(Part 3)

Senlin and Shijei walked outside as Xianwu followed. In surprise to Xianwu, Xiao yin in front of her was… Gardening!! Senlin and Shijei looked at him with a dotted expression. Xiao yin was sitting at the cottage's door. He continuously tried to settle down the moist soil into two identical pots. Burrowing the seeds in each of them he watered. Shijei looked at Senlin with a gulp who was boiling with anger out of the wind. "Why are you looking like that? You are already scary enough no need for more makeup!" he assured her. Senlin took a deep breath "First is he a heavenly supreme or not!" her words evil. Xianwu cleared her throat "I thought you felt a wicked aura from him, how can he be a heavenly supreme?" she asked.

Senlin continued her tricks "Then a ghost check. No matter how strong a ghost is, they hate water and once they touch water they'll melt!" she whispered. Xianwu wondered "I don't think so… he even washed the berries at the water spring…" Xiao yin with a glimpse of Xianwu gleamed into a smile "Sister…!" he called but his gleam suddenly turned into a ferocious frown at the sight of the other two heavenly Supremes. Xiao yin picking up the pot ran towards Xianwu as he said "Sister! Look I planted the seeds, in a while they'll turn into trees!"

Xianwu who was about to compliment was stopped by Shijei who gazed over the plant with his chin under a hand taunting "Tch!! No plant grows in a while, by the looks of it I don't think it will grow even in a year." Xiao yin's expression blackened. Senlin picking up the watering can pointed towards him as she said "Your plant is great I wonder if it can really grow in a while. Let's try to water it a little more…" rather than watering the pot she showered it over Xiao yin instead.

Xianwu bewildered gasped with shock. Xiao yin who was once happy had turned into a grave stone. "Oops! My apologies my hand slipped!" Senlin mocked as she thought "Maybe he isn't a ghost… then what about a demon?" Xianwu worriedly grabbed his hands and pulled him to sit "Both of you stop! If you don't I am not going to be tolerant anymore!" Xianwu's voice was shockingly high and cross, even Shijei and Senlin had never heard her anger like this before.

"Fa ling, bring me a cloth." She ordered slightly annoyed. Fa ling stretched itself out as it bought an old parchment cloth from the cottage. Xianwu gently dried his hairs as Senlin and Shijei without making Xianwu angry left to explore the village. Before they could leave Xiao yin sneakily said "Sister~ your lackeys are really slippery… I wonder what if they accidentally slip from the heavenly city one day." He chuckled with a hearted smile eyeing the two of them mischievously. Angry as they were the two of them still left without creating further problems.

Xianwu spoke with a teasing tone "Xiao yin… why are you so naughty?" Xiao yin looked around to face her under the cloth "Sister~ I don't like them. I hated it when they talked to you in that way…" he replied. Xianwu tilted her head sideways "You know there was a person who once told me, that you can't change everyone nor can you change everyone's perspective… so rather than fighting them on purpose why not talk to them like you're new to them?" she said as she thought "That's right… the one who said those words to me was Yeying himself. Even though I can't meet him right now his words really do save me." Xiao yin's eyes widened as a smile broke his lips. "Sister… you really are very kind…" he whispered. After completely drying his hair Xianwu said "Xiao yin… after your hairs dry. Come to me I'll comb them." Xiao yin nodded with a smile.

Senlin and Shijei walked around the village. Looking around the ways towards the place. Senlin said with her expression stern "Looks like we have all the clues, we only need to work today." Shijei nodded as he replied "Well looking at you today, rather than worrying about the mission, I worry about Xianwu and the kid. Why are you trying to prove that he is a demon or something, he might just be a kid?" Senlin glared at him angrily "It's not your problem, if you think he is a kid then think all as you like, but I want to find out who he is. There is a last check left to see if he is a demon, if you have the demon cleansing pill give it to me!" she ordered. Shijei stared at her baffled "Hey! That is dangerous! If he turns out to be a normal mortal his soul would get damaged. Then Xianwu…" however, he was soon interrupted "Are you giving it to me or not?" she asked seriously.

Shijei sighed as he handed over the pill in disdain. "You should better watch out, if you make Xianwu angry or harm that kid. Then it's all your fault." he replied. Senlin looked at the pill keeping it safely in her safe pocket. "The aura he gives out… isn't what a normal human can give out so easily. Xianwu might be a fool but I'm not!" She responded. Shijei seriously pondered "Never mind, Xianwu's safety come first." he said.

Xianwu sitting outside on the round stone observantly gazed at the scroll, her thoughts deep as Fa ling jumped around her. "There is the 3 of us… Senlin and Shijei, I'll send them on the adjacent South and west. Whereas, I'll take over the North and East, watching on the two sides will be easy thanks to Fa ling. Xiao yin is a human. I should tell him to stay at home… better not pull him with me…" Her thoughts were soon interrupted by his voice. Xiao yin looked at her with a smile "Sister~ are you working on something important?" he asked.

His long hairs wavy from above and straight below were dangling over his face. Xianwu smiled back "Hmm… remember I told you about a mission right? Today is the day I have to finish it. So just before the final chase I was making a plan." She replied. Instantly, his face turned into a dejected one "So… you won't be at home today…" he asked. Xianwu with a change in his expression responded "Xiao yin~ don't be sad. Once I finish my work, I promise I'll come back. Until then can you please take care of my house?"

