Zabini

"I'M A ZABINI????" I screeched at the top of my lungs to Severus Snape.

Snape had managed to survive Nagini and had resumed his position as Head of Slytherin House and Potions Master. Slughorn was glad by this as he could finally return to his peaceful retirement.

"Yes. You are. You will also be moving to Slytherin. Your luggage has been moved. The password is 'Ice Crystals'. Good day, Hermione," Snape said before retreating to his office.

I scowled slightly at the name. He had been calling me 'Hermione' instead of 'Miss Granger' for some time now and I finally knew the answer.

"Did Blaise know?" I screeched through the door dividing me from Snape's living quarters.

"Yes," he called back, "Please do not beat him up to badly. I rather need him for detention tomorrow."

I scowled again before leaving the office and slamming the door. I walked down the halls and stairs to the Slytherin House entrance. I was muttering myself and earned a lot of mental looks.

Upon arriving at the portrait of Salazar Slytherin that Snape instructed me to I said the password and stopped in.

"Granger? How'd you get in here? We don't need a Gryffindor, much less a muggleborn, roaming around here," Came the sneering voice of Malfoy.

"Fine," I said and pulled of my Gryffindor robes leaving me in my green long sleeved and black jeans. I threw the robes at him satisfied when they landed on his face, "If you don't want Gryffindors in here then get out, you've got the robes. Go run off to Potter and Weasley now."

"Oh shit!" Blaise exclaimed.

"I will kill you later, Zabini," I promised with a dark look.

"That fine," Blaise said in a quivering voice, "But I should tell you that you are also a Metamorphungus and its showing," Blaise said.

I shreiked before stomping through the door marked 'Girls Dormitories' in silver cursive.

"See you around Zabini," Blaise called to me.

At this I broke. I turned around, tears falling down my face and pointed my wand directly at his throat, trapping him in a corner.

"Call me that one more time, dear brother, and I'll make sure a knife going through your pathetic little heart is the last thing you see," I growled.

Luckily the only people in the room besides me and Blaise were Malfoy and Pugface.

I turned around tears falling freely to walk away, accidently letting lose a small sob. I was almost at the door, when two arms wrapped around my waist and picked me up. I turned my head to see a mop of silver-blonde hair.

"Put me down, Ferret!" I screeched.

"Sorry, bookworm, you owe us an explanation," he said sitting down and holding me firmly in his lap.

I relaxed to show him I wouldn't try to escape, but instead of letting me sit by myself, he just loosened his grip around my waist and relaxed.

"May I leave?" I snarled dangerously.

"Nope," Draco said playing with one of my girls, now red because of my anger.

"Draco?" Pansy asked as she noticed he had relaxed and was now acting as though it was normal for Hermione to sit in his lap.

"Yes?" He asked.

"What are you doing?" Blaise asked sitting on the opposite couch, next to Pansy.

"Keeping her from leaving," Malfoy answered.

"You could put a curse on her," Pansy said.

"Well first, she was crying and that would be really low, even for me, and second, this is just more comfortable." He stated as though it was obvious.

Pansy and Blaise exchanged a look as I kept crying. I leaned back against Malfoy, not even caring and buried my face in the crook of his next before crying my heart out, my hair turning a beautiful teal.

Malfoy look nervous for a moment and unsure of what had happened before protectively wrapping his arms around me and rubbing circles on my back.

After awhile I fell asleep, cuddling against my enemy.

"Okay, what just happened?" Pansy asked after Hermione fell asleep.

"I think she fell asleep," I responded smiling into Hermione's hair. She smeeled like apples and cinnamon.

"Not that!" Pansy snapped, "You acting like a-a-a.. Like your her boyfriend!"

"So?" I asked.

"You're not!" Blaise said proving Pansys point.

"Blaise," I groaned, "Why'd you call her Zabini?"

"Nice subject changing. I'll answer but we're coming back to that," he told me and I nodded my head, "Hermione isn't Hermione Granger. She's Hermione Zabini. We gave her up when she was a less than a year old because Voldemort was talking all pureblood girls. Well some. He thought my family only deserved a male so we sent her away before he could find out if Hermione was real or not."

"But metamorphungus!" Pansy said.

"Yes. She inherited it from mum," Blaise said.

Hermione then stirred in my lap and I quickly shifted in case she got up. She groaned and sat up slowly, keeping her arms around my neck.

"Where am I?" She asked.

"Slytherin common room," Blaise answered.

"WHAT?" She screeched before attempting to jump off me. I held her down, "LET ME GO YOU FILTHY BOUNCING FERRET!"

"That was rude," I said, "And you're not leaving."

"Malfoy! Let me go!" She said.

"No." I said firmly.

"Pleaseeeeee"

"No," I told her.

She grunted and crossed her arms. I felt a bit sad they had moved from my neck, but pushed the thoughts away.

"Why were you crying?" I asked softly.

She scowled darkly at Blaise before answering, "Isn't it just great when your called into McGonagalls office to find out that your parents are dead then are sent to professor Snape to find out they weren't even your parents at all and then your told your moving houses and you don't even get a say in it!"

Tears started to elegantley fall down here face, making her light skin glow in the greenish lighting. I stared at her, not caring the Blaise and Pansy were watching me. Right now I was giving her all of my attention and nothing could tear my eyes from her face.

"Malfoy?" I heard faintly, "MALFOY!"

"huh? What?" I asked breaking out of my trance.

"Why were you staring at me for the past," she checked the clock, "two minutes?"

"I wasn't!"

She raised an eyebrow.

"Fine, but I was listening to you. There's a difference." I admitted. Slightly.

"I stopped talking a minute and a half ago," she reasoned, smirking now.

Damn, she looked hot when she smirked. Without thinking I glanced down at her small pink lips before looking in her eyes. Before she had time to process what had just happened, I leaned forward and gently kissed her.

I wasn't surprised when I felt her gasp into my mouth. All that mattered was that I finally had an excuse to kiss the girl of my dreams. Slowly, very slowly, she allowed herself to kiss me back.

Her arms ran through my hair as I clutched her waist, memorizing the feeling of her soft warm lips against mine.

We broke apart when someone screamed out, "DRACO MALFOY AND HERMIONE GRANGER ARE SNOGGING!"

A second year girl with curly brown hair and green eyes was pointing at us.

"Her name is Hermione Zabini," I stated before kissing her again.

She grinned into it and I smirked back. She pulled away and looked into my eyes, arms still around my neck and sitting in my lap.

"Why'd you do that?" She asked me.

"Well, you looked like you could use it," I started before whispering, "And you do not know how long I have been waiting for a chance like this."

She smiled and kissed me again.
