Chapter Two - The visions

- "Lexy, if you don't want to go you don't have to, you can stay in the fortress with us." - My mother said while caressing my cheek - "Winterfell is far away, and it's a cold place, it's not warm like Kings Landing."

- "Mother, I want to go, it is my first visit inside the kingdom, I want to know Westeros, I only know Kings Landing and Driftmark" - I was excited, my grandfather the King had asked me and my brothers if we wanted to go with him to visit that place, my brothers were not interested since they would go to Driftmark to visit my paternal grandparents, I would also have liked to go but the next weekend we would go to visit them, so there was no problem that only one weekend I would go with my uncles and grandfather to this place.

- "Did you convince Lexy," - Asked my father entering the room and my mother shook her head.

- "She still wants to go with my father," - She smiled while stroking my hair.

- "Lexy, if you come with us to Driftmark I'll take you in Bruma, you won't have to go by boat with your brothers, right?" - Asked my father while he bent down and was at my height.

I thought about it, I had ridden Bruma a couple of times with my father and there was no more wonderful experience than riding on a dragon, it was simply magnificent, when Syrax laid the next nest my mother had promised to give me a new dragon egg and my uncle Daemon had talked to my aunt Laena to see if it was possible to give me an egg from the next Vhagar nest.

According to my father, I would receive the egg that was obtained first, which had me quite excited and worried about the fact that I still felt some fear that the same thing would happen again as with my previous egg.

- "Is my blue dragon thinking about it?" - Said my father while smiling.

- "No, I love flying in Mist, but I feel that Winterfell will be a new experience" - I answered smiling.

They both had to accept that I would go to Winterfell, although my father tried to negotiate with me even when my mother had already accepted that I would go, I just played along to see how far I could get but in the end, the answer was already decided, I would not go to Driftmark.

A few hours passed while everyone was preparing things for both trips, my mother despite having let me go to that place had told Ser Harwin to go with me and take care of me, he was my mother's protector and a man she trusted.

When it was time to go I went to my grandfather Viserys, I was the first to be outside in the courtyard waiting for the carriage next to him.

- "Are you ready Rhae... Alexandrya?" - He asked while smiling at me - "Winterfell is a cold place, it's beautiful but very different from here, I think you will like it."

- "Aegon told me that there are wolves," - I said while looking at him.

- "They won't do anything to you, you know you shouldn't listen to that boy" - He laughed - "Besides, you won't be in the forest, we will be at the Starks' place, they will give us an inn, and we have guards that will give us protection, you don't need to be afraid"

- "No, I'm not afraid of wolves, I've seen pictures of them in books, they are like puppies" - I said while smiling - "I would like to have one."

- "Yes, like puppies that can tear your neck out"

The others did not take too long, Alicent came with Helaena who was holding her hand, and behind her came Aemond and Aegon talking with Ser Criston Cole, Ser Harwin had arrived with his horse.

- "Alexandrya" - Said Helaena letting go of her mother's hand and going to where I was and then hugging me, I reciprocated her embrace.

Ser Criston helped us both to get into the carriage before the others, she and I were sitting together, she was my best friend, and with her, I could talk about things that the others didn't fully understand.

- "We will pass by Harrenhal, they say it has been haunted since the time of Aegon the Conqueror" - Said Aegon as he settled in the carriage.

- "Aegon, don't talk about those things, you know that Helaena can't sleep because of your stories," - Complained Alicent looking at Aegon who sighed.

- "But it is true, that fortress is haunted" - Viserys answered - "It is cursed, Lord Lyonel Strong lived there together with his sons before he was my hand"

- "You too Viserys, that is enough" - Alicent chased him away and then looked at me with a smile.

- "The last roar of the wolf, will bring with us a silver howl" - Helaena said in a low voice and then took my hand looking at me, sometimes I didn't understand some things, but I tried to understand.

- "Honey, you better sit here" - Alicent called her to sit close to her and Helaena changed places with Aemond, now she was between Aegon and Aemond.

- "What did she say this time, the other day she told me something about dragons dancing, sometimes I doubt if she is my sister, but then I remember that Aemond is my brother" - Aegon spoke in a low voice.

- "Don't bother Aemond, Aegon," - I said with a frown.

- "Leave him, he is an idiot, and that's why he won't get a wife" - Aemond added.

- "I'll get a wife before you, you'll see, it will be Alexandrya," - Aegon slipped an arm behind my shoulders.

- "What are you talking about, she will marry me," - Aemond replied.

They both started to argue about who would marry me while I was staring at the floor of the carriage for a moment I felt as if the world had stopped, I didn't hear anyone, images and sounds that didn't belong to anything I had seen before came to my head.

A wolf, howling, snow, blood, screams and what seemed to be fire, then I saw water, dragons, and both of my brothers, I saw Lucerys stumble.

- "Lexy, Lexy" - I heard how someone called me and moved me by the arm, pulling me out of what I saw and heard.

It was Viserys, that wasn't the first time this had happened to me, I hadn't told anyone, only Helaena, I felt she would be the only one who wouldn't label me as crazy, she believed me.

- "Hmmm" - I asked, looking up.

- "Are you ok," - He asked a little worried, - "You seemed a little lost a few moments ago."

- "Yes, everything is fine, I'm just a little sleepy, I didn't sleep yesterday because of the excitement," - I said quickly so as not to raise doubts.

- "Winterfell is boring, there is nothing there" - Aegon added, he had been to this place twice while Aemond and Helaena had only once.

- "Speak for yourself, I think it's great, last time I had a battle with Cregan Stark, he's good with wooden swords" - Aemond commented.

- "They have nice spiders," - Added Helaena, - "I didn't see those in our castle."
