Heaven Dou Level

In a training ground, Haotian, Meijing and Biyun stood surrounded by ice while three people wearing the Heaven Duo Imperial Academy's uniform laid unconscious in front of them.

This had been the test for the three to classify them, a 3vs3 fight against other students.

In Heaven Dou Imperial Academy, students and teachers are classified into three different big groups. The Tiny Heaven for new students lower than rank 25 and Spirit Ancestor teachers. The Reaching Heaven for students between rank 25 and 30 and Spirit King teachers. Finally, it would be the Heaven Dou for students higher than rank 30 and teachers higher than rank 60. Being the students' maximum age 25.

Haotian's group's opponents were all from the Heaven Dou group, being the three of them spirits elders in the lower ranks. They had even been decided to be candidates to participate in the next Continental Tournament held in 1 and a half years as part of the secondary team.

Haotian's group was surpassed by cultivation, but they easily disposed of them. Haotian's group's coordination, strength and even the spirits' quality all far surpassed their rivals, making it for an easy victory, restraining with Biyun's flames while Haotian and Meijing took them out, their opponents unable to show their strength.

Qin Ming who was the referee nodded at them, in his head he was already planning for their future. However, the people that had come as an audience, having listened about the test, had dumfounded faces as their expectations of a quick and one-sidedly fight was correct, but on the other way. Who would have thought that 3 spirits elder would lose so one-sidedly against three spirit grandmasters?

"Good job" Qin Ming said "You had passed with flying colors, with this you are all accepted at the Heaven D-" "Wait a moment!" A shout resounded, stopping Qin Ming's speech.

"Poof!" From the sky a winged person came with great speed, landing over them. Wearing a blue suit with a cap, with short blond hair and brown eyes, she was Yu Feng.

Yu Feng pointed at Haotian's group "I challenged you to a fight!" She said with a determined face.

"Feng, there's no need. They already had shown their strength" Qin Ming said.

"I will be the one to decide!" Yu Feng shouted "I will show them my strength."

Before Qin Ming was about to talk, Haotian stepped forward "I don't mind fighting another. The last ones feel short"

Qin Ming looked at the two and sighed "As you like." He stepped back, letting space for them to fight.

"I'll start!" Yu Feng jumped, extending his wings and flying over, three spirit rings appearing under her, two yellows and a purple. She extended her wings and her first ring shined. Her wings became sharper and she started flapping it, shooting feathers like daggers.

Haotian at the same time he manifested his rings, he made them shine for an instant, not being noticed to use a skill by anyone, making it seem like his simple manifestation. Appearing over his hands an iced sword surrounded by thin ice.

Haotian swung his sword creating a wind pressure over it while making shine his first ring to pretend. His sword plus the wind, deflecting all the incoming feathers.

"Not bad, but take this!" Yu Feng's third ring shined, she extended her hands over Haotian, a green shadow bird surged from her hands, shooting towards Haotian.

Haotian pierced his sword over the ground, making his second ring shine. Flames surged from his sword, creating an ice wall in front of him.

"Boom!" The bird hit the ice wall, destroying it. However, it also exploded with the contact, unable to even graze Haotian's body.

Haotian looked bored at Yu Feng "Is this all you've got?"

"Y-you!" Yu Feng shouted offended, her first ring shined again. She flapped her wings, these times shooting even more feathers.

"Aww!" Haotian yawned, more flames surged from his sword, the feathers frosted, unable to reach Haotian.

"If this is all that you got, there's no need to continue fighting. You can stay there flying around" Haotian mocked.

"I will show you my strength!" Yu Feng spun her body as she dived down towards Haotian gaining momentum, shooting herself towards Haotian.

Seeing her, Haotian wasn't impressed. He let go of his sword and just before Yu Feng was about to hit him, he jumped towards her.

Yu Feng was spinning at great speed, being difficult to calculate her movements, but it wasn't a problem for Haotian's superior kinetic vision. Haotian extended his right arm towards her.

"Bang!" Haotian caught Yu Feng's foot, letting it hit his palm and receiving the strength with all the accumulated momentum, stopping Yu Feng's movements.

