Episode 5 - A Final Leep

The Tardis then tilts to its side and one of the doors to the hallway opens, Kathy then slides down the floor of the Tardis and she screams "DOCTOR!".

The Doctor watches in shock as Kathy falls along the console room floor and down through a hallway. He holds onto the console.

The Doctor sees sparks coming from the console as he holds onto a panel of the console, trying not to fall too.

The Doctor then grabs his hand up, pulling a lever, and the Tardis starts to sit back up normally.

The Doctor looks towards the hallway in shock and he says "you could be anywhere".

The Doctor turns around and he looks at the console and says "what have you done!".

The Tardis doors then open by themselves and The Doctor sees a black hole nearby.

Kathy's eyes slowly open, as they open, she sees herself underwater.

Kathy swims up, and she takes a deep breath as she sees herself inside the swimming pool.

Kathy swims over to the side and gets out the swimming pool.

Kathy looks around and she says "Doctor?". Kathy grabs a towel from a chair near the pool and she starts to pat herself down.

Kathy then rubs her head, and she says "ouch".

Kathy then runs over to a door and as she pressed a button, she sees a massive hallway with hundreds of doors. Kathy stares in shock.

Back in the console room, The Doctor continues to look out of the door at the black hole.

The Doctor shakes his head, running back to the console and he says "something's wrong, why are we here? We're supposed to be going to Barock, why won't you let me?".

The Doctor then feels the console, connecting with it. The Doctor then says "you're trying to keep me away aren't you, you don't want me to go? Why not?".

The Doctor then lets go and he says "well, I have to go, I have to find out, I know it's dangerous, but we have too! Now help me find Kathy! This is your last chance, or I'll shut you down".

The Doctor then turns around as a door opens to the hallway.

The Doctor runs towards the door, and down the hallway.

Kathy stands up in a room, she looks around, but sees herself back in the cafe, looking over her boyfriend's body.

Kathy stares in shock, shaking her head "no, please!".

Kathy breaks down, falling to her knees and screams "Alex? Wake up! Please!".

Footsteps are heard coming from behind Kathy, Kathy then turns around and sees Leon.

Leon looks at her "he died alone. You weren't there. It's your fault. You ran away. You left with The Doctor, in hopes you could escape the reality-" Kathy screams at him "WHAT'S THE REALITY!" Leon smiles at Kathy "you're still mourning him".

Walking down the hallway, Kathy looks around at all the doors.

Kathy sees a door that is marked '11'.

Kathy stares at the door and then walks over to it.

Kathy pushes on the door, opening it.

As Kathy walks in, she looks inside a room that has bunkbeds.

Kathy then sees a vez inside a glass casing.

Kathy stares at a photo of the 11th Doctor with Amy and Rory, and then another with River Song, and then also another with Clara Oswald.

Kathy then looks down at a book that has 'Memories' written on it.

Kathy then rubs her head again, and she falls to the floor.

The Doctor walks down the hallway, looking around.

Suddenly, he falls onto the floor feeling woozy.

The Doctor then starts to hear voices...

The 4th Doctor's voice is heard "you know, the very powerful, and the very stupid have one thing in common-".

The 11th Doctor's voice is heard "good men don't need rules. Today is not a good day to find out why I have so many".

The 12th Doctor's voice is heard "do you think I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?".

The 6th Doctor's voice is heard "a little gratitude wouldn't irretrievably damage my ego".

The Doctor holds his head, and says "what is happening!".

Kathy stands on the side of the road, she holds her handbag and she stands there with tears all down her face.

Alex passed her down the street, but he stops and then says "hey there, you okay?" Kathy looks at him, and she smiles "yeah, well...no. Just got abandoned on a date, so".

Alex shakes his head "really? How the hell could anyone leave you?" Kathy looks at him "yeah, well it happened, but anyway, I should really get home, I have work in the morning" Alex nods at her "well, anyways, I'm Alex" Kathy smiles at him "I'm Kathy" Alex nods at her "well, Kathy. Maybe I can have your number? I promise I won't abandon you on a date" Kathy then smiles at him "sure" Alex smiles at her.

The Doctor slowly stands up, still feeling woozy.

The Doctor looks ahead and he says "Ka-".

The Doctor then starts to hear more voices...

Amy's voice is heard "I got my spaceship, I got my boys! My work here is done".

Martha's voice is heard "you know what? I am good!".

Rose's voice is heard "I am the badwolf, I create myself".

Clara's voice is heard "run you clever boy, and remember me".

Romana's voice is heard "oh yes. I'm only his assistant. He's the one you should be talking to. Or rather, listening to, if you have the stamina".

Donna's voice is heard "I'm a human being. Maybe not the stuff of legend but every bit as important as Time Lords, thank you".

Sarah-Jane's voice is heard "he was the most alive person I ever met".

The Doctor shouts "STOP!".

Back in the console room, the Tardis is making strange noises, and is heading closer and closer towards the black hole.

The console lights up red and the cloister bell starts to ring.

Kathy sits at her desk in Northdale Police Station, she looks at the clock which then hits 'Four PM'.

Kathy smiles and she stands up from her desk.

Kathy waves at Leon and says "I'll see you tomorrow" Leon nods at her "yeah, see you later".

Kathy continues to walk outside, as she walks over to her car, she sees Alex walking over at the other side of the road.

Kathy then smiles "hey stranger".

Alex then looks over at her and he smiles "oh, hey!".

Alex looks at the road, and he then crosses over to her.

Alex says "I'm still waiting on that call from you-" Kathy stares at him until Alex says "for our date?" Kathy laughs "well, I'm free now?" Alex nods "what have you got in mind?" Kathy smiles "there's a nice little cafe nearby, we can go there?" Alex nods at her "yeah, definitley" Kathy nods at him and she smiles.

