Dragon of Absolute Sovereignty (DXD)

Sharon Savant, a boy meant to be the next chief of a clan filled with Dragonkin: Humans with the muddled bloodline of the proud dragons. What would you expect to happen to such a clan? Decimation. In less than a day, the entire clan was wiped out, except for .... You guessed it, Sharon Savant. Join him as he journeys to the peak of the world with his Harem. ‐------------------------------------------------------ Yeah, it's a Harem fanfic. Personally, I enjoy Harem stories, so all my fanfics (old and new) will most likely be Harem. It is R-18, so I will have lemons in the story. I'll try to space them out, but if you don't want to read them, you're welcome to skip them, as it won't affect the flow of the story. ‐------------------------------------------------------ I don't own any of the pictures (including cover art), High School DXD or the characters. My OC character design is Ookurikara from Touken Ranbu.

Ch 4: Normal Life...

"What is a dragon doing out here?" The man asked as Sharon stared into the man's eyes. Sharon's golden pupils rapidly constricted into slits as he recognized the familiar aura that spread from the man.

"Fallen Angel," Sharon muttered as his aura began to rise rapidly.

The man made a confused expression when he noticed the massive amount of bloodlust the boy in front of him was exerting.

The air around the man grew heavier as he spread 10 feathery black wings from his back.

Flashbacks of the 10-winged man chasing him down and causing him to nearly die arose within Sharon's mind as a faint red aura surrounded him.

The aura was similar to that of the aura he had condensed with the help of Ophis. The same aura he absorbed into his body to grow stronger.

Dragons are beings capable of growing continuously, provided they constantly absorb the mana particles in the air and condense them into their bodies. However, this method is extremely limited as the amount of mana particles that can be absorbed in this way is only enough to push a dragon from low class to mid class over the span of nearly 10 years. As for the higher levels, it would take even longer.

Although many dragons are strong, the great war tens of thousands of years ago pushed many into hiding while the rest were killed or turned into Sacred Gears. As such, very few dragons still remain as of today that use the method of near-death to grow faster.

The near-death method is a method primarily for dragons, or any race, that were above the mid-class level. Through constantly bringing themselves to the peak of body exhaustion and experiencing near-death situations, they can grow much faster.

However, many dragons above the mid-class don't engage in this practice, as the combat abilities of many dragons had significantly fallen.

(A.N: Sorry for the small info dump, had to do it.)

Sharon and the man stared each other down when they heard the sliding of the door to their side.

The man instantly retracted his black feathery wings into his back, while Sharon reverted his eyes to normal and dissipated as much of his aura as he could.

'Why did he stop? Is he not going to attack?" Sharon wondered as he looked towards the door.

"Ara? Could you two tell me what was going on here? You two wouldn't be fighting, now would you?" Shuri asked with a smile on her face.

Both Sharon and the man knew that her smile was nothing more than a façade.

"What? Darling, I wouldn't do that ... I barely know the kid. That's why I figured I would ... get to know him better." The man said as he, along with Shuri, turned to Sharon. In a state of confusion, Sharon nodded as Shuri just chuckled.

"Well, this is Sharon Savant. He'll be staying with us for a while, okay? Darling?" Shuri said as the man just nodded.

"This is my husband and Akeno's father, Baraqiel." Shuri said, introducing her husband to Sharon.

"Baraqiel ... the lightning of god." Sharon muttered, catching Shuri's attention along with Baraqiel's.

"You know Greek?" Shuri asked curiously as Sharon nodded.

Sharon, as the next-in-line for chiefdom of his clan, had begun learning a vast number of things from a very young age. Martial arts, academics, and linguistics were but a few. One of the languages he was proficient in, was Greek.

"I have learned many languages, Greek is one of them." Sharon calmly responded as Shuri listened while Baraqiel had a suspicious expression.

"Why did you lie to my wife, earlier?" Baraqiel asked with a slight hint of anger as Shuri was a little confused. The expressions on Sharon's face changed as he felt a sudden grip in his chest.

"What else was I supposed to do? Tell her my entire clan was wiped out by those damned Fallen Angels? That they were burned to death, leaving not even their charred bodies behind? Or how I was left for dead after they attacked and watched me try to escape, only to be nearly killed?" Sharon lashed out as a vast number of expressions flashed through Baraqiel's face.

"What do you mean? The dragonkin clan has allies within multiple devil clans and even a formal alliance with the angels. There is no reason for the Fallen Angels to attack them. Not unless they didn't fear the backlash of the allied forces." Baraqiel responded as Sharon felt conflicted.

He wanted to yell at the fallen angel before him for ruining his life and destroying everything he had cared about, but ... he couldn't. He knew it was wrong to blame an entire group of people for one person's mistake. He knew it was wrong ... yet he couldn't just let it go.

"Then why? Why did they do it? We haven't done anything wrong. What did my clan do to have such an end? WHY?" Sharon complained as tears streamed down his face.

Suddenly, a gentle warmth covered him. It was something he hadn't felt in a long while. Not since his clan had been wiped out.

Shuri pulled Sharon into an embrace as Baraqiel watched with a conflicted expression.

'Who did this? Why did they do it?' Baraqiel wondered as Shuri decided to put Sharon to sleep as he looked absolutely drained.

Shuri brought Sharon over to the guest room and put him to bed before she made her way to her bedroom with Baraqiel.

*Time skip*

A couple of months went by since Sharon had moved into Akeno's family. The two of them began going to a nearby elementary school together while Shuri continued working at the shrine. While Baraqiel often left home due to his work at the Grigori.

The Grigori was the association built by the Fallen Angels for the Fallen Angels. As a Fallen Angel with one of the highest rankings, Baraqiel was often tasked with special missions. He also spent the time attempting to find out the details concerning the annihilation of the Savant Dragonkin clan.

During these months, Sharon became especially close to Akeno as they went to school together. Spending a large amount of time together, except for when Sharon trained his close combat skills and slowly absorbed mana.

During the time he spent with Akeno, they often ventured around the sub-urban town of Kuoh. Exploring the parks and the different restaurants, they spent their time freely, enjoying their childhood.

One day, when Akeno and Sharon were on their way back from the nearby park, they saw a young girl standing by the front entrance of the Himejima's house.

She looked almost exactly like Akeno, so much so that Sharon would've thought that it was Akeno, had she not been beside him.

"Akeno ... Do you know who that is?" Sharon asked as Akeno nodded and ran towards the girl.

"Big Sis Suzaku!" Akeno said playfully as she ran towards the girl.

"Suzaku? Big Sis?" Sharon wondered as he had never heard anyone mention Akeno having a big sister.

"This is Big Sis Suzaku." She said with a smile as the young girl named Suzaku turned to face Sharon. Her eyes slightly widened as a warm smile appeared on her face, and she slightly bowed.

"This is Big bro Sharon." Akeno said as Sharon slightly bowed in return.

"I see ... you're a dragonkin, aren't you?" Suzaku asked as Sharon's face scrunched up.

'How did she see through the aura masking I did? Is she that much stronger than me?' Sharon wondered as Shuri opened the door wondering why there was so much noise outside.

"Ah, Suzaku! Oh, Akeno and Sharon are here as well. Come on in." Shuri said as the three made their way in.
