The Last Dragon Ball (2)

"Why did I accept his offer?" Goku questioned himself.

He was sitting on the beak seat of the car that was travelling along the road.

Bulma and Oolong were in the front row of the car while Goku was in the beat seat with a girl.

She was hugging one of his arms.

The identity of the girl who was hugging Goku's hand was Chichi.

"I am surprised that you decided to take her along for the ride." Bulma who was driving the car said to Goku.

"Tsk." Goku didn't give Bulma a reply.

A few hours ago.

"Can you train Chichi to become a powerful martial artist?" Ox king said to Goku.

"Huh? Why are you asking me that? Aren't you also pretty strong?" Goku said.

"I dedicated my whole life to martial arts and even then I was always lagging behind your grandfather. Currently, you are a lot stronger than me and would be able to train Chichi to reach a level even that I was never able to achieve." Ox King said.

"I was originally not thinking about it but after seeing how strong you are I started to realize how powerless I am. If you were my enemy I don't think I would be able to protect Chichi even if I sacrificed my life." Ox King said.

Goku wanted to comment about how someone as strong as him might be hard to come by but he stopped before saying anything as he knew he would not be surprised if someone stronger than him existed on this planet.

"If it was any other guy I would not have made them train her because of my worries. But I knew that I could trust Son Gohan's grandson." Ox King said while giving a faint smile.

"Of course, You can reject it if you don't want to." of course, Ox King also gives Goku a choice as he doesn't want to force the youngster to do something that he doesn't want to do.

"Fine. I will train her to become a great martial artist. Okay. Can you stop bringing up about how you could trust me because of my grandfather?" Goku was starting to get tired of Ox King's friendliness so he made a sarcastic comment towards the Ox King.

However, the thing about Sarcastic comments is that if you say it wrong it might be hard to tell that it was just a sarcastic comment.

"Ah, I misspoke." Goku immediately realized that and tried to backtrack as soon as he could but by then it was too late.

I guess I could teach some martial arts to her. Probably until she can use a Kamehameha wave. Goku thought in his mind as he looked at Chichi who seemed to be so innocent.

"Shooosh."

Then suddenly Goku heard a sound.

"Let go of me for a second. I want to check something." Goku said as he broke free from Chichi's grab and looked behind them to see a rocket-like object flying towards them.

"Everyone. Get out of the car." Goku yelled out as the car that they were riding in was hit by a missile.

He was unable to react in time and destroy the rocket. Because when he saw the rocket it was already too close to the car.

Trying to destroy the rocket when it was already too close to him and the others would have made the explosion even bigger.

However, he was able to get Bulma and Oolong out of the car before the missile hit it.

Chichi who was fairly strong compared to normal humans was also able to jump out of the car before it exploded.

Even though all of them escaped they were not unharmed as Goku, Bulma and Oolong were hit by a small shockwave that occurred when the car exploded.

"Oweeei." Bulma seems to be a little hurt but there was no major injury on her body.

"What happened?" Oolong asked as he got up.

"Bad woman, she is the person that attacked us," Chichi said as she pointed at a black hair woman who was standing on top of a hill not very far away from them.

She was also carrying a rocket launcher that still had smoke coming out of it. It was Mai.

"Shu. Do it now." Mai said as a robot piloted by Shu, came out of the shadow and jumped towards the destroyed car.

"They are after the dragon balls," Goku said as he ran towards the robot and kicked it away.

"What the hell are you? A knight who covered his body from head to the toes with armour or a strange person operating a weird vehicle?" Goku asked Shu as he had never seen a robot before in his life.

The robot didn't give a reply.

"Doesn't matter if you don't answer. I can just beat the shit out of you and make you answer my question." Goku said as he started to throw a barrage of punches towards the robot.

It was very effective as Each and every one of Goku's punches made a small dent in the robot's metallic body.

When Mai saw that the robot was being overwhelmed she threw away her rocket launcher and jumped down from the hill while carrying a small capsule in her hand.

The small capsule contained a shotgun.

"Hand over the dragon balls if you don't want to get hurt." She said as she aimed a shotgun at Bulma, Oolong and Chichi.

Bulma and Oolong quickly put their hand up in the air when they saw that a shotgun was being aimed towards them.

"Bad woman. Get away from me." Chichi said as she launched a beam from her helmet towards the direction of Mai.

It missed by some margin as Chichi was too scared to properly aim the beam.

Mai also being very agile also doesn't help in the matter.

Mai quickly opened fire back at Chichi.

Bulma and Oolong quickly tried to take cover behind a rock when they saw Mai start firing. Bulma also dragged Chichi alongside her as she knew even the Ox King's daughter might not be bulletproof.

"Didn't you have anything that we can use to attack her?" Oolong asked Bulma.

"Didn't you remember I lost my capsule box?" Bulma replied.

"Huh." Goku who was one sidely beating up the robot saw that Bulma and Oolong were now in full-on panic mode because of Mai's shotgun rampage.

"They really are useless. Well, time to wrap this up." Goku said as he grabbed one of the robot's hands.

"Huh." Shu was shocked by Goku's actions but he was unable to do anything to stop him.

Goku then threw the robot towards Mai.

The robot hit Mai. Knocking her out cold. However, it quickly got up grabbed Mai and flew away when it realized that he was no match for Goku.

"As if I let you run," Goku said as he tried to follow them but he was quickly cut off as even for him it was hard to keep up with a flying machine.
