Chapter-17 3rd Spirit ring

Hun Yu felt a surge of joy as he broke through level 30, finally reaching a milestone he had been striving for a long time. As he sat there, relishing in his achievement, he began to ponder what his next spirit ring ability might be.

However, as nightfall approached, Hun Yu's thoughts were interrupted by the realization that he had only one hour left before it was completely dark. Determined not to waste any more time, he refocused his attention on his next ability.

But time seemed to slip away from him regardless. Before he knew it, an hour had passed, and darkness had descended upon the land. Frustrated, he made his way to his bed, hoping to get some rest before the sun rose again. However, sleep evaded him, and he spent hours tossing and turning, his mind racing with thoughts of his next ability. Eventually, the sun began to rise, and its bright rays shone directly into his eyes, jolting him awake.

With a groan, Hun Yu headed to the kitchen to make himself some food, hoping to start his day off right. After eating, he headed towards the nearby river to wash his face, the cool water refreshing him and clearing his mind.

As he made his way towards the training ground, Hun Yu couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building within him. He was going to meet Master Yun.

As he waited.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Master Yun appeared in his sight. Hun Yu's heart raced as he approached the master. After exchanging greetings with Master Yun, Hun Yu began to tell him about his breakthrough and his thoughts on his next spirit ring ability. Master Yun listened carefully and nodded thoughtfully as Hun Yu spoke.

"Congratulations on your breakthrough, Hun Yu," Master Yun said. "It's a significant achievement to reach level 30. For your next spirit ring ability, have you considered what kind of attribute you want it to be?"

Hun Yu paused to think. "I was thinking of something related to speed," he said. "Perhaps a speed boost or an ability that allows me to move more quickly."

Master Yun nodded. "Speed is an excellent attribute to have, especially for someone like you who focuses on close combat. However, I would caution you not to neglect your other skills. Remember, a well-rounded spirit master is more formidable than one who relies solely on one attribute."

Hun Yu nodded in agreement. "I understand, Master Yun. I will keep that in mind."

"Good," Master Yun said, clapping Hun Yu on the shoulder. "Now, let's get to training. I have some new techniques to show you."

They spent the next several hours training, with Master Yun teaching Hun Yu new techniques and refining his existing skills. Hun Yu was a diligent student, and he worked hard to master each technique. As the day wore on, he grew increasingly tired and his movements became slower and less precise.

"You're getting sloppy, Hun Yu," Master Yun said. "You need to rest and regain your energy before we continue."

Hun Yu nodded, grateful for the break. He made his way back to his room and collapsed onto his bed, exhausted but content. He had made progress in his training, and he knew that with each passing day, he was one step closer to becoming a powerful spirit master.

As the next day arrived without warning, Master Yun informed me that he would be taking me to acquire my third spirit ring.

After some time of waiting, Master Yun finally arrived, and we departed towards the Star Duo Great Forest. It took us a day to reach the forest, and after several days of searching, we still had not found a suitable wind type spirit beast for me.

We continued deeper into the Star Duo Great Forest, and after nine days of searching, Master Yun noticed something and directed us towards that direction. As we arrived, we saw a hawk perched on a tree branch.

Master Yun introduced this spirit beast to me as the Wind Hawk. He explained that it was known for its agility and speed, and that its age was estimated to be around 4,000 years old. He then asked Hun Yu to fight this spirit beast to test its abilities.

Hun Yu stood in front of the Wind Hawk, his eyes locked onto the spirit beast. The Wind Hawk was known for its agility and speed, and Hun Yu knew that it would be a difficult opponent to defeat.

The fight began, with Hun Yu making the first move. He shot an arrow towards the Wind Hawk, but it easily dodged the attack, soaring through the air with its powerful wings. Hun Yu tried to keep his distance from the Wind Hawk, using his accuracy and distance-based spirit abilities to land precise hits from afar.

The Wind Hawk was not deterred, however, and it launched a swift attack towards Hun Yu. Hun Yu barely had time to react, but he managed to dodge the attack just in time. The two opponents continued to exchange blows, with Hun Yu using his holy bow to fire arrows at the Wind Hawk and the Wind Hawk using its razor-sharp talons to slash at Hun Yu.

Despite his best efforts, Hun Yu was struggling to keep up with the Wind Hawk's speed and agility. The spirit beast was too quick for him, and he was unable to land any significant hits. Hun Yu knew that he needed to come up with a new strategy if he wanted to win this fight.

Suddenly, an idea struck him. He realized that the Wind Hawk was so focused on dodging his arrows that it was leaving itself open to attack. Hun Yu seized the opportunity and fired a shot directly at the Wind Hawk's talon as it was coming in for an attack. The arrow hit its mark, and the talon was disabled.

The Wind Hawk let out a cry of pain and frustration, but it did not give up. It continued to fight, using its remaining talon to try and take down Hun Yu. Hun Yu, however, had regained his confidence, and he was now able to keep up with the Wind Hawk's movements.

Finally, after a grueling battle, Hun Yu managed to land a decisive hit on the Wind Hawk, taking it down. He breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that he had emerged victorious.

Master Yun watched the fight with keen interest,

impressed by Hun Yu's determination and skill.

He approached Hun Yu and praised him for his

performance, telling him that he had great

potential to become a powerful spirit master.

I picked up my dagger and put an end to the hawk's misery. As the creature took its last breath, a shimmering purple ring emerged from its body. I sat down and started absorbing the spirit ring, feeling its energy flowing into me. After some time, I successfully absorbed the ring. As I opened my eyes, I noticed that there were now three rings in front of me, one yellow and two purple, pulsating with an otherworldly energy.
