Xianwu seeing his figure approaching towards her asked "Mr. what are you doing here?" the man stood straight panting "Young lady, today is the full moon night. I am guarding the place in case I can try to stop any child who leaves. What are you doing here?" Xianwu replied "Mr. I am doing the same, some friends of mine are already guarding over the South and west. Don't worry… this time we'll definitely won't let a single child get harmed." She confirmed. The man nodded. Xianwu in return asked "Mr. I heard that there is building around here, which was sealed with talismans by Heavenly Supremes due to its evil nature. Can you explain what's going on?"

The man slightly shocked answered "Young lady… that house in the middle of the forest is cursed. 7 years ago there was a woman who travelled from far to our village. She lived here with a three year old son. There was no male in the family. We also knew them and the village also met them a lot. They were a very happy and kind family but suddenly one day, we found the dead body of the child floating in the river. When the mother found out she was enraged and crazy and kept saying she didn't believe it and mostly shouted 'he who lives in the heavenly city did it'."

Grasping a breath he continued "We and some other villagers thought she had gone crazy so we restricted her to her own house. Some of us would check her out of remorse and pity but when we went towards the house, screams would always be heard. She would always be saying 'he in the heavenly city did it, he killed my child. He in the heavenly city is a murderer who killed my child!' after a while she became crazier and started to curse the villagers as well saying 'she will curse our children for rest of our lives and we too, are sided with the one in the heavenly city and for never once will we be happy." He told. Xianwu listened with a heavy heart.

"We tried everything we could to help her but her curses never stopped to the extend she found us as her enemy as well. So the villagers couldn't do anything but leave her alone. In the end we too left her. The woman started to do rituals of waking up the dead and many more but after two weeks we found out she committed suicide in anger and remorse. In the end we couldn't do anything. We prepared a funeral for her. Soon afterwards many voices started coming from the house and same curses were to be heard. The villagers were terrified and wrote a letter to the heavenly Supremes to help us, some were sent with accepting the request and they came and sealed the house advising us to stay far away. Since then, none of us happened to go near it…" The man concluded.

Xianwu was out of breath as she asked "What did the one in the heavenly city killed my child meant?" The man nodded in rejection replying "Young lady we don't know… the woman came alone here there was no male with her, hence she kept cursing someone from the heavenly city."

Xianwu nodded affirming "Mr. you've helped me a lot so help me just once more… kindly shout whenever you see a child running away, or anything which seems unusual to you. Call me or shout for me please." she pleaded. The man nodded as he replied "Young lady, we have no enmity with the heavenly Supremes nor do we despise them. Whenever they come to us they help us. In return we too will help you." He assured. Xianwu nodded. The man was about to leave suddenly they heard a shout. It was Shijei's and the same time it was inside Xianwu's head that was Senlin's "Xianwu! 3 children are escaping!! From the north side where are you? Hurry fast. Their speed is abnormal and they are continuously going inside the forest hurry!!"

Xianwu in a second rushed looking behind she reported "Mr. some children escaped from the houses of north, kindly watch out! And kindly calm the villagers down." Xianwu took the way towards the east while the man took the west. The city was in mothers screams and fathers panic the sight was unbearable. Senlin shouting inside Xianwu's head "Where are you?! Hurry up!" Xianwu replied "Senlin the river is too deep for me to cross so early. It might take while. No matter where ever it goes don't stop following it." Instantly she heard Shijei "We are following them, they are running very fast! Argh! How come kids are so smart these days?" he questioned. Xianwu suddenly remembered Xiao yin. Senlin spoke up "Don't be a dumb head! Just by looking at them the kids are possessed! Neither can they hear our voices or sense us following them."

Xianwu in shock remembered what the man told her as she thought "Possessed?! Could it be what the women said that she will curse the children for the rest of their lives…?" Xianwu called "Both of you don't stop chasing them. I know what is happening. Wait for me, I'll really fix this unbearable mess..." Suddenly Xianwu paused running. Her breathing stopped for a second. Her face becoming pale and her eyes widened. In front of her were large beasts covered with oozing black smoke with red eyes. They were wolves. Demonic wolves. The same ones Xianwu thought she had seen before in the forest.

Senlin called from the group transmission "Xianwu! What's wrong? Why did you stop?" Xianwu had nowhere to run in front of her were bloodthirsty demonic wolves, who destroyed her whole kingdom, her people and her home. Fear took over her, unable to move. Fa ling instinctively stood shaped like a crescent blade in front of her. "What are they doing here? They were… they were all dead in the past?! How can it be …" she thought unable to grasp the situation. Only two words escaped her mouth "Demonic wolves…" she called. Senlin and Shijei were shocked.

Shijei in panic roared "Crown Princess! Where are you? Tell me?!" hearing his voice Xianwu's eyes widened as she remembered the past. "Ah… there was something like this in the past too right? Really? Doesn't history repeat itself too early?" However something like this wasn't heard by the other two who were in fright to choose what to do. Xianwu replied "Senlin, Shijei… for once trust me. Follow the children, I promise I'll be back." It's true, Yue Xianwu in the past ruled the blade. She lost the right to yield it but, it didn't mean she wasn't able to use it. Senlin and Shijei without a word followed the children as Xianwu heard Senlin "After saying something so big like a hero, if you don't come back, then remember! I'll bring you back from the depths of hell!"

If Xianwu was a princess right now, she would've gotten a penalty for talking to her like this but Xianwu smiled. Her eyes were blazing with anger. By their looks Xianwu was scared, the only beasts she feared were here in front of her… the only beasts who ruined her kingdom, her life and her beloved people everything! But anger had taken over it all. Fa ling, taking Xianwu's hairs turned himself into a long curved blade like a crescent moon boomerang. It was sharp from the very edge. The wolves leaped on her and with a swift step, she killed it. She stepped back and twirled around and killed the other two. With next three graceful steps, she threw the blade killing the six of them. Looking from far it looked like a young girl dancing under the moonlight with a blade.

It looked Viscous and cruel, with her two steps more she killed the approaching four. Their heads slit in perfect elegance. Xianwu's hairs which were once caramel brown were drenched with red blood. However the demonic wolves approached twice the number regenerating and one stronger than before. Xianwu panted heavily. It had been thousand years since she killed, it was hard and her limbs were aching. Fa ling on the other hand was tired as well. "What in the world...? "Why are they here? How did they come back? When will they finish? I also have to… go to them. Is this the end?" she thought standing up.

She danced once more twirling around, throwing her blade which in turn pierced more than ten of the demonic wolves. Even so, it was no near safe. Fa ling had already retracted himself as a hair strand. And the Demonic wolves were thrice the number she had seen before regenerating stronger and stronger surrounding her. There gazes menacing and ready to devour. Xianwu smiled. In the end she had no choice. They once again, had defeated her… just like they did, in the past. Turning around Xianwu gazed at the river before her and the instant the wolves approached her she jumped right into it.
