Chapter 5: Reunion

The body that Ra created was far too weak and Metria exerted too much power, he passed out due to over fatigue.

Because the mortals were far more inferior than Metria, they haven't understand him. He felt alone again longing for a companion that will understand him.

He then created the beings that surpass the mortals, he created the ones that can possess the grace and use divine powers---- the lesser gods.

After several hours Metria's consciousness was brought back. He saw familiar faces.

"Where am I?" He asked.

The awakening of Metria brings joy the ones surrounding him.

"You were on the normal world again," said by the familiar voice.

Metria's eyes were wide opened. His sight roamed around the familiar room, but he felt that something was changed. He then glared again at the people around him. He then received a slap from a young lady sitting before him.

"I-I know that body!" Metria's shocked response.

"You pervert! What did you do to me?!!" Liana asked him angrily, "And what the heck are those stories that you're telling to my brother!??"

Metria received another slap, then another, and another one. But then the young lady smiled at last and embraced him.

"Thank you for saving me..." then Liana's tears started to fall.

*Sighs

That time Ra was about to burst from laughter, "That girl has a gut."

After reviving Hayatus, Metria's energy was drained. The god of the dead then extracted a body from a dying lad, enchanting and reconstructing the host to be capable of using god's graces, mantra and divine powers... a vessel worthy of his Lord, Metria.

Hayatus ordered his servants to bring out the soul from the asylum. The soul was far different from the others that's why he kept it in a special chamber, it was Liana's.

Ra and Hayatus revived the girl from death. At first the young lady was shocked to know the truth. Hayatus tell Ra about the informations he got and give a last warning to him,

"Don't ever tell Metria about that girl's soul. Or else, our Lord will kill her."

Hayatus' words frustrates Ra's thoughts.

"How about your grace Hayatus? Do you still need it?"

"No. The Dead Realm's systems are self functioning, it will be fine even without my familiar." Hayatus insisted.

Ra lifted his lord and Liana take Leo back to the chariot. Hayatus opened the gate of the living, bidding farewell to his visitors.

"Metria, I hope that you will find peace."
