Chapter 46 – Aoi Exposes The Cheater!!

Cj confronted Dante in his strange get up. The two stared at each other, one reading the other's memories while the other was looking at the composition of the other. "You're weird" they both said simultaneously.

"Me? The only thing weird here is that body of yours. Why do you have so many hearts?"

"That's how I'm build. You're the one with the unachievable goal here. Do you truly believe you can accomplish what you set out to do?'

"Of course, there's no room for doubts"

Their brief discussion ended right there. Like Alisa and Lethal, Cj also had a way to fly in the air. His backpack had the properties of a jetpack so it was easy for him to be boosted in the air. He took the skies before Dante even considered it. The Dragon followed his lead and flew above him. Looking down on the boy, Dante decided on her first gift and her second too.

Swords, dozens of blades surrounded Dante in an instant. Where did they come from? One could only assume that Dante used Lethal's Equip. The swords charged at Cj rather slowly. Anyone could catch or even dodge the blades if need be. Cj easily evaded all the swords but they came back, moving slightly faster than before. Dante's swords gradually got faster, one if them managed to stab Cj's backpack at one point. The sword that touched his bag became dust within seconds. Cj flew above Dante and touched both of her horns. Her horns was tore into pieces with her whole skin falling off of her body. The Dragon's muscles, bones, and organs were visible for all to see. Dante gritted her teeth feeling excruciating pain, the wind touching her unprotected body was enough to make anybody scream. It took some time for Dante to fully regenerate her skin, Cj kindly waited for that to happen. Before her body was completely covered again with purple skin, Cj pointed something out to everyone. "She has five hearts everyone. What do you think are my chances of extracting one of them?"

"What does it matter? She can't die anyways"

Some have their opinions while others stayed quiet. Dante finally recovered her skin. She knows for certain that Cj won't touch her again. She was aware of his gift but curiosity got the best of her. There is no way to know what bad thing will happen when those hands make contact. Lots of people make the mistake of calling the power Cj wields deconstruction or destruction or maybe extraction. In truth, his gift is all of those with many more. "The power to touch someone and something randomly bass happen to them" Dante said out loud.

"Hey, please tell me that's my gift you just described. Sometimes I am confused by it myself. There are times when it does something random when I touch someone. I just pretend like I had the intention of doing them. It is really annoying" said Cj.

"I know right, that's why I am not a huge fan of it. Who knows? Maybe there is a pattern we're not seeing yet". Dante continued looking through the man's memories. On top of learning his goal, she learned the steady power he has been carefully accumulating.

"Hmm" A strange feeling sprung up inside of the Dragon. It was neither fear or admiration for her opponent but pure rage. After reading the memories of Cj, she thought it was best to end the fight immediately before he goes out of hand. Only she understands the frighten power Cj possess in this very moment. If she does not play her cards right, bad things will befall besides the people on the island. "Is this the reason why you have no doubt? Because you're willing to sacrifice so much" Dante asks the man.

"I don't know what you mean. I want to win this thing and earn your divine potion or whatever". Playing the fool, Cj adjusted his headset before approaching Dante.

A portal appeared behind Cj pulling him in with a gravitational force. On the other side, it was clearly an hot dessert. Getting sent to a place like that is not ideal. Sadly, no matter how hard Cj tried, he was sucked in by the portal in the end. "That's that". The fight seemed to be over quicker than anyone expected. Everything happened so fast, some still needed time to acknowledge what happened. Cj was dealt with in less than three minutes tops. "Wow, she did him dirty" Isaac laughs.

"Is the fight over?"

"Alright now it's finally my turn!". Fei confronted Dante excited to finally get his turn. "Let's hurry and start" Fei said hastily.

Dante replied to him saying "There is no need to rush. I hope you're a challenging fo-"

While in the middle of speaking, Dante vanished from sight. He was nowhere to be seen or heard. The king looked over at Alisa and asks "Do you sense her on the island?". It took Alisa almost a minute before she could respond. "She's gone, she isn't on this island that's for sure". This was the moment Miya was waiting for. She went on her laptop that was already broadcasting Cj's vision. She called everyone over and showed them footage that was currently being recorded. "Cj's shades is actually a camera in disguise. As long as he has that on, we can see whatever he sees" she told everyone.

"Woah!"

"Damn, so he's still alive then" Aoi said dissatisfied. Fei heard her disappointment and addressed it. "He is not a bad person. At least I don't think he is, you should talk to him when this is all over". Aoi nodded in reply "I already planned to. I have reason to believe that he's responsible for murdering people who were close to me".

"Serioisly"

King Almon was furious with the Dragon's disappearance. For centuries, Dante has been kept a secret on the secret land known only to the Golden Circle, Apsychos. It has been so long since she have left the island, the king intended on keeping it that way. Another reason for the Dragon Hunt was to prevent Dante from leaving the island to search for strong foes. They rather bring those people to her than letting her search. Now she's gone and nowhere to be found. "This is bizarre. How could she just leave like that" he wondered.

"Oh look, it's Dante" Miya said pointing at the small screen. The king quickly pushed his head in front of the screen to see if Dante was really there. The Dragon was before Cj talking casually with him. "Sorry that the screen is a bit small. We'll have to bare with it" Miya apologizes.

"You're apologizing for the wrong thing. He left the island!! That clearly is against the rules!! I'm going to disqualify him" the king blurted upsettingly.

"Hahahaha, now you feel like disqualifying him. He's been cheating since the second round" Aoi laughed at the old man.

"He has?"

"Surely you noticed. The second round was rigged. Some of the drones were being controlled by someone else. The person controlling those drones was a candidate. Barely any drones headed to Team Even's base and that gave Isaac the opportunity he needed to lay a trap for Xavier. Another instance is when Fei was literally talking to someone far from the island on his smart watch. Drones were even doing fake announcements without our knowledge and that caused Team Even to think Isaac was eliminated. There is even more he had done like during the first round. The guy destroyed my cyborg Olga and then stole his parts. But even with all of those crimes, there is still one action he took that fooled everyone completely. The Uranus that participated in Capture The Flag was a fake. It was a just a middle aged man that got his appearance changed"

"First thing's first, why did you wait up until now for you to say something about this? How did you know he committed these acts?"

Aoi stared at Fei's smart watch. "SOR!" she shouted. Fei's watch lit up with SOR responding to his maker. "What she says is the truth your honour. An Artificial Intelligence has hacked into this island's servers for some time now. Having all the access to your confidential data and fully controls any part of the island she wishes. BEA"

"Oooooh! So Cj's the one who stole BEA. That actually makes sense" Fei said thinking back to when he was talking to his father during the second round. Before they declared Cj's disqualification, Miya tried to defend him. "Dante is aware of all the acts he's committed but she still decided to fight him. Let her enjoy herself for the time being"

The king was ready to object but Aoi stopped him. "Whatever, the two of them are pretty far away now. We'll just have to wait until they arrive back here".

"You riled me up for nothing then" the king complained.

"I'm conflicted. There's a part of me thst wants to kill the bastard but he is Stephano's little boy. How could I bring myself to kill him knowing that? " Aoi grinned.

"So you forgive his actions?" Fei asks curiously.

"Never, regardless of what I choose, he'll receive punishment" Aoi answered. The death of her niece Alice and her best friend Stephano Jupiter might be forgiven. Cj has a lot to go through once the final round is over. King Almon's hunt, Aoi's wrath and Miya's safety.