Kathy stops near the cafe and Alex looks out of the window and nods "looks nice, come on".

Kathy and Alex sit inside the cafe drinking a coffee.

Kathy then points over at the counter and says "oh, look! They're hiring" Alex then smiles "oh awesome, I'm actually looking for a job" Kathy smiles at him "it would be pretty cool to work here" Alex nods "I'll go and ask them" Kathy nods at him "you should".

The Doctor opens his eyes, and he stands up, he hears the cloister bells ringing and he shouts "KATHY!".

The Doctor looks down a hallway that has numbers all on them, The Doctor looks over at door '11' and he runs over to it.

The Doctor then looks inside and he sees Kathy unconscious on the floor.

The Doctor runs over to her "Kathy?".

Kathy walks out of Northdale Police Station, where she sees Alex stood outside.

Alex then smiles "hey, how was work?" Kathy nods at him "it was fairly good. How about you? Hitting almost one year of working at the cafe, how you finding it?" Alex nods "it's the best job I've ever had, and all thanks to you" Kathy smiles "well, you know...I have that thing about me, don't I?" Alex smiles "you certainly do".

Alex then kisses Kathy on the lips.

Kathy and Alex walk together.

Alex then says "so, how are you holding up?" Kathy stares at him "what do you mean?" Alex then says "well, those Cyber things from Christmas, I mean. It's been a heck of a year" Kathy nods at him "yeah I know, but I also met my soulmate, so I suppose, it's also been a good year for me" Alex nods at her "oh yeah?" Kathy nods at him "definitley".

Alex then puts his hand into his pocket and he looks at a ring inside a box and he smiles.

Alex then puts it back into his pocket and says "so, I'm working tomorrow morning, but afterwards, I was thinking we can go and walk along the lake?" Kathy nods at him "yeah, what's the occasion?" Alex stares at her "well, I just thought it would be romantic" Kathy laughs and nods "yeah, alright then, I finish at three tomorrow, so I'll pick you up from work, how's that?" Alex nods at her "sounds good to me, let's go for a drink, come on" Kathy smiles at him.

The Doctor shouts "KATHY!".

Kathy's eyes open and she takes a deep breath and says "Doctor?" The Doctor smiles "come on, we need to get back to the console".

Kathy stands up and she says "what's going on? Why is everything weird?" The Doctor says "the Tardis is stopping us from going to Barock, it's taken us off course and is threatning us with a black hole, and also some sort of halluciantions. Don't give into it, alright?" Kathy then says "I know, but it's hard...all I keep seeing is him" The Doctor then says "who's him?" Kathy looks at The Doctor "Alex, he was my boyfriend, he died a few months before I met you, after I met you, you opened my eyes to the world, and I found the thing that killed him. I came with you, because I was fed up with mourning him and feeling sorry for myself" The Doctor stares her "come on, we need to get to the console".

Walking through the hallway, Kathy looks at The Doctor "are you not gonna say anything?" The Doctor then says "well, I'm sorry for your loss, but...you should have told me sooner, even in the Tardis, I could've done something...somehow, kept you on Earth" Kathy shakes her head and says "no, listen. Being with you, I've learned and saw some incredible things, things I never thought I'd ever even see. I'm not saying I'll move on from Alex by being with you, but I think I can find a way to live with it by being with you" The Doctor nods at her.

Walking into the console, Kathy looks at the door, which open again.

Kathy looks at the black hole, which is close.

The Doctor then says "we're getting closer! We need to get away from it".

Kathy turns around and she says "can you get us away?".

The Doctor puts his hand onto the console and says "come on old girl, please don't do this, take us where we need to go. I promise we'll be okay".

Kathy looks at The Doctor.

The Tardis doors then shut.

Kathy looks behind her at the doors and says "what's happening?".

The Doctor then feels the floor vibrating underneath his feet and he says "maybe hold onto something" Kathy then says "what?".

A massive explosion goes off near the console.

Smoke and fire fills the console room.

The Doctor and Kathy hold onto the railings around the console area.

Kathy screams "WHAT IS HAPPENING?".

The Docror then says "the Tardis is taking us to Barock".

Suddenly, the Tardis then crash lands, and Kathy screams.

The Doctor then stands up and he looks at Kathy "you alright?" Kathy nods "yeah, I think so" The Doctor looks at Kathy and says "listen, about earlier. I'm sorry, I mean back at the Dalek ship, I know you and Katrep were just trying to do the right thing, and I can understand now, after hearing what happened to your boyfriend why you might have done it. But there's always another way, always!" Kathy nods at him "I am sorry" The Doctor then smiles at her "me too".

Kathy walks over to The Doctor and the two of them hug.

The Doctor then says "well, anyway...we're here, you wanna go and check it out?" Kathy smiles at The Doctor "what's the worst that could happen?" The Doctor smiles.

Outside, the Tardis sits in a large muddy puddle, and surrounding it is an ash-filled planet with volcano's and fire.

Next Time:

The Doctor and Kathy walk together down a crumbly and rocky path.

Kathy goes to respond until the two of them are surrounded by the bear and human-like creatures.

The Doctor then shouts "LET HER GO".

The Rani watches it walk away and she then says "oh Doctor, are you really ready to find out what is happening".

The Doctor's eyes widen even more until he rubs his eyes and he looks up at The Rani's face.

The Rani then smiles "it's been a while, but hello Doctor, it's nice to see you again".

The Doctor then looks up at the creatures and he says "you turned a peaceful civilisation into an army!".

One of the creatures then smacks The Doctor around the head, knocking him out.

Next Time - Destiny of The Rani - The Doctor and Kathy arrive on the planet Barock, where the two of them soon discover a lot about what has happened. They find a familiar face who has befriended a race of creatures that live on the planet, and she turned them into soldiers.
