Only her subconscious knew what she was unintentionally trying to protect herself from by messing with her brain. Cyrene would fall asleep at night just to wake up the next day with no memories of what had happened the previous day. It was amnesia, only that her condition was neither getting better nor worst. She was just there doing everything in her power to get by each day. But her boring static life was about to get a little bit interesting as people who never knew she existed started showing interest in her all of a sudden. How is she going to cope with all the attention? Would her complicated health issues let her be a normal young lady again? As they tried to take advantage of her, was she ever going to learn to stand up for herself despite the fact that she barely remembers anything? Doomed To Oblivion will you take through a rollercoaster experience as you dive deeper into the life of Cyrene.

CHAPTER ELEVEN:...something I'm supposed to know that I don't.

June stood up abruptly from the bed with fear written all over her face.

Did she find out? I thought that she had memory issues? She’s going to hate me if truly she meant what she just said. Countless thoughts ran through June’s mind as she wondered why Cyrene said those words to her.

June cleared her throat and tried to recollect herself again but it was too late. Cyrene saw everything, those emotions that ran across her face as well the fear in her eyes. That was no way to react to a joke, unless there was actually something that Cyrene was supposed to know which she had no knowledge of.

“What do mean Cyrene?” June finally asked with awkward laughter as she slowly moved to sit close to Cyrene again.

“I was teasing you but obviously, you reacted as if there’s something I’m supposed to know that I don’t.” Cyrene stated while she looked at June to provide a reasonable response.
