Chapter 28

Outside of headquarters of Eldens squad we see 2 people fighting.

A boy and a girl as one watched from the side.The girl used fire magic to attack the boy who held out his hands as the fire were sucked into them.

Quickly appearing in front of him the girl delivered a swift punch to the boys stomach. The punch landed as the boy was pushed back.

Stabilising himself he watched as the girl made ' come on ' motion with her hands. Grinning he rushed at her as did she.

They throwed punches and kicks as they blocked and countered each other.

" You've gotten better." Fana said.

" So have you bitch. " Ladros replied.

They then rushed in as they the back their fists and punched the other person in the jaw.

They stood standing as blood dripped from their mouths.

" I think that's good. " Fana said.

" True. You have gotten much better after training with captain Rose. " Ladros said.

" I see that when training with Karasuma you've calmed down a bit. That's progress. You're no longer a feral child. "

" Yeah no. If I could I would've pimples into the ground. " Ladros said with a feral grin.

" Damn and here I thought you would be different. " Fana said with a sad rain cloud over her head.

" I missed you to. " Ladros said.

" Sure anyway where is Mars?" Fana asked.

" Right here. "She turned to her right to the sound of the blank voice. She saw Mars sitting on the stairs.

" Hey Mars. " Fana said as she waved.

" Hey. "

" So how are you doing with the food business? " Ladros asked.

" It's going okay. " Mars said as he got up and stood in front of Fana and Ladros.

3 years had passed since Elden came back from that mission. Mars and Fana were 15 while Ladros was 16.

They had trained hard during these 3 years and got tutored by different people.

" Really how much area does it have control over? " Fana asked.

" Most of the kingdom except for places where the royals have control over. We managed to change the living conditions for the citizens and gave them jobs."

" Seems that Captains plan is working." Fana said.

" Sigh when has that bastards plan ever failed? " Ladros yelled.

" True. It's scary. " Mars said.

" True. So where did dear old captain? I need to say hello. " Fana said.

" Can't do it right now? He had to go meet someone. " Mars said.

" I see. So when is he going to get a girlfriend?"

" Who knows? " Ladros said.

In the 3 years have passed the major thing that changed in the kingdom was Eldens business.

When it spread across the kingdom, the place smear those restaurants were protected by Elden.

All the inhabitants were cared for and givin jobs. It became better as most of the peoples problems were fixed.

Mars Fana and Ladros all had improved over the years in strength. They were now at the level were they could take on a captain one on one and could win.

Another huge development was that they meet Touya and Winter.

Elden brought Touya and Winter to the squad when they were 14 same age as Fana and Mars. They hit things off and became friends and rivals.

It also led to many moments when Edlen decided to remember everything by taking photos and writing their secrets after he eavesdropped on their conversations.

Till this day it haunts them that they could never get rid of the evidence.

The king also made sure to keep an eye out on Elden after his outburst. He sent Fox to do so.

This however gave time for Elden and Fox to have more time to talk. At first it was very awkward, bit they have become more comfortable now.

* Flashback *

Elden was sitting on his desk doing his paperwork while Fox was sitting on the coach.

Fox arrived 2 hours ago for day 2 of the job and hasn't moved from here spot.

'Okay fuck it. Elden just say something. Anything to remove this torture. '

" So how was it like when you discovered your magic? " Elden asked. Fox looked at him with a blank face.

" They trained me to become a spy and I couldnt have any contact with anyone. It was cold. "

Silence rained over the place as Elden just stared at her.

' Wtf. Sigh just try something else. '

" Have you ever read this book before" Elden asked as he levitated a book to her.

Looking at the book, Fox shook her head.

" I have not read this book. I wasn't allowed to do anything except my job."

" I see. Well this is a good chance to change that. Start reading the book. " Elden said.

" But.. "

" Shush. "Elden said as he stopped her from talking with his finger stopping her lips.

" By the end of this, you'll no longer have to work for those old geezers. So as your future ruler I'm telling you to relax and enjoy this book. " Elden said. Fox looked at Elden and at the book. She nodded and opened the book.

" Also listen. " Elden said as she looked at him. " You are allowed to make your own decisions. If someone tries to control you fight back either with words or by violence. "

" Okay but why words? "

" Politics and a technique called the talk no jutsu which allows the user to brainwash people by using different version based on emotions. " Elden said while doing his paperwork.

" I see. I think I'll start reading. " Fox said.Elden just gives a thumbs up.

* Flashback end *

But in honesty the biggest change happened when Karasuma and Olivia became a couple.

Yes they became a COUPLE.

A party was thrown in celebration.

Currently Elden was in a meeting with another person. Leonardo was in from of him as he looked at Elden.

" I need your help. Can you please help me? " Leonardo asked as he bowed.

" Ehh?? "
