Chapter 11

"Tch, this is getting nowhere." Zadkiel said with displeasure as he was in his office.

After he managed to get the information from Lilith he has been trying to get information from Samael. But the angel is keeping his mouth shut about it and was starting to question him instead.

"Because Lilith proclaimed that she was the one who did it the angels aren't that thrilled with her. But her young age helps somewhat. But how will I get him to talk?" Zadkiel asked himself as he rubbed his chin in thought.

As he was thinking that the door to his room opened which caught his attention. He saw as a lesser 6 winged angel entered the room and kneeled in front of him.

"Greetings my Lord, I have come from the border." The angel said to him while kneeling.

"What is it?" Zadkiel asked him.

"It's the children of Chaos my lord, they are starting to act strange." The angel said to him.

"How strange?" Zadkiel asked him seriously.

"Unlike before the number of Titans at the border have increased. It also has been noted by the other angels that they seem to be spying on us. We are not sure but that is what the angels say." The angel said to him.

"Hmm, alright keep on watching and increase the number of angels stationed there. Always stay alert and if you think there is something wrong then immediately inform me. Is that understood?" Zadkiel asked him.

"Yes my Lord, I shall do as you say." The angel bowed before he left the room.

Zadkiel watched the angel leaved before leaning on his chair as he has a thoughtful look on his face.

'Things are getting more heated. According to the pact they are not supposed to act but since it is only between the very first Primordial's, as their offspring or descendants they might not have to follow it. But if that's the case then Father can't interfere as well.' Zadkiel thought to himself.

He mulled over the information in his mind before he opened his eyes with a serious look.

"For now I should inform Father about this. He must've seen this but it won't hurt to tell him, there's also the chance I might meet the other archangels and inform them as well." Zadkiel thought to himself as he stood up and got ready to teleport out of there.

As he unfurled his wings and was about to teleport a wave of energy went through his room as he stopped himself. His eyes widened when he felt it and he wasn't the only one as all of Heaven and the other pantheons felt the same wave as well.

'This feels just like when Ouranos was killed. That means another primordial has been killed but from which pantheon?' Zadkiel thought to himself as he teleported out of his office in a flash of light.

He then appeared in the Seventh heaven as he watched as his fellow archangel's also appeared around him with a flash of light. Michael and Raziel were already in the throne room as the others appeared as well. They all had serious faces as they appeared in the throne room. Azazil and Azariel stood to Zadkiel's left while Gabriel stood to his right. Asbeel glanced at them along with Penemue before they looked at God.

"Father, which God was killed this time?" Raguel asked him.

"It was the primordial Abzu. It would appear that he was killed by his children just like Ouranos." God said to them.

This caused the archangels to gain nervous looks on their faces. Zadkiel gave a discreet glance at Helel and saw what seemed to be a small smirk on his face. He narrowed his eyes when he saw it and glanced at the girls beside him and noted that they were talking amongst themselves when they heard the news from God.

"Things will surely start to aggravate at this. With both Ahura Mazda and Angra Mainyu fighting with each other, Kronos and his rule, the Rishi Kashyapa's children, the children of Ometeotl and now this. I'm not sure what the future will bring father." Michael said to God.

"Hmm, maybe so, but I can't interfere with those things. As I had told you before, we first Primordial's had made a pact that we won't interfere with the affairs of each other. As such I am unable to do anything in the matter." God said to him.

"But surely we will be alright won't we? After all, the angels of Heaven are united as one." Raziel said to him.

Zadkiel sent a nervous glance towards Helel and Samael when he heard what the scribe said. He watched around him as his fellow archangel's were nodding to his words which also included the three females beside him.

'I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from Gabriel and my two little sister's.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he looked at them.

He then also remembered the distress at the border facing the soon to be Greeks and knew that he has to bring it up to the attention of the angels and God.

"Father, there is also a matter that I wish to tell you all here." Zadkiel said grabbing the attention of the archangels present.

"What is it brother Zadkiel?" Remiel asked him curiously.

