Chapter 8: Realization of Imagination

When the thunderstorms vanished, we sighed with relief as if we were uprooted by thorns. Hannah, Terrence, and Philip look outside if it's safe to go out. And when the weather is clear, they told to those citizens that they are free. that's all, their homes are ruined and flooded. Yes, they were grateful not all of them died in the said biggest storms but they have no place to live.

Eventually, even they're flooded and grateful, some families will become beggars. They no have food, even the house. There's no place to sleep.

After the crisis, they knew that is safe. But still, I wonder why this kid has a kind of that power? or it's just that maybe there's something that I should know? I kept thinking about it when Hannah approached me said that the mother they found wanted to talk to me. So I followed Hannah to talk to the mother.

"here he is ma'am. I'll wait for you outside the shelter Philip" Hannah says I nod then she waves her hands as a sign of goodbye.

"what do you want to talk about ma'am?" Philip asking the mother.

"I just want to say thanks for saving my son. I mean they told me how you found my son" the mother spoke as she turns her gaze on me.

"oh about that ma'am, Uhh... It was just a guess?" I didn't answer her the truth, how I knew where to find his son. Until o remembered something.

"Uhh, I want to ask something first ma'am if it's okay?" I asked.

"Sure what is it?" she replied with a smile.

"about this thunderstorm, I know this may sound crazy but I want to know if there's something related to your son about the storm? I mean--"I stopped from thinking how to say the right words for me to know if his son has a power. I don't know what will she says if I said about his son's power, or maybe she burst her laugh because of what I've said.

"uhh... nevermind ma'am, it was nothing actually" I added then smiled back at her.

"Ohh... Uhh, Okay.." she replied then I bid my goodbye to her and went outside the camp after we talked.

Hannah and Terrence approached me and they say that we should go now. I nod at them and we bid our goodbyes to all citizens.

We came back to our homes and back to normal our lives. I study and work on the same day. Time passes by and it's almost a week when it happens. And it seems that they already recovered from the thunderstorm. Later on, I just realized that I can change someone's destiny.

I mean when I looked to others and imagining something like, it had a relationship but found out that he or she is cheating but its partner doesn't know that they are cheating. So I imagine that their partners caught them in the act of cheating and it works. Made their partner broken. I know cheating is bad, and if you're in a relationship you should not take advantage of your partners, that you should not cheat on them. Because if you cheat, karma retaliates against you. You will just experience how painful that is.

Well, to be honest, I've never been in a relationship, date someone, or in love with someone. I mean I'm not that too confident for this kind of relationship. I don't want to commit that fast.

Meanwhile, Hannah and Philip were eating lunch when Terrence suddenly entered the cafeteria and whispering to Philip's ear.

"We need to go to the rooftop, there's something I want to show to you and Hannah," he said. I look up to her to say that Hannah and I should go to the rooftop. After she understands what I signal her thru to our eyes. She nodded as a response. And we headed to the rooftop to see what Terrence want to show us.

"listened carefully to the news" Terrence spoke as he put up his phone and look for the news.

In this report, there's something strange in the city. The birds starting to fly whirling like was they're making tornadoes. When I was about to spoke when there's something flashed in my mind.

what if the tornadoes made of fire, water, and wind, then they hit the ground causing the citizens to be damaged?

The realization strikes me, how did I forget!? I imagined the tornadoes! It means it will happen in the reality. I should not think about that. What if the tornado strikes here in the city?

oh, shoot! Why do I have to think that?! I have to imagine not related to this or else we're doomed. And if that happens it's my fault.

I tried to think of something, but it's still coming to my head. That tornado doesn't disappear. It was like, it's hunting me to dream that tornado. I should stop thinking that.. or I might lose anyone.

Later on, the school bells ring that means it's starting afternoon classes. I, Hannah, and Terrence went down to the rooftop for us to had class. Before I got inside the room there's something that caught my attention outside the school. There was a woman, standing at the front gate of our school looking intently at me. She's strange because I have never seen her anywhere nor everywhere. And before I got to know her, she disappears I was shocked but before I make a move my professor noticed me and he wants me to go inside the room. I glance once again where I saw the woman but still, she's nowhere to be found. I immediately ignore her to forget about her I know she's nothing related to me, so she's not that important. I may be rude but what should I do with her? I don't even know her or maybe I will meet her one day. If that happens I should get ready for what would happen if we encounter each other, should I need to confront her?