"H-how?" Yu Feng was shocked, not only her attack was stopped, by Haotian wasn't even injured and he didn't even use his spirit. His body was strong enough to stop her attack.

"Your strength is too weak" Haotian said keeping his grip "The only passable would be your speed but you don't use it, all your attacks being too straightforward" Yu Feng flinched listening to the speed part.

She kicked him with her free leg, but like the other, it was caught by Haotian's other hand.

Haotian made a strange look looking at Yu Feng. Seeing himself gripping both feet of Yu Feng, forcing her to open her legs, Haotian regretted that Yu Feng was wearing pants, this would be far better if she was wearing a skirt.

"Bastard" She tried to free herself, her first ring shined. Her sharp wings were swung towards Haotian.

Haotian released her, crossing both hands while jumping backward, focusing his strength over his arms blocking the wings attacking at him.

'He is dangerous at close combat' Yu Feng jumped backward, pushing with her wings, trying to fly away from Haotian.

However, Haotian wouldn't let her. He had jumped towards his sword, taking it quickly. His both rings shined as he swung his sword, a blade formed by blue flames shot towards her.

She found herself unable to dodge it, her wings too rigid due to her first skill to even try to avoid changing direction.

Yu Feng closed her eyes as the blade hit her, engulfing her. She could only feel a little cold, but nothing more. However, she found herself unable to continue flying. Looking at her wings, she found them completely frozen! Haotian had aimed only the wings and he even took out the sharpness of the attack, focusing on freezing.

Without being able to use her wings, Yu Feng fell to the ground. She closed her eyes and covered her head with her arms as it was the most that she was able to do. It was over 8 meters, so it would be a good hit.

However, there wasn't any hit nor any damage, she found herself falling over something comfy and warm. As she opened her eyes, she saw a pair of charming purple eyes looking straight at her. It was Haotian who had caught her just as she fell, holding her in a princess carry.

"Are you fine?" Haotian smiled charmingly at her. Yu Feng's face turned deep red, seeing Haotian's handsome face so near.

"E-eto" She tried to say something but couldn't in her nervous state.

"I suppose this is my win" Haotian smirked.

Yu Feng finally seemed to realize the situation, being carried by Haotian while being looked at by a lot of other students, her face becoming even redder. "Let me go!" She shouted contorting, forcing Haotian to let her go.

She pushed him, creating distance between both. Yu Feng pointed at Haotian with her arm extended, trembling a little "D-don't be too conceited for this win" she said embarrassed "I will win next time! I will show you my true strength, forcing you to accept defeat."

"We can repeat this any moment you want" Haotian grinned, causing Yu Feng to turn even redder.

"I-I won't lose next time!" She shouted extending her wings again, shooting quickly flying over, escaping from the place.

'She's kind of cute, blushing like that' Haotian thought.

"Mhm!" Qin Ming coughed taking the attention "Yu Feng is usually kind of active, wanting to challenge anyone that he thought strong. Please forgive him, he doesn't do it with bad intentions, it's only to become stronger."

"Don't worry, it's not a problem" Haotian said smiling.

Qin Ming nodded gratefully "Like I was saying before this interruption, you all have been accepted to the Heaven Dou level. You will move to your new dormitory and you will have access to most of the facilities and the best classes."

A maid and a butler appeared and bowed to them "They would guide you to your next dormitory, everything had already been moved."

Haotian's group left the training ground, leaving a curious audience chatting behind them, gossiping about what they had seen today.

As they were walking to the dormitories, Meijing clung to Haotian's sleeve "What happen, Mei?"

Meijing glanced at him sharply "You want her?" Meijing hadn't seen Yu Feng as a girl at first, thinking of her as a boy, but she knew about Haotian. For his reactions. it was clear that Yu Feng was also a girl and that he was interested.

"I might" Haotian answered.

Meijing simply nodded, shooting a sharp glance towards Yu Feng.

It wasn't long before Haotian and the girls separated, the dormitories being separated between boys and girls like it was normal. Haotian said goodbye, promising to meet again at lunch after seeing the dormitories.

As Meijing and Biyun were following the maid towards the dormitory, Meijing's gaze turned cold "Yu Feng, eh?" she whispered, "I'll need to be wary of her." A trace of killing intent showing in her eyes.
