Chapter 5

It took us more or less 14 hours to reach Japan, and by the time we arrived at Japan, cause of the time difference, it is already morning.

"Are you good Asia? I could book you a hotel for you to rest first while I meet the devil ambassador."

Beside Ascalon, the church also given me credit card and cellphone that I could use anywhere. I had asked Griselda about the limit of the credit card, and she told me that there is no limit…

It seems the church believes that an angel is holy, even given a no-limit credit card, they would use it sparingly… Well, maybe if it is your usual angel… But this is me that we are talking… I can't even fall while thinking about all of this sins.

"It's fine Sir Elphael, I have rested enough, we should meet the devil ambassador immediately."

Asia replied with a smile. She seems happy that I am concerned about her. We talked a lot of things on the way to Japan, mainly about her past, and she seems to be curious about heaven, I told her that I could give her a tour on the lower heaven and it seems she is anticipating it.

Well… Later in the series, Brave saints system should be introduced, if there are no problems, I could make Asia my peerage.

We then proceed to meet the ambassador, the meeting point seems to be "Kuoh Academy" … well it is to be expected, Sona Sitri is the student council of this school, and Rias supposedly ran an Occult Research Club.

After arriving at the Academy, we were greeted by 2 young woman, one is bespectacled young woman with a slim figure, black hair styled in a short bob cut and violet eyes. Another is a young bespectacled woman with long straight black hair that extends all the way down to her knees, with split bangs and heterochromic eyes, with a violet left eye and a light brown right eye.

"Greetings, you should be the Ambassador from Angels right? I am Sona Sitri from the Sitri Clan, and this is my queen, Tsubaki Shinra. It is nice to meet you"

Sona offer a handshake, which I reciprocate.

"Yes, I am Elphael, a high-angel sent by Michael-sama, and this is Asia Argento, my companion."

"Greetings, Sona-sama, Tsubaki sama"

Asia bowed to them.

"Okay, lets talk inside my office."

Sona proceed to guide us to her office, while walking to the office, I looked around and found it very exciting to see what I saw on anime in real life. There are not many students because they were mostly in the classroom, nevertheless, it's great to be here.

Not long, we arrived at Sona's office, she offered us to sit down, and asked

"Would you like to drink something?"

"Tea would be great, how about you Asia?"

"I would like tea as well please, thank you."

Sona nodded and asked Tsubaki to make tea for us.

"Okay I will call the other devil's ambassador to come here, while waiting, why don't we play some chess? I hope that Sir Elphael could play some chess?"

"Ah please call me Elphael, miss Sona, and sure, I have not played for a while, so please go easy on me."

"Sure, you can call me Sona as well. I hope to give you a good match, Elphael."

We then played chess while waiting for the other "Ambassador", which is supposedly Rias.

Sona is probably a grandmaster at chess, I am not sure I could beat her.

Most of my chess knowledge is from my past life, and I had beaten grandmaster AI a few times.

Sona asked me while I was thinking,

"White or Black?"

"I would like Black please."

Sona seems surprised by my answer,

"Usually, others would choose white because of the advantage it gives, it is the first time in a while somebody chosen black."

"I am somebody that loves challenge, let's leave it at that."

"Sure then, let's play."

Sona seems to take this game seriously, but why? Because of the "you need to be smarter than me to marry me"? But I am an angel! She shouldn't know my abilities yet, does she see me as a potential partner? Anyway, it is rude for me not to take this seriously while my opponent is taking this seriously.

"Then Sona, you can move first."

Sona nodded and starts the first move.

After a few moves, I realize this girl is not going easy on me! She really does have a grandmaster skill chess, or even more than that.

"Now now, I thought you have not played for some time, this is not a skill somebody can casually said they have not played for a long time."

"Ahahaha… But I really haven't played for a long time now..."

I have slept for a few hundred years, so it counts right?

"Let's leave it at that then, lets continue the match."

Sona then returned to her serious mode. It seems she never took a chess match lightly, whoever the opponent might be.

It might be that my intelligence is high, but I could see the probability of Sona's move inside my head, am I becoming a calculator?

Inside my head, I am always calculating the best course that I could take to defeat Sona, I didn't really think that I could win against her in this chess match.

After a few rounds of aggressive play from Sona, I countered her hard and cut off any way of possible retreat, leading to a checkmate.

I didn't really know that 300 Intelligence is this good, since I could not see other's status.

I saw Sona's face and it seems that she is checking me out, from top to bottom.

Seriously, she is not thinking me as a marriage candidate, right? I prefer somebody with big boobs like Rias rather than flat chested like her!

While I was thinking that, I felt that the room temperature drops by a lot, it's going to freeze right here!

"Elphael, are you thinking something rude?"

She asked me with a smile, but that smile is so scary!!!

How the heck does she know what I'm thinking? Is this the 6th sense of anime girl?!

I asked her with a forced smile,

"What might you be talking about Sona? How could I think something rude about a sister of Maou? What's more, I could fall if I think about something bad."

Still smiling, Sona fixed her glasses and said,

"Is that so? I thought you were thinking about something… rude."

Scaryyyyy…. I could practically feel her cold gaze on me. I better refrain from thinking about that again.

When Sona is still glaring at me, the door opened, and 2 women come inside.

One is beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body, white skin, blue eyes and another is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes, with a very long ponytail.

Who else if it's not Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima?

"Did we enter at a wrong time?"

Rias said while analyzing the atmosphere.

Sona shook her head and said, "No you were right on time, we just finished our chess match. Come sit down, Rias."

I stood up to greet Rias and Akeno, "Hello, I am the ambassador of angels, Elphael, nice to meet you."

I bowed my head to show that I respect them.

"Oh, how polite, I am Rias Gremory from the Gremory house, and this is my queen, Akeno Himejima. A pleasure to meet you."

Rias introduced herself and Akeno to me, but well… I knew both of them quite well, I even know their 3 sizes… Those body is seriously a sin, well they are the embodiment of sins. Well moving on, I need to act on my part as the ambassador of angels.

Sona steps up and said, "Now that we have introduced ourself, I would like to get to the point. Elphael, we will give you a house near this Academy, and I would like you to enroll into this academy as a student next year. I heard from Michael-sama that you are a High Angel, but you rarely decent into Earth. So, I would have you to understand human nature, as well some of their behavior. Would your company also enroll in the Academy?"

I look into Asia, she seemed eager to enroll, so I asked her,

"Asia, how about you enroll with me? You should experience life as much as possible, it's fun being a student you know?"

Asia nodded, "Please enroll me if possible"

Sona thought for a while and nodded, "Then you could enter the 2nd year with some of my peerage member, and Rias's peerage member. Elphael should enter my and Rias's class at the 3rd year."

While I think it is weird to separate me and Asia, I just agree to her proposal. My Ascalon range is far, so as long as Issei attends this Academy, his aura will be suppressed.

Pretty sure that she wanted me to enter next year is because there are only a few weeks left till winter break, then the next time the school opens, it would be next year.

Sona and Rias then explain to me a few things about how things work in Kuoh town. There is not much I need to do, just that I will need to help them to exterminate any stray devils, or any intruder.

I agree to their terms, and they gave me the key to the house that were supposed to be given to me, I excused myself saying that it had a long day for me and Asia, and we needed to rest. I also told them to contact me if any problem rise up, so I exchanged contacts with them.
