identification and data confirmed and registered, they'll be charged for illegal intrusions and punished.

But because in my territory there's still no station for that magic train, we'll first teleport to the Capital and go to the Central Station which is there.

After confirmed the plan to leave, Ost-san, Mephisto-jiisama, and I left the hill and go to the temporary residence where Sakuya-san and the others are.

Then I quickly gathered Sakuya-san and others in the living room and told them about the plan to leave.

"Understood, Rey-sama. I will prepare for it."

Sakuya-san, ever calm and composed, then left the room to do preparation for the leave without a moment's hesitation.

"Hmm~.... I wonder how's the human and their civilization in this world."

Kulshedra-san, as usual in her humanoid form of a mature black-haired woman with horns and tail, appeared equally eager, her eyes reflecting a sense of excitement.... And..., surely I hope she didn't talk about civilization and excited because she's interested to do her "job" in this world too.

".... I wonder how far is the change after two thousand years."

Scathach-sama also looks interested to see the development of civilization after two thousand years.... Even though I'm sure she didn't forget that this world is actually different than the world where she comes from.

After we finished preparation to leave, we gathered in front of the temporary residence.

"Ost-san, we leave it to you."

I said to Ost-san because she won't come with us to the surface and probably we will leave for quite long because the plan is not only to do the pact with the magician Mephisto-jiisama recommended but after that we also planned to go to Nagano, Japan where my secondary territory is and live there for a while.

"You can count on me."

Ost-san said with a smile to us as if she assured us that we can leave the tasks to manage, develop, and guard this territory, our home, to her without worries.

We nodded to each other and then Mephisto-jiisama flicked his fingers and then a magic circle appeared on the floor.

And after it glows brightly, we teleports away.

After we teleports, apparently Mephisto-jiisama decided for us to directly arrived at the Station because when I opened my eyes I saw a marvel of magical engineering combined with modern-classical architecture.

And I also saw the specialized train awaited us. Its sleek design and glowing runes a testament to the combined technological and magical prowess of the Underworld's finest artisans.

"Let's get on."

Mephisto-jiisama said and then we move aboard.

As we boarded the train, I couldn't help but marvel at its interior. The cabin was luxurious, with plush seats and an array of amenities that made it clear this was no ordinary mode of transportation.

But I'm confused about something since we arrived at this station.

"Why is it so quiet?"

I said as I wondered about the empty seats and the quiet platform outside.

"Mahaha.... That's because we are the only passenger today. This station or this platform more exactly is a private and specialized section only for those with high statuses."

Mephisto-jiisama said with a smile.

"I see...."

I nodded slightly.

Mephisto-jiisama then led us to a private compartment, where we settled in for the journey.

And not long after we sat in the compartment, someone who's I guess a train conductor arrived.

"Good day, Lord Pheles, Lord Rofocale, and Ladies. Welcome to the Underworld Railway. My humble self is the conductor of this train. Pleased to meet you all."

The conductor said smilingly while taking off his hat and bowed slightly to us.

"Mm. How long until we departs?"

Mephisto-jiisama and I nodded slightly to him and he asked the conductor.

"The train will departs in fifteen minutes, Sir."

The conductor answered while looking at some kind of smart tab in his hands.

"Anything else, Sir?"

The conductor asked.

Mephisto-jiisama shakes his head to the sides slighty.

"No. Just finish the procedure."

Mephisto-jiisama said.

"Yes, Sir.... Please excuse me."

The conductor answered Mephisto-jiisama and then he does something like taking pictures of each of us except Mephisto-jiisama with his tablet.

But I and the ladies are not surprised or offended by that because Mephisto-jiisama already told us before that it was the procedure to confirm our identities and register us in the department of immigration-like's database.

And after he's done taking our pictures, he smiled to us.

"The identities already confirmed and registered. Thank you for your cooperation, Lord and Ladies. Please enjoy your journey."

The conductor said and then he again takes off his hat and bowed slightly to us. And after that, he left the compartment.

And then about fifteen minutes later, the train started to move slowly with a gentle hum.

I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.

This journey was a significant step to the new phase of life, but I'm ready to face whatever lay ahead.
