The Last Dragon Ball (3)

Goku was not able to close down the distance between himself and the robot as the distance grew larger and larger each second.

"How is he still keeping up with a robot that is flying in the air only using his feet?" Shu said as he looked behind his back as he continued to fly away while carrying Mai who was still unconscious.

Goku was still chasing Shu and Mai but he was starting to get slowed down. Not because he was getting tired but because the robot started dropping road spikes when Shu realized that Goku was still chasing after them.

Not only that Goku has a massive disadvantage.

Unlike a Robot that can just fly in the air in a straight line using its legs that have rockets built into them, he has to run at his full speed while avoiding rocks, hills, holes and obstacles that are along his way.

"I have to increase the speed even further." Shu said as he used even more energy than the Robot to increase the speed even further.

After chasing the robot that got another speed boost for a few minutes goku finally loses track of the robot as it disappears into the air.

"Tch." Goku was a little irritated when he realized that Shu and Mai got away.

If only I had some kind of flying car they would not have gotten away. Goku thought as he looked at the sky.

Even after chasing the robot using his full speed for a few minutes he still didn't seem like he was running out of stamina.

"What a waste of time. I should just have destroyed the armour when I had the chance." Goku said with a regretful tone.

"I think I should go back to see how the others are doing," Goku said as he ran back towards the place where Bulma and the others were located.

"Thank god the dragon balls are alright," Bulma said as she hugged the briefcase where she put all of the dragon balls in.

"But how do they know that we have the dragon balls? I thought you said there is only one dragon radar in the world." Oolong asked Bulma.

"I am not entirely sure. The most likely option is that Someone might have also created a dragon radar similar to mine," Bulma said.

"Is that even possible?" Oolong asked.

"Of course. Well, but I doubt that it is as advanced as mine," Bulma said as she complimented herself.

"Do you always need to be such a narcissist all the time? Who knows their dragon radar might be more advanced than yours?" Oolong said to Bulma.

Bulma hit Oolong in the head because of his comment.

"There is no way something like that would happen. Just so you know I have been building laser guns and fixing spaceships since I was four years old." Bulma said as she bragged about her past accomplishments.

While the two are talking about the attack that just happened Chichi is drawing something on the sand using Goku's power that he left behind.

It seems to be something that resembles a poop.

"Goku, you are back," Chichi called out as she saw Goku who just came back.

She dropped the power pole that she was using to draw on the sand and ran towards Goku to give him a hug.

"I lost track of them," Goku said. As he pushed away Chichi.

"Well, It's hard to chase down something as fast as that thing, I am surprised that you even managed to fight back," Oolong said to Goku.

"Let's use the dragon balls to draw them out so that we can capture them," Goku said to Bulma as he looked directly at her.

"Huh. Are you crazy? There is no way that I am using the dragon balls as the bait. What if they escaped with my beautiful prince charming? I mean my dragon balls." Bulma said to Goku.

"Why do we need to capture them? Let's get out of here and continue our search for the last dragon ball. That robot looked strong and menacing. What if the one who attacked us had more than one robot lying around? We would absolutely get killed." Oolong said to Goku.

Both Bulma and Oolong were not interested in facing an unknown force that had at least one giant robot working for them.

"Then do you want to let go of the people who just tried to kill us without any repercussion? This time it was a great explosion bullet. Who knows what they are going to use next." Goku said to Bulma and Oolong. (He referred to the Rocket as the great explosion bullet because he doesn't know what a Rocket is.)

Goku was trying to reason with them only because he didn't know where their enemies escaped. And he knew Bulma could find a way to track them down.

If he knew their location he would have already sprinted dashed towards their location and sent them to their maker.

"Well, you might be right," Bulma said.

"I am confused why do they want the dragon balls?" Chichi asked Oolong.

"You see when seven dragon balls are gathered together you can summon a dragon that can grant a wish. Since they want our dragon balls that means that they must be after the wish too." Bulma explained when she heard Chichi's question.

"Wait a minute." Then suddenly Bulma realized something.

"They might have the last dragon ball." She said as she dropped the dragon radar that she was holding in her hand.

Goku smiled when he heard Bulma's words.

At Pilaf's castle.

"You idiots," Pilaf yelled at Shu and Mai who came back defeated with the damaged robot.

"Not only did you fail to get the dragon balls but you also damaged the Pilaf machine," Pilaf yelled out aloud.

"Well at least it still looked like it could be fixed," Pilaf said.

"I am sorry Pilaf sama. It won't happen again." Shu and Mai said to Pilaf in a dogeza position.

"I will forgive you once. But there won't be next time understand." Pilaf said to Shu and Mai.

"Yes. Pilaf Sama." The two replied.
