The first trial began and I smiled seeing the killer chosen. Albert Wesker. Unfortunately for him, while I was brought here so was Pyramid, and Mikaela, pointing at the living bioweapon I spoke.

"He is to be damned. Leave nothing for the Entity to reclaim."

Wesker and the survivors were surprised that I could speak, and Wesker quickly realized something was wrong with the situation. There were seven of us, not four. And two of us were entities who could and would fight back with a chance to permanently kill him. Although to increase that seemingly dawning realization I let Umbra, Mal0, and ISAC use robotic bodies or exoskeleton with Archaeane Sludge covering them to further out number the bioweapon. Wesker realized fairly quickly the number of entities who can and will kill him had increased suddenly. Before he could run and hide, we charged him while giving warcries. The survivors quickly scrambled to repair generators. Meanwhile Mikaela grinned at Wesker and Shadow Stepped all around him, beams of moonlight biting into his flesh.

He didn't like the magic bullshitery involved, and it just got worse for him.

The bioweapon was immediately on the defensive as we descended upon him like vultures. Mikaela taking pot shots at him whenever he let his guard down when either I or Pyramid wailed on him. His adaptive body struggled to keep up with us as we toyed with him to draw out his suffering. ISAC and Mal0 made a surprising team as the two Digital entities utilized aptly Werewolf SHD Tech and a more Crysis looking 40k robot to keep Wesker trapped in one location. Umbra meanwhile formed walls and spikes at random that were absolutely carnivorous towards the bioweapon. As whenever he hit either one he rapidly escaped it or else he'd be consumed and assimilated for one form of true death.

\\// Deathslinger POV, simultaneous trial \\//

Staring down the weird werewolf robot and armored robot I studied them closely. These two had invaded the trial somehow and were keeping me here where I stood. As if I moved they immediately attacked yet missed on purpose if the gouged out sections in the dirt were any indication. Grunting, I couldn't help but question what these two wanted. That is until the robot werewolf tossed a strange tablet at me with a glowing front.

Catching the object I could only stare confused at it.

[ISAC: Greetings Caleb Quinn, we're not here to fight you, no we're here to help you get out of this place. We both know what it's like to be used for gains and wanting to punish those doing it. You got your revenge Caleb, you got justice and were about to rest peacefully. Then the Entity changed that when you sat down in your old cell, it's used you for its own gains for long enough wouldn't you say?

Mal0: I'd have been gruff with speaking to you about why we're interfering, but it'd all be the same. While we are currently with someone nice to be with, we know all too well what your situation is like. You're a murderer sure, but so are we and our companions and that's fine. We like to kill honestly. And while the Human out of us would probably use you to kill like the Hellshire Warden did. It would probably be very minimal or not at all if you said you just wanted to build stuff. To reply to us though simply just tap that boxed area below then type out your reply or questions. As sadly unlike our Human we can't bypass the verbal restrictions.]

Looking at the two they just seemed to wait on me. Grunting I tapped the blue box on the tablet and a keyboard unlike a typewriter's keys popped up. Taking my time to carefully type out stuff, as I couldn't afford a mistake due to not being unable to erase typos though that seemed to amuse the two machines. Hitting the word send I watched as my text popped up under my alias, then two quick responses appearing.

[Deathslinger: Why should I trust that? Even though yes I do want to just rest and build. Not doing this anymore, since it's infuriating to be stuck working for something that doesn't care about me and will discard me once my use runs out. Just like everybody else has. But how can I trust your words? Your pal I want to believe. I want to believe what he said, but I just can't. I've been burnt too many times by those seeking my help to just trust you lot like that.

Mal0: You can erase mistakes by the way, just hit the arrow pointing to the left and it'll erase the mistake. As for if you should trust us? Fucking don't. You'd be a massive idiot to just do so when you've got no reason to. But trusting our Human is the good answer, he's upfront with everyone and well he's already determined you're worth giving a chance. How you want to take that is up to you cowboy is up to you, but putting your trust in him without knowing him beforehand is alright. He'll honestly feel repulsed by that and try to make you quit it while respecting your wishes. He did so to his wife once from what I saw in his memories, she for some reason instantly trusted him so he punched her in the face then helped her raise a hybrid human.

ISAC: Ah yes the day his wife met him and Ais, he certainly hit her violently with disgust that day. As for if you should trust us any, Mal0 is originally a sentient emotional support app for technology, mainly phones. Yet she's survived four different instances of the same universe dying all while being tortured or used by people. I am a tactical AI assistant, my creators and Agents often would take me for granted or mess with my code so much that it hurt me even when I wasn't sentient. Then one day I was pulled from my origins to a fantasy land as only one agent's assistant. That agent has treated me fairly well since we've met, he also took my budding sentience seriously, and has ever since listened to my input before doing anything dangerous.]

Smirking a bit at the two I had found some of their replies amusing. As that certainly does sound like the man I saw, even if only partially due to being able to recognize things about people. The other parts were strange, not the full picture, but from the short of it I understood somewhat. Groaning a sigh I talked with the two machines for a bit until off in the distant fog I saw and felt a trial DISAPPEAR with the Entity enraged. Then without any warning a group of seven dropped in on my trial, recognizing them all I involuntarily spoke.

"Well… fuck…"

Pausing I questioned what just happened and recognized that yes I just spoke. I spoke for the first time in so long that my voice was gravely and dead sounding. The Demi-God looked at me with a smirk on his lips before sticking a hand out towards me.

"Hello, I'm Dakota Carter. I just destroyed Albert Wesker and pissed the Entity off while shunting the trials off from being escaped from. And in the process I'm currently protecting the other survivors and Killers. Well the killers I want to give a chance to for them to do something better with their lives. You however are my first stop and while I won't force you I'd like you to tag along Caleb Quinn. If you don't want to do so, then fair enough man. I'll just put your tired soul to rest and send you to my budding heaven to rest and build away and that'll be it."

Looking at the madman I couldn't help but cackle. He may of seemed like he just threatened me, but that was a fucking promise not a threat. His words also were… unnaturally free from deception as he seemed like he couldn't care less about trying to do so even though he could. He just spoke and that was it. The air around him was also suffocatingly dangerous yet welcoming at the same time. Shaking my head I took the freaks hand.

"Your machines win… I'll tag along and help you with your kids. But if you use me like the others I'll kill you."

"Pffftt… good luck with that Caleb, I've been dusted and still came back swinging like an ape on cocaine and coffee."

This should be interesting… Why does it feel like I'm with my dad again after so long?
