Lovey

“Ember, you know her??” asked Victor, as he was shocked to the his grandson smiling that to with a stranger which was new to him, because was always scared of new people and infact he use talk freely only with Rosemary.

“Yeah, I met lovey at airport" said Ember

“Why are you calling her lovey??” asked Rosemary

“Because she is soooooo lovely” said Ember hugging Tamara.

“So Ember would you like her as your new teacher??” asked Victor.

“Lovey, you will teach me??” asked Ember with his eyes twinkling with hope.

“Yes, Ember I am going to teach you” said Tamara

“I will love to be with my lovey" said Ember snuggling more in Tamara's arms.

“Seems like you’re going here for a longtime” said Rosemary.

“Think so" said Tamara with beautiful smile.

“ Okay, sir then I will start from tomorrow afternoon, 3PM” said Tamara and stood up with Ember in her arms.

“ Oh yes, Ember come here child” said Victor

Tamara put him down and next second the consistent smile from his face fade away. He grabbed the hem of her skirt in his small fist and looked at Tamara with pleading eyes.

“ Lovey, you’re leaving me??” he asked.

“No, Ember I will come back tomorrow.” Said Tamara

Ember disheartedly let Tamara go, with his eyes getting teary. As soon as he missed the sight of Tamara he started crying loudly, it made both Rosemary and Victor shocked to see him.

“Ohh… baby why are you crying??” asked Rosemary trying to coax him.

“Lovey … sob.. my lovey…sob… I want my lovey” he cried hugging Rosemary. Rosemary and Victor looked at eachother with disbelief with Ember’s behavior. He never cried for his father and now he was crying for a totally new person whom he just met few times.

“Shhh…. Its okay son, she will come tomorrow again” said Rosemary

“No but I want to stay with lovey …. Grandma please take me to my lovey" cried Ember loudly.

Then the Allen couple realized that they didn’t took her mobile no. and address. Rosemary some how managed to put Ember to sleep. But the thing didn’t end here at evening when he woke up he recalled his meeting with Tamara and become silent as he was missing her.

Rosemary and his maid tried to make any conversation with him but he didn’t utter a single word and stayed in his room. He was giving a tough time to everyone.

Otherside, Tamara after leaving Rosemary casa went to search for a apartment for her which is either near university or near her work place. Whole day went like this but she didn’t the one she get were either too expensive or were not good for a girl to stay. With a dejected heart she headed back to her hotel, she took a shower and decided to sleep as she ate her lunch quite late and was not in a to eat.

Next day, Monday morning she got ready for her college. She picked up a chicken roll from hotel itself and ate that on her way to college.

After reaching college she reported to Valentine,

“Good morning, mam" said Tamara walking inside the cabin of Valentine.

“Morning, dear. You are right on time, come with me for lecture” said Valentine and handed her bunch of books and files. Tamara followed her like a obedient assistant to class, she kept the books on table.

“Good morning, students. I want to introduce you to this lovely lady. She is Miss. Tamara Alexan she is doing her research under my guidance and she also my assistant. From now onwards you will talk to her regarding your assignments or any other problem you face. Miss. Alexan please take seat" said Valentine.

Tamara gave a warm smile to students and took her seat on last bench. She did her work while Valentine took the lecture, after the bell rang she packed her stuff and followed Valentine like before. After reaching back to Valentine’s cabin,

“Dear, now we have only one class left for the day and that is not part of your topic. You can go to library and fetch some good stuffs for yourself then here take these are questions that I gave to the students last week they will submit the assignment tomorrow. You just go through them as you’re the one who is going check them" said Valentine.

“Okay, ma’am then I will see you before leaving” said Tamara and walked out. She went to library to fetch some old thesis journals and books. She went between huge bookshelves searching for the books.

She took out a book and saw a familiar pair of dark grey eyes staring at her, she gave small smile as she met those eyes. She wasn’t able to see face of person as it was covered with books. But still she felt that person didn’t returned her smile looking at his eye.

She looked away and walked away shrugging her shoulders. She picked some more books and took a seat at the corner and start doing her work. She didn’t even realize when did the time passed, it was already 2PM. She kept the books back into the shelves and went to report Valentine.

It was already 2:30 PM, she went to cafeteria and picked up burger with a juice can. On her way back to Rosemary casa she did her lunch in cab. While otherside Ember was already waiting outside in garden since morning. As soon as Tamara entered the gate he ran to her hugged her legs, Tamara was shocked with this.

She scooted down and picked Ember in her arms, the thing she saw made almost a different feeling of pain in her. There were tears in eyes of Ember, Tamara immediately wiped his tears and hugged him patting his back. “Ember my gentleman what happened why were you crying??” asked Tamara.
