"Heyy...how are you" he asked, he was kind of disappointed that she might be the toxic one. "its going.. good. I am sorry I left all the sudden like that, I needed some space to think..." she said, Now Kurai was more confused then ever, he just sat there not knowing what to say, he had no idea what was even happening "Xavier... say something... I am sorry ok?" she said her voice was shaky, and she looked very upset "sorry for what?" he asked, what was it that she seemed so sorry about, it must have been that bad. "I am sorry that I left without telling you... it was just that I knew you would not let me go to Jaina's birthday.." she said, "Uhm, that is really not that much of a big deal... unless you did something bad at the party like cheat or something" he said, having no idea what the hell he was saying all he knew he had to pretend to be her boyfriend, find out what exactly this Xavier dude wanted him to do and leave.

"no no baby of course not I did not cheat please trust me... please... it was just a girl sleepover that's all! after that i went to my moms for a while... i promise baby please" she pleaded, He was lost for words on how nervous and scared she seemed, "Hey... why are you so worked up? calm down... its okay if you have not done anything wrong...k?" he said in a soft voice

"what do you mean 'what?'"?

"I don't know your acting different... did you do something bad?"

"what? no of course not! I am just being...normal? how do I act usually?"

" I don't know... you scream at me...and be angry that's all..."

there was a moment of awkward silence, alots of awkward silence, for 15 minutes they sat there without speaking, he was hoping that she would break the silence but she seemed lost in her thoughts, 'she's not spoken for a while now, what is she doing exactly?' "excuse me" the waitress said serving their noodle and sandwich.

kurai dropped a spoon by accident, he went under the table to pick it up and noticed why exactly she wasn't talking, she was reading a book..."am I boring or is that book just way interesting ?"

"what book? haha..." she did a little nervous laugh "what book is it anyway? don't worry I said it as a joke before" he said trying to make her less uncomfortable

"its called Gone girl... it has a big plot twists and I'm up for those!"

after a while waiter came and collected their dishes. "I guess we can head to our homes now" he said, "yeah sure" He called an uber that came to pick him up, she sat beside him "oh, are you coming with me?" he asked "yea... you said lets got to our home?"

"yea.. yea i did say that."