Xiao yin slightly nodded. Looking his hairs ruffled Xianwu reached her arm towards his him she called "Xiao yin, are your hairs dry now?", but in utter shock Xiao yin turned around. Xianwu was confused. She who was struck in a moment of awkwardness replied "It's alright… no need to worry. Once they dry come to me." She said. Xiao yin without turning around nodded and walked away. Xianwu surprised to the core thought "What happened? Is he angry that I'm going? Or he doesn't want me to touch him? After all that happened in between him Senlin and Shijei, he would be cautious as well. I should also mind my manners too…" she thought. Soon it was dusk Senlin and Shijei returned back to the cottage.

Peering at their figures, she took the scroll and kept it inside the long sleeve. Walking outside her gaze shifted to Xiao yin as he called "Sister… are you leaving?" Xianwu nodded. Shijei with his hoarse voice shouted "Xianwu!! Hurry up We have to go to the village." Xianwu in return looked at Xiao yin "Xiao yin, my mission could be a little dangerous. Why don't you stay here and look out for my little cottage?" she asked politely. Xiao yin's expression first felt troubled however he smiled "Sister, if it is dangerous can I come?" he asked with a puppy face.

Xianwu was unable to resist it but she did. "Xiao yin… I don't think that's a good idea, Senlin and Shijei are strong heavenly generals they will both take care of me." She assured him with a smile. Xiao yin with his long black hairs nodded. Xianwu relieved replied "Such a good little boy, once sister returns she'll comb your hairs to reward you." Waving her hand one last time Xianwu made her way to the other two heavenly Supremes making her way to the village.

"Are you sure you should leave him at your house alone?" Shijei asked. Xianwu shook her head "Don't match him to the likes of robbers." She answered as if reading his mind. The two of them stared at her dumbfounded. Xiao yin gazed at her shadow which little by little faded away until completely disappeared. His expression lightened with a silent smirk.

Shijei walked beside Xianwu entering the village he asked "Xianwu… what should we do now?" Senlin continued "The villagers were much tensed today and right now, there isn't even a trace of a single soul. Neither a single light in the huts." Xianwu with a deep breath replied "Up to my own thinking, the size of the village is very small and can easily be covered by the three of us if we keep in watch. The south and west sides are both connecting themselves to the spirit sealing mountain whereas, the north and east are connecting to the river, with my power I can stop anyone who comes from the north east side with Fa ling's help, but I need you both, each to go on one of the sides either south or West… if you get a single clue from your side call me instantly." Senlin and Shijei looked at each other as Senlin asked "Everything is alright… how do we call you?" and that was indeed a problem how could they call each other?

Xianwu with a slight hindrance proposed a way "Meizhen and brother Shashou made a group transmission. If you would like you can join it." Senlin and Shijei sighed in deep regret. Xianwu proposed again "If not then shout my name loudly, I will surely run towards you…" she said walking away.

Suddenly her ears buzzed as she heard a loud voice "Xiao Yue!!" the voice was sharp but felt anxious like a mother worried about her child. Who else could own this voice rather than Meizhen? Xianwu's eardrums felt like they would burst out. Her voice ringing in her forehead Xianwu heard "Xiao Yue, are you alright? Are you fine in the mortal world? Why didn't you call us? Nobody is bullying you right? Or you aren't sleeping between ferocious wolves?!"

Xianwu sighed with a smile as she thought back "Meizhen, calm down. I am alright and everything is fine. I am busy right now and have been busy since I descended. Sorry I couldn't call you." Listening to Xianwu's words Meizhen seemed to calm down a little. Xianwu could feel her relieved voice clearly "Little girl~ you scared me out of my wits. You even didn't receive my call when I called you, you know how worried I was?" Xianwu apologized "I'm sorry now okay? I didn't meant to avoid it but I was just too busy."

Soon Meizhen came to the main point "Listen Xianwu, I added you to Shashou's private communication. He told me he wanted to tell you something very important so I'll be leaving now… and General Shijei and General Senlin also joined out of nowhere. Don't tell me the two of them are with you?" She asked irritated. Xianwu turned around to peek at the two of them who pretended to talk to each other without looking at her. Xianwu replied "Yes…"

Meizhen with the click of her tongue responded "Tch… what's the use of showing off now? Hmph! Jerks!" she angered. Xianwu with sweat on her forehead smiled confused. Leaving Meizhen, Xianwu jumped to the group transmission where Shashou was waiting. She thought "Brother Shashou, what do you want to tell me? I'm here" she asked. Shashou's voice responded "Xianwu there you are! I wanted to tell you to be careful and one more thing, towards the forest there is sealed building. Due to people sayings, the building is filled with evil suppression and is protected by talismans some time ago the talisman were removed but none knows how? When you chase the culprit try to avoid it but if this case is somehow connected with that place then be careful. Ask Senlin and Shijei to beware from dangers as well" Shijei with his rough voice replied "No need to tell me. I'm here…" Shashou sighed "Anyway, if you want to ask me anything call me urgently." He advised. "And furthermore, Yue Xianwu, be careful for your first mission and may heavens blessings guide your way." Xianwu smiled responding "Thank you… we'll follow your advice."

The group transmission was over. Shijei and Senlin walked over toward their respective areas as they started guarding it. Xianwu walked towards the river as she looked around the area. Fa ling with his abnormal length looked around the other one. Xianwu pondered "What is a building doing in the forest? Does the villagers know about it? But why is it guarded with talisman? Did something happen?" Interrupting her thoughts the man from the inn traced her figure as he called "Young lady!" he made his way towards her.
