UNEXPECTED FUN

There was one thing about the planet that cought most of the team members of guard. The thing was that even though the planet was covered in snow and ice the atmosphere on the planet was random. It could feel warm at one point and the next it would be windy then a blizzard might hit or it might start raining. The team was given permission to leave the ship. Professor Winsel was the last to leave the ship and he came out with a device that looked like a remote. When he got off he tapped a button on the device and at the same time the ship started to transform. Parts of the ship would extend and start rotating at random while others would split apart or join together. Everything looked random and yet when it was done it looked like an outpost. From the outside it looked like a bunker. It had two parts. The first was a big circular foundation that was a little above the ground and it served as a platform for the top part. From the platform going up a square wall had risen up and a metalic door was facing them. The whole thing was quite simple from outside.

"Welcome to your one week home wanna go on a tour". Professor Winsel said. Everyone went back inside and professor Winsel sent them on a tour of the outpost. Just behind the door there was a huge empty room and at the center of this room was a device that looked like an electric generator. To the right side of the room there were many rooms that looked like they were fused together but there were five doors which had equal distance between them and a sign on top of the wall above the doors that glowed the words 'Living Quarters'. Opposite to the rooms was a room on the right side that was two rooms big. This had the sign display the words 'Control Center'. Beside it was a room that was a little bigger than the living quarters that also had the living quarters sign on it. Then off to the back of the huge room was a room as big as the control center and it had the sign that stated 'Storage room' displayed on it. Professor Winsel informed the team that the storage room was to keep all of their resources along with anything useful they might find on this planet. When entering the control room it was somehow bigger on the inside. It was a huge room that contained all the computer equipment and everything needed to control the base hence the name. It had computers designated for outpost defense system which included the force field control and the weapon system. Then near it was a huge screen that took a huge place on the wall. It wasn't on currently but it was very important. Then there were outpost transformation control options. There were five different options. One was the ship they came in. The other was the outpost transformation they were currently in. The third was a vehicle mode that was used for fast travels on land. The fourth option was a submarine option for underwater explorations and finally the fifth option was a battle robot option that currently had a lock icon on it. Professor Winsel stated that it was a military grade ultra mech that was used for dealing with very powerful enemies and were required to only be controlled buy rank B or above Domain masters. "Sir what is your rank" Speedy asked. "Yeah you actually never told us" John continued. "Well you never asked" professor Winsel said. "We are asking now" Mia interjected. "Sorry it's classified information" Professor Winsel said. "You just don't want to activate the mech option" Speedy said "precisely" He answered.

Professor Winsel went over a few more functions of the outpost before allowing the students to start exploring.

When they stepped out of the outpost the team decided to travel together. They met a few beasts on the way and the students would take turns dealing with the beasts. They had wondered into a forest. The forest was not that dence but rather they had spaces between the trees. The students decided to train their skills and while attacking the beasts the team realized that John hasn't really been using attack skills on the beasts. Come to think of it they never saw him using any attack skills other than spacial quake. Spacial quake is skill he unlocked while training in the last week before the expedition. He unlocked 3 abilities in total. Spacial quake is a skill where he would surround his body but mainly his fists with spacial element which allows him to crack and destroy the space around and object causing horrendous damage to the international organs of his enemies. It had become his favorite attack skill but what the others didn't know was he had only 3 attack skills other than shambles and the rest took immense amounts of spacial energy to activate other than spacial quake. This mad it so he relied on spacial quake a lot as it can kill the beasts on this planet in one hit. Due to this development the boys started a beast race to see who could kill the most beasts and collect their origin crystals. Origin crystals were crystals filled with a beast's origin energy and can be used as an energy source for many weapons. Lazer weapons, Plasma weapons, energy weapons etc.

The team decided to call it a day when the sun started to set later in the day. On their way back the boys were still having their little kill count so every now and again there would be a beast killed. The team managed to get to the outpost before midnight and could see the force field was already activated. They each went into their room and it turns out that Monk actually won the beast kill race.

Somewhere on the planet near the outpost but still quite far away a boy with long pointed ears and clear white hair with not a single speck of dust or dirt to be seen was moving through the forest. On closer inspection he was floating and his feet were not touching the ground. He was quite tall and although he looked skinny if you payed attention you could see he had quite bulky muscles. He kept moving through the forest till he reached a part of the forest where multiple beasts lay with their origin cores removed. "Well, even though I didn't kill them this is enough food for a week. Am grateful for whoever did this although I also wonder why there are others on this planet". With him quickly assessing the situation he stretched his hands in the direction of the beasts and the bodies of the beasts started floating after him. He collected the bodies of all dead beasts in the area and kept moving till he reached a cave that looked to be at least a 30 minute walk from the outpost.

In the opposite direction of the cave this time a good 17 hours walk from the base a pitch black murky smoke-like substance started forming into a circular portal like shape. And out stepped a shadowy figure with glowing yellow eyes. He looked to be hugely injured and was missing an arm. "That puny annoying yet somehow incredibly powerful race. How insufferable. I was sent on a simple mission and end up fighting against them". He said as he pulled out an orange orb with his remaining arm. "At least I got the soul of a being that has incredible potential. With such potent abilities I should be healed in about 5 days. Anyway where am I. I might as well do a little exploration of my own". He said as he placed the orb in an interdimensional storage. He then slowly started walking in the direction of the base. With his speed it would take him double the time it would take an average human to walk in the same direction non stop to get to the base. It would take him two days.
