Chapter 1 : A Strange Task

the world settings - demons from underworld carry out tasks given by humans, while the human goes into their own dream world the demon will pretend to be them in order to carry out the task to earn points that advance their level and lower the torture they face, along with earning them points to buy certain passes, like disguise kit and etc. When demons reach level 5, They can carry out tasks as a hitman on earth and not possesion anymore

Let our story begin...

"KURAI! " Ameli shouted entering Kurai's Chamber, while Kurai was playing with a 199 sided rubix cube.

"What the hell is it... " Kurai groaned

"Well somebody Has gotten a Letter WRITTEN from our Lord."

"Oh? who got it? no actually don't answer that I already know" he smirked "Me of course"

Ameli took a deep sigh

"what does MY LORD want from me? "

"do NOT speak about him in a sarcastic tone... he is tired of you sitting around and doing nothing, so he is sending you on a task"

"A task? what if I don't go? " Mocked Kurai

"Your torture gets extended. "

Kurai's face which has a smirk dropped at this

"doesn't sound too good... fine I'll go"

"good. let's go"

Kurai got up and tossed his rubix cube to it's container it landing right on it "AYE TRICKSHOT! " he cheered but ameli just glared at him with her red skin getting even redder in possible anger "alright.. I'll drop it" Kurai said following her to the transmitter

"hop in" Ameli says "What? just like that? no Information on the dimension? " He said confused "Not my fault the Lord didn't provide it because he was annoyed" said ameli "But what even is tha tas-" "SHUT UP just ask it to the system once you get there! " said ameli "Bu-" his word was intruded by the transmitter doing it's job as fast as it could, He was travelling in space as the transmitter shooted up to the sky, he was inside it and it was a tight space. Slowly he could see himself on 3rd person view, it was creepy seeing himself levitating and his appearance changing to the human he was going to posses.

EXPLANATION: (you can skip this if u understood)

When devils transmit they stay the same appearance but everybody who knew them in the universe will be replaced by whatever appearance the devil has. they stay the same appearance to be able to use their powers, meanwhile the actual human will be in Dream Land of whatever he ever desired.

Slowly he could feel himself waking up, he felt uncomfortable in his mouth only to spit out the note human left for him, what a disgusting way to deliver a simple note!

a short note with just a unspecified task, What exactly did the summoner wanted kurai to do with summoners relationship??

"Uhhh SYSTEM? " Kurai asked shouting in the air when a digital screen thing appeared in front of him, but it had several cracks on it... and the screen instead of being blue was red "TOx-ToXiC" said the system before completely shattering and dissolving into the ground, Kurai sat on the bed thinking 'what it must possibly means and why would the owner of this body appoint a low level 2 demon... since it's a low level demon the task couldn't possibly be big, it would just be a type of situation the owner of body didn't wanna deal with... ugh what might it be..' then it clicked him 'AHA! the person he is dating must be toxic and he wanted to either break it off with them!' but I have to observe for a few days... how much time do I have?

"ameli! " the horned red monster appeared as a vision "you have a 2 and a half year, you have more tasks in this task as a side task. that's all I know please I have important stuff to attend to! " she said disappearing "How do I start this task... it's been a while since I've done a task.. " he talked to himself again, laughing at the idea of how often he has gotten the habit to talk to himself, probably the loneliness got him.

suddenly he spotted a strange device, he took it, it was a foldable screen, it said

can we meet at cafe today 1:30?... since our last fight I've been thinking and... I have something important to tell you."

'huh. that must be his and now my 'possibly the toxic' partner that he was possibly tryna break from?'

Kurai thought to himself. he looked at a digital clock besides him "OH F*CK! " he said looking at the time which was 1:45, he rushed to the wardrobe to wear black button shirt and a pant with fashionable chains in them "this wardrobe is more devilish then an actual devils wardrobe, which is just sweats-" he said to himself and he rushed out of the apartment.

when he reached downstairs the world was extremely confusing, Wheels did not seem to exist anymore, instead cars had this strange blue light which kept them floating and moving at an incredible speed! he was fascinated as a person who died in 2020 Corona virus🦠😷

No guys jk jk, he was fascinated as a person who died at a young age in 2020 by tragic murder. he opened his phone thankful ubers are still called ubers, he ordered a Uber and finally reached the cafe, as soon as he walked in he took a seat hoping whoever the assumed "ToXic" partner would find him. while he was sitting he spotted a girl across with light brown eyes and brown hair reading one of his favorite books back when he was alive, 'The Girl On Train' making expressions every once in a while.

He was staring at her in admiration, they made eye contact and she packed her stuff up, he got scared if he scared her away but she came to him "hey..i ordered your favorite cafe..." she said sitting in front of him, so she knew him... her voice was so soft, "u-uh what did you have to say? " he asked trying to act normal and not to- blush? what? 'am i having a crush? noo... just my imagination'....
