"They are strong," Marcus announced, watching this fight intently.
Joz, who heard these words, nodded. Jesus' aura reminded him of his own when he first came into this world. Still, he could see that Jesus certainly must have the level of Daz and was, therefore, stronger than his former self.

"I AM AND WILL REMAIN THE CHAMPION OF THE ARENA," Jesus exclaimed, rushing in Jack's direction as well.
Both men were melee fighters which made the audience awaken the primitive animal—seeing a hand-to-hand fight felt like you were in the contest.
The two men, although extremely quickly, had time to position themselves correctly for the first hand-to-hand collision.
BAM BOOM
And to everyone's surprise, the ground fractured from the impact of the two punches.
Jesus was slightly astonished to see Jack resisting his blows but immediately refocused on the fight, not giving Jack enough time to react due to this inattention.
Jack fell back and kicked with all his strength to Jesus, who decided to parry the blow with a whip (= kicks). This duel was a duel of ego. Each blow was given at 100% and was countered by the same blow (fist by fist, foot by foot, knee by knee).
The audience and the host did not even have time to digest the information as the fighting intensified with each stroke.
Only a few people had sufficient visual acuity to entirely see this 'memorable' fight.

In a room reserved for the arena manager, a man of 2 meters was seated with his advisor.
The two people watched the fight directly from a live video snail phone. The assistant who was there to inform her boss was overwhelmed by the battle even though she had difficulty following, unlike his boss, who was dressed in a green suit with a long black coat (Peaky Blinders) and could easily follow the fight. This fight was interesting to show the plebs, but for the great masters like him, it was not enough.
"Boss! It looks like Jack has improved. Do you want me to tell the host so he can stop the fight before it's too late?" she asked worriedly.
She had been his assistant for a whole year. She knew that her boss was classy but very erratic, especially with his 'toys.'

"This crushing defeat will haunt you to hell, JACK" Jesus exclaimed, rushing straight at Jack with an even greater speed than during the duel.

The arena was shocked again by this unfolding and didn't expect to see Jack's death after showing such force.

After these words, Jesus looked at the crowd, and they were silent, letting the sound of the surrounding birds and insects be heard.
"ME," said a tall, muscular man with dark skin. This man was dressed like a gladiator and looked fierce. This man was Joz (he is dressed like Joz from the anime).
"AH ! well, there you have it, an actual act of courage after this daunting fight, you are a real man, "replied the host, nodding his head. His goal was to make Joz enter the arena, but he was afraid that afterward, this demonstration, Joz would get scared and doesn't try anything.
Marcus smiled when he saw this and knew what Joz wanted, unlike Robin, who didn't understand why Joz wished to compete with Burgess.
"Burgess, if I win, you'll have to join my crew," Joz said in a loud voice that surprised everyone present.
The public shouted for joy with this announcement: a pirate from the area would fight a gladiator. Pirates were known to be not only devastating but also very powerful. After all, this era was not called the 'era of piracy' for nothing.
"Wiiihahaha, if you can beat me, of course," he replied without hesitation. He did not think he would lose to anyone, so what was the point of thinking long?!
Without even waiting for the host's go, Joz rushed towards Jesus. Jesus, who saw this changed his expression and became severe.
The speed Joz demonstrated was the same as him when he killed Jack. Joz punched Jesus in the face very quickly. Still, Jesus managed to dodge him and counterattack with a whip through Joz's slender legs.
But when his foot touched Joz's leg, he showed an expression of pain and saw with amazement that Joz's leg was all shimmering blue.
"I ate the fruit of the diamond; my defense is not something you can break. Your defeat is imminent," affirmed Joz giving a lariat to Jesus (without diamond) that he could not dodge because of his astonishment.

Jesus flew and violently hit the arena wall, causing him to bleed slightly. Joz still had an intermediate physique and therefore had great raw strength.
Jesus got up very quickly, accelerated towards Joz, and gave him a knee kick in the face which he (Joz) dodged at the last second.

With this, the fight between Joz and Jesus began and already showed that the previous fight was only a warm-up.
'He's got a mid-level physique,' thought Joz, turning his torso into a diamond to tank Jesus' nudge.

With this blow, Joz took four steps back, and Jesus noticed that blood was flowing from his elbow.
"You are the strongest opponent I have faced; if you tank my next attack, I agree to join your crew," Jesus announced while concentrating.
"SEND ME YOUR STRONGEST BLOW," Joz shouted, turning his entire body into a diamond (except one eye).
Right after this sentence, Jesus, who had his eyes closed, opened them and rushed towards Joz with speed barely perceptible to ordinary men and said: "TAKE THIS SPECIAL STROKE .... WAVE SHOCK ...."

On impact, Joz flew and hit the wall behind him, and contrary to what he thought, blood was streaming from the corner of his lips: He had taken damage.
Jesus' attack was a special attack that he was trying to control, which consisted of emitting a shock wave with his body. He had learned this art in a book belonging to the family of Don ChinJao.
After this blow, he fell exhausted. He had used all his strength for this punch and saw with amazement that he had failed to beat Joz, who had too much defense.
'Without my fruit, I would be Knocked Out,' thought Joz as he stood up and walked towards Jesus.
"Now, you are one of the four executives of my crew. Congratulations!" He announced, speaking loudly so that the whole arena could hear him.
"Well done, captain!" declared Marcus, who had just entered the arena with Robin and two other members of the crew.

During Joz's fight against Jesus, the manager who was in his dressing room looked at his advisor and said with a big smile: "Call Kevus and tell him the plan is on!"
"Yes, Boss!" She replied, leaving the lodge and picking up her snail phone.
With this, this mystery man also came out of his dressing room and walked to the platform of his employee: the host, to observe more closely the fight Joz against Jesus.

"HAHAHA, well done, JOZ, for beating Jesus, but can you get out of here? I will make you the new star of my arena," announced a man in a green suit who was in the host's shoes.
"Who are you?" Joz asked with a grim look.
"He's the manager of the arena," said Jesus to the ground, who, thanks to a crew member, was able to sit against the wall of the arena.
The public exclaimed like the voices added in the old American series. They watched this scene without missing a beat: The legendary Noble of the island has just arrived.
"JOZ, either you become the Star of this Colosseum, or you die. What do you choose?" he asked with a big smile.
"I choose your death," said Joz coldly, turning his body into a diamond.

But before he could even rush towards this 'noble,' a giant green-fist rushed towards him and engulfed him, causing him to hit the arena wall a second time violently.
Joz, who had so far beaten all his opponents quite quickly, was on his knees and understood that the opponent in front of him was of a completely different caliber.
'How...? this power ..... ' he thought confusedly.
