THE TEAM

The news affected the class a whole different way than expected as a lot of the students didn't train that much and didn't have the energy points to survive in prolonged fights. John had returned home that day with a different thought than everyone else. He was thinking about his new skill as he didn't get the chance to read the description. When he returned he went directly into his (Spiritual World) and checked his system only for his heart to drop at what he saw. The skill he had unlocked and used during the test was gone. He reopened his system multiple times but still couldn't find it. He was confused and incredibly disappointed because the skill looked powerful. He came out of his Spiritual World and went to sleep because he was tired.

The next day when he went to school professor Winsel didn't show up. The whole class waited for a while but he still didn't come so after a few more minutes of waiting John entered his Spiritual World to cultivate. As soon as he entered professor Winsel entered the classroom. "Sorry am late class I something came up last minute but I managed to make it in time". He said. Since there was no way of contacting someone who is cultivating the class continued.

John came out of the spiritual World when the day had ended and everyone was going home.

Professor Winsel had left the school so he didn't see him and his sister didn't tell him anything so he assumed that professor Winsel didn't come to school today.

The week continued with professor Winsel teaching the class a few ways to gather energy points faster and the two siblings would practice everything they learnt when they got home.

The last week before the expedition had begun and on the first day of the week professor Winsel gave the basic information of the planet to the students. The students were handed a pamphlet that contained the basic information of the planet and some rules of the expedition.

The planets name was Verglas and it was a planet covered in a thin coating of ice. The planet is known for housing monsters who can have the attribute of either ice or lightning sometimes even both. The planet is large hence not much of it has been explored. The students of the special domains class are to form groups of 5 and are going to be led by a rank A examiner. The job of the students is to survive for a week and document everything they see that hasn't been discovered. The scores of the students will be calculated by how far they were able to explore and everything the students discovered. Additionally every examiner will be given a tracker an emergency alert button and a force field generator. The generator will provide absolute defence for as long as it has power so it's been powered to last a week. The examiner is to do the bare minimum to help the students and are only to act if the life of the students are in danger. The shield generator can not be moved so wherever they set it up will be the permanent camp until the expedition is over.

There were a few other things on the pamphlet including the names of some beasts they were likely to encounter. The students were also encouraged to form their groups of 5 before the end of the week so things can go smoothly on the final day. Professor Winsel then went on to inform the students that due to the fact that the planet was huge and vastly unexplored the whole school would take part in this but unlike this class the other classes would be forming groups of 15 with one examiner each. With the briefings done professor Winsel told the students that they have the whole week to prepare. There would be no school for the rest of the week.

John, upon hearing the news went straight to speedy to ask if he would join his team. Speedy agreed and while they were planning on looking for other members Mia and Cora came over. "Hey brother do you mind if we team up". Mia asked. "Sorry I already have a team" John replied. "But I only see the two of you". "Yeah so?" "Well it's not much of a team with only two people is it". "And?" "Bro are you joking or are you that slow?. Speedy interjected. "What do you mean". "It's obvious they want the four of us to be a team and plus it helps us by narrowing our search for more teammates to one". "Are you sure we should form a team with them though". "Positive, also if you don't accept I will gladly relax while you go searching for other members to join". "Good point. I agree to the merging of our teams". "Great, sooo, who's the final member". "Why do I still have to search for the final member and aren't you supposed to be popular". "Yeah I am". "You are Lazy you know that?" "yeah, I do". "Stop doing that". "Doing what?" "Giving short answers. it's getting annoying". "Ok". "yeah that stop it" "Ok". Before John could say anything else a boy approached them. "Hi, My name is Monk can I join your team". "Sure". Mia said before John could speak. Truthfully John was happy about this because it meant he wouldn't have to go member hunting.

With the team set they registered their team members and were asked of a name and leader. John was unanimously voted as the leader even though he didn't want to be. The name of the team was set and it would only be revealed on the day of the expedition. With this the team set up a meeting spot and for the rest of the week they would continuously meet to train discuss their strengths and weaknesses and occasionally just hang out and chill. Everything was set.
