Dragon Poison

"Alexandrya, that damned name seemed unable to leave the minds of the princes of House Targaryen, it was as if that violet-eyed girl had bewitched the three of them, there was no way they could get her out of their minds, they would do anything to make Alexandria theirs alone. It had been years since the last time they had seen her, and that girl was now a woman who had wrapped them with that silver hair and had bewitched them with the most beautiful violet eyes. Alexandrya Velaryon was the undoing of princes Aegon and Aemond Targaryen, and even more so when her betrothal to her brother Jacaerys Velaryon was announced. They would do anything to have her by their side, they didn't care if it started a war." This story doesn't belong to me. I only translate.

Chapter 03 - Winterfell

Driftmark

Rhaenyra Targaryen

We had arrived after a long journey by ship, Driftmark, Laenor was flying in Mist while I had gone with the children on that ship along with Qarl Correy.

When we arrived, Laenor was already waiting for us at the Velaryon fortress, the dragons of my two sons had not come with us.

- "My grandchildren," - Said Corlys as he opened his arms and approached Jacaerys and Lucerys who rushed and ran to him and hugged him, - "Where is my other sea dragon," - He asked as he looked at me.

- "She couldn't come, she went to Winterfell with the king," - I answered as I approached my father-in-law, who had already recovered and hugged me.

- "It's a pity my little girl couldn't come, today Laena and Daemon came to visit, the last one thought Lexy was coming, Baela and Rhaena were excited to play with their cousin, they hadn't seen her since Jacaerys' name day," - He answered.

- "Alexandrya?" - Asked Rhaenys, who came with Baela and Rhaena holding hands.

Jacaerys and Lucerys approached them, and Rhaenys let them go and play with them.

- "She didn't come, Rhaenyra says she's in Winterfell with your cousin," - Corlys replied as she hugged her.

Laenor and Laena were chatting happily, they rarely saw each other, in their childhood they had been very close, and the two complemented each other.

There was also him, Daemon, my uncle, who was drinking a glass of what seemed to be wine.

I walked over to where he was sitting next to him.

- "Did you know we were coming," - I asked him quietly as he poured me a glass.

- "Why else would I be here?" - He answered with a smile, Corlys and Rhaenys had left to go to their grandchildren.

- "She didn't come," - I replied and then took a drink.

- "My sweet girl, where is she?" - He asked, trying not to look disappointed.

- "She's with the king and his sons, they went to Winterfell," - I answered.

- "I would rather Caraxes cremate her than have her spend any more time with Alicent Higthower's sons," - He spoke with disdain.

- "You wouldn't bear to lose her."

- "You're right, I wouldn't, that child is the best thing I have in my life."

- "Laenor adores her, she is his little blue dragon" - I answered while I saw my husband in the distance.

- "My daughter, I still cannot believe that someone like her was created by a part of me."

- "She's an angel Daemon, she's the light of my eyes."

- "I'd love for her to know I'm her father, to be able to show her off to the seven kingdoms as my daughter, but I can't, I can only be 'the favorite uncle' or 'the gift uncle' as she calls me" - I laugh.

- "She loves you"

- "But not like she loves him, she loves him like a father, she loves me just like an uncle"

- "I told you on the day of the wedding, to take me to Dragonstone and take me as your wife, but you didn't do it"

- "Again, reproaching me for that?" - He sipped wine from his glass - "Viserys would not have allowed it" - He looked at me - "Besides, you were a child, I saw for your good, you would not be happy at my side."

- "Since when do you care about my father's opinion?"

A noise was heard, and we all turned around, Corlys came with Lucerys in his arms, and Jacaerys came running along with Baela and Rhaena.

- "The child fell," - He said, I stood up and approached, my little boy had a wound on his forehead from which blood was gushing.

- "He tripped and got a wound," - Said Jacaerys.

Winterfell

Alexandrya Velaryon

We had arrived in Winterfell a few hours ago, I was seeing snow for the first time, and the weather was colder than I had imagined.

- "Lexy, do you remember when I told you that Velaryons were born seahorses?" - Aegon asked as we walked through the snow.

- "Yes, I remember. I was a blue one, that's why my father calls me 'my blue dragon'."

- "Stop it, Aegon, don't bother her," - Said Aemond.

- "He's not bothering me, we're just talking about when I was a little girl" - I answered, smiling.

- "Lexy, you weren't a seahorse when you were a baby" - Aemond gave Aegon a dirty look - "you were just like us."

- "Were you also seahorses?" - I asked - "What color were you?"

- "What do you mean, what color?" - Aemond glared again at Aegon, who had already started to laugh.

- "Hello, what are you doing?" - Asked Brandon Stark, Cregan Stark's twin brother.

- "Speaking of when we were little, what color were you?" - I asked, and Aemond brought one of his hands to his face.

- "What do you mean, what color, princess?" - The black-haired man started to laugh.

- "I was blue..." - I answered quietly.

- "Blue?" - Asked Viserys who had come closer - "How can you be blue Alexandrya?" - I laughed

- "Yes, I was a little blue seahorse, my mother nursed me in a glass of water until I was a bigger size and took me out," - I replied quite confidently and then looked at Aegon, - "Aegon told me that all Velaryons were from little seahorses."

- "Aegon!" - Viserys scolded him. - "When did he tell you that?" - He asked.

- "When I was five, I think," - I answered.

- "You've been thinking you were a seahorse since you were five?" - Brandon asked, laughing.

- "What's wrong?" - I asked, confused, Aemond took my hand.

- "My dear granddaughter, you were never a seahorse"

My eyes glazed over. - "Am I not a Velaryon?" - I asked.

- "See what you do, Aegon, go to your mother," - Viserys raised his voice, - "Lexy, you are a Velaryon, but you were not a seahorse, no one is born one, Aegon lied to you, again," - He said.

My grandfather took me inside the Stark chambers and explained in detail what babies were like and that no one was born blue, though if this happened the baby could have health problems, no one was born that color, let alone an animal, he stressed to me again not to listen to Aegon, and then he left to speak to the Lord Regent of Winterfell.

- "Relax, he told me that dragons were also born from hens' eggs and that for them to hatch I had to put them under my pillow for 7 nights, I believed him" - Aemond sat down next to me and took my hand - "the eggs broke in the night and all week I stole eggs, my mother discovered what had happened when she moved one of my pillows and discovered the mess."
