"Troublesome"

"So, this world is basically a mix of Date a Live and Infinite Stratos? or are there more?" Seiichi wondered by himself while looking at the tall buildings from the window of his room.

After the explanation was done, Charlotte looked at the time and saw that she was getting late for school, so she rushed out of the house at a surprising speed, of course not before giving him a last look.

Seiichi noticed her eyes were filled with doubts, but he cannot do anything about it. Although he would have liked her to trust him more, but he won't go out of his way and act like an idiot just to get her to like him.

After she left, he went to his room and lied down on the bed. He wanted to process the information he has just received and for that he required a place he would feel comfortable in, which surprisingly he felt only in his room despite being there for the first time.

He chalked it down as the body's reaction to the familiar place and started to breakdown all the information he received.

And he found that despite being a long series of information only few things can be really marked as important. The first, this world is the possible future scenario of his original world, just with an anime twist. Second, the world of IS came to existence for the purpose of handling grievances, and finally the third, the occurrence of space quakes which led to the beginning of Date a Live world.

Although not much information was there, this still gave him the basic overview of what to expect.

What he understood is, the world has mechs which are used for many purposes be it as an activity or for fighting, and these mechs has brought a big change to the social quo of the world by making girls authority higher than that of the boys. And although it has been taken action against, there are still remnants of what has been started. Then came the existence of mysterious things unidentified by the world or more specifically common public, as Seiichi was sure the higherups all know about spirits or else how could they allow these academies to have access to so much fire power?

"Interesting…" Seiichi muttered having a small smile on his face. He always wanted a life filled with adventures and now he would get that in this world!

As for peace? He has experienced that enough in his old life, he carved the thrill of doing something dangerous, something that can make his blood pump with all the fear, excitement and anything that he has not felt before. The only problem is he is a boy.

Do not get him wrong, he appreciates that he is a boy and no gender bender fan service happened with him, but the first step to his desired life is to be an IS pilot and that thing can only be piloted by girls.

He was sure that Tabane can easily make it that the IS can be piloted by the boys, but for some unknown reason she made it exclusive for girls.

As for starting an era to promote girl power? He calls it bullshit! He has read enough about her to know that she is not interested in all these.

He wanted to complaint more, but it won't do him any good, so he just sighed and booted up his phone.

He decided to send those invitations he has in the inventory and see who will join the group chat, but before he could do so, his phone started vibrating and a caller id popped up in the phone screen.

"Albert Dunois?" Seiichi questioned seeing who the caller was. The name did not give him any impression but seeing the surname he knew that it was someone from the main family and most probably Charlotte's father.

"Hello?" He said picking up the phone.

"Report" Came a heavy voice from the other side. Seiichi's impression of the voice is of someone very strong, not the body but the spirit. It was of someone who has absolute confidence in himself and his decisions.

"Excuse me?" Seiichi voiced out. He was confused, what report? Is it some military greeting that was said as a joke?

"Don't waste my time and report on what Charles did" The person said, this time with a voice that was laced with authority.

Hearing this, Seiichi's body went stiff for a second and listening to the name Charles a terrifying guess came to his mind.

'Was this guy reporting everything Charlotte did to her father...?' He though in his mind, while a frown appeared on his face. He was now feeling some dislike build up for the previous Seiichi because with this his life will become really complicated!

"He went to school after waking up, no unusual movements" he replied in an emotionless voice. Seiichi decided he should at least go with the flow and decided what he would do to handle this later.

He obviously did not report the talk he had with Charlotte and that he has discovered Charles was actually a girl.

"Continue to monitor and report if you find any unusual behavior" said the voice and the call was instantly cut off without waiting for him to give a reply.

Even after the call was cut, Seiichi did not put down his phone and just continued to stare outside. And after some time passed his body finally had a reaction and it suddenly fell on the bed.

He just buried his head on the pillow and sighed with his voice sounding very tired. He had recently finished handling the matter with Charlotte and now her father comes out of nowhere and he gets to know he was a fucking spy!

He now felt wishing for something is not a good thing, he had wished to feel the excitement of being in dangerous situations not get constant headaches because of troublesome people.

Even though it has only been a few hours after his transmigration he was feeling very tired and wanted to rest.

He thought back about the look that Charlotte gave him just before leaving, she was looking at him in doubt, which meant she believes in him even though it is very little. But now after this what will she say when she gets to know this person who requested her to trust him was a spy planted by his father all along and was asked to monitor her?

"Human relations are really troublesome..." He muttered and decided to close his eyes for some time.
