KEEP MOVING FORWARD

That night, Shallot and his friends eat, laugh and have a good time. Launch, Oolong, and Roshi get drunk, while Krillin and Yamcha arm wrestle. As he looks on at the good friends he's made on earth, he's reminded of the friends he had on Planet Vegeta.

Raditz, a mid class warrior like himself who was always smart and tactical. Shallot always respected him for that and the two became friends.

Broly, a very timid and quiet boy, something unusual for a Saiyan. He and Shallot bonded over being different from the rest of their people, with Shallot becoming Broly's only friend.

Yunaly another middle class warrior and arguably the one Shallot was closest too. She was one of the only ones who understood him besides his family and he always appreciated that. He also always thought that she had a pretty smile.

And Prince Vegeta, son of The King. Shallot looked at Vegeta as both a friend and a goal, being one of only two who were in the Super Elite Class, next to his father, Shallot wanted to be just as strong as him.

Shallot, Yunaly, Raditz, and Vegeta were watched over by a Saiyan named Nappa during missions, an elite warrior who Shallot didn't really like in particular.

Shallot mind drifts to one night on Planet Vegeta, around a fire. Nappa and Raditz argue as they normally do, while Broly is sitting alone, quiet and anti-social. Yunaly la.ghs at Raditz and Nappa, and then smiles at Shallot. Vegeta folds his arms and scoffs at them all.

As Shallots mind drifts back to the present, everyone is sleeping and he smiles. He then stands up and walks outside, standing infront of the ocean and stretches a little. He then takes a fighting stance, a hybrid between a Saiyan's and master Roshi's Martial-Arts stance. He then throws punches and a high kick, then breaths in and out slowly.

"I see sending you here was a good idea." A voice says.

Shallot looks over his shoulder and sees Fortune Teller Baba. The Saiyan smiles, seeing the first friend he made on this planet.

"It's been awhile. You look just as lovely as ever." Shallot says.

Baba laughs.

"I see your time on Earth taught you how to lie." Baba replies.

Shallot chuckles, as he looks out at the ocean.

"So. You saw all of this happening, right? That's why gave me the dragon ball, told me to help Bulma, and sent me to meet Roshi."

Baba smiles.

"It was your fate. I just quickened things up."

Shallot chuckles.

"I'm grateful. When Planet Vegeta was destroyed- I truly lost everything. For a moment, I felt defeated and broken. But then, I met you, Bulma, Yamcha, Roshi, Launch, Harley, Krillin, even Oolong. you've helped me so much more than you know- I'm grateful for that. You've given me something else to fight for."

Baba looks at the now serious look on Shallots face.

"If I fall against Frieza, chances are he'll come here and he'll destroy this planet. I've gotten stronger- way stronger than I was before. But I know for a fact that it's not enough. A trained a whole year- and it still not enough."

Baba sighs at the hopeless look on the boys face.

"So? Are you going to cry about it?" Baba says, surprising Shallot.

"Just now, you had that same hopeless look on your face, the same look you had the first time I met you, when your planet was destroyed. So I'm asking you, are you going to just give up?"

Shallot thinks to himself for a moment, clenching his fists tightly. He then turns to Baba with an embarrassed smile on his face.

"Sorry about that. I got a little pathetic there. If I'm not strong enough to go up against Frieza yet, then I'll just work harder. I'll push my body, my mind, my spirit, everything to its absolute peak. Then I'll kill that bastard." Shallot says with a determined look.

Baba smiles with satisfaction.

"Glad to see that you still have that fire." Baba says.

At that moment, Roshi walks outside yawning.

"Hey Shallot, what are doing out here?"

Roshi then sees Baba.

"Oh- It's you. Hey Baba." Roshi says.

Baba scoffs at her younger brother.

"Really? Is that all you have to say to me after all these years? Do you know how many birthdays you missed?"

Roshi sighs.

"Well judging by the wrinkles, I must have missed a lot of them." Roshi says.

Baba gets angry, and yanks on Roshi's beard.

"What did you say, you brat?!" Baba yells as Roshi cries out in pain.

Shallot laughs at the two as he walks back into the house, leaving them alone.

Meanwhile, someone wearing a white cloak is watching from the sky with an evil grin.

"Soon, my revenge will be at hand." The mystery figure says as he disappears.