The other angels were also looking at him curiously as well.

"Not too long ago an angel stationed at the border of heaven facing the land of the Primordial Chaos had come to my office to inform me that the amount of Titans at the border has increased and that their behaviour has become odd." Zadkiel said to them.

This immediately got the attention of the archangels present while Helel rasied his eyebrows in interest when he heard it. God meanwhile has a calm face as he heard it.

"Are you saying that they might be planning to attack us?" Azazil asked him.

"I'm not sure, but I did tell the angel to increase the number stationed there and to always be vigilant." Zadkiel said to them.

"That is a wise decision. Make sure that you're always hearing from the border and stay vigilant." God said to him.

"Yes Father, I shall see to it." Zadkiel said to him.

"But what shall the rest of us do now father?" Gabriel asked God as she and the other archangel's looked at him.

"For now proceed with your duties. But you should always be ready in case something were to happen." God said to them.

"Yes father." The archangels said in unison.

"Good, then beside from Zadkiel I want all the other archangel's to leave the throne room." God commanded to the angels.

The angels teleported away the next moment as now God and Angel were the only ones left in the throne room.

"So what do you think of this Zadkiel?" God asked as he looked at the black haired archangel.

"I think it will be beneficial for us if we pay more attention to Kronos and the movement of the Titans." Zadkiel said to him.

"I think that as well, that child despite being young and only ascended to kingship has too much arrogance. Too much of his arrogance will blind him of his enemies." God said to him.

"And we are the enemies he is blinded to, aren't we?" Zadkiel said to him.

God just smiled at him which caused Zadkiel to smile as well before he bowed to him.

"I'll go back to my office." Zadkiel said to him.

"Take care son. Also, be sure to take nice care of your youngest sister." God said with a smile.

Zadkiel smiled before he teleported away in a flash of light.

*At Mount Orthys*

"I want the preparations complete as soon as possible!" Kronos roared at his Cyclops and Hekatonkheires siblings as they worked in the forge.

Kronos looked at them working and nodded to himself and then started to clean his precious scythe. The servants were looking at his weapon with awe and fear and at its wielder with even greater fear. Kronos was currently at the throne room as he was sharpening his scythe.

"Kronos." The sound of a woman was heard.

Kronos turned around at the voice and saw the woman walk towards him.

"Ah my wife Rhea, what brings you here?" Kronos asked joyfully.

The now identified Rhea just gave a small smile his way. She is without a doubt a beautiful woman, a beautiful face with a fair skin, long and lush blonde hair which reached her waist, red lips and light green eyes. She also has a very nice body as she is also wearing a dress which made her half naked which wasn't a surprise since most of the people in their lands were half nude. (A/N: She looks like Rhea from Legend of the Cryptids. I found the image while searching and decided to use it.)

"I just wanted to know. Are you sure you should be doing this? The God of Heaven is someone who has existed alongside Lord Chaos himself, should you really attack him?" Rhea asked him worried.

Kronos regarded her question as he cleaned his scythe before looking at her with a smile.

"He may be of the same time but he hasn't been able to give birth to a God or Primordial since a long time. A primordial like that is bound to be weak." Kronos said dismissively.

"But what if—" Rhea tried to protest.

"Are you doubting me?" Kronos immediately said as he saw her face.

"W-What? No, it's just, what you're planning to do, it is..." Rhea tried to say to him.

"I was the one who killed our father, I am the strongest in our lands and you doubt me, your king and husband!" Kronos said raising his voice at the end.

"N-No! I don't doubt you. I just wanted to make sure." Rhea said to him a bit scared.

Amongst the children of Ouranos and Gaia, Kronos is the one with the worst temper, which also compared with his bold and ruthlessness made him the most feared amongst them despite being the youngest. It was also because of this ruthlessness that he was able to raise his weapon against his father Ouranos. Even Rhea, his wife is scared of his temper.

"Good, then be prepared because I am going to bring heaven to its knees." Kronos said with a smile as he turned to look outside his palace.
