Chapter 11

"Ziah?" Lello frowned looking at the anxious girl in the emergency room.

"What are you doing here?"

Ziah absentmindedly looked at him

"Le-Lello" Ziah's face paled as she look anxious and worried.

"Who did you brought here?" Lello asked her. That question snapped Ziah back to reality. She suddenly grabbed Lello's hand,

"Na-Nally, she fainted.", she looked at the side of the emergency room that is covered by a thick curtain. Indicating that Nally was there.

"What?!" Lello pull away from Ziah and went to Nally.

"Nurse how's her vitals?", he asked.

"Doctor, her vitals are stable."

Lello examined her and decided to put her on IV.

Then he went back to Ziah who is patiently waiting for him outside the emergency room.

"How is she? Is she ok now?" Ziah's face shows how worried she was.

"She's fine now. She might have felt too much emotion which distressed her that's why she fainted." He saw the relief passed on her eyes after she confirmed that his sister is ok now. She gave Ziah a questioning looked.

"What happened to her?"

Ziah heaved a heavy sigh before she started narrating what happened.

"She was almost abducted.", Ziah said.

"What?! What do you mean abducted?!"

"She went to the park saying that she wanted some air. I left her as I had to go home, but after a few steps from her I looked back and I saw her being dragged by five men wearing black suits."

"Men wearing suits?" Lello frowned and his face darken tremendeously.

"I don't know who they are, and why are they trying to abduct her but they are trained fighters. They must be working for someone influential." Lello fell silent as he is thinking who the possible mastermind is behind this incident.

"How did you manage to come here?" Lello finally asked Ziah after a few minutes of silence.

Ziah look away and with a low voice she said "I fought and beat them."

Lello's eyes widened in shocked.

"What did you say? You fought and beat the men whom you called trained fighter?" Lello sked in surprised and disbelief. Ziah felt offended with his reaction so she glared at him.

"Yes, do you want me to demonstrate it to you? How I beat them?" Ziah said sarcastically.

"No. I am sorry, I was just surprised."

"About what? That I know how to fight?" she raised her eyebrow challenging him to answer.

"No, it's just that you are too pretty, so I did not expect that you knew martial arts. I am sorry if I offended you.", he said seriously. Ziah blush a little upon hearing his compliment. She was used to hearing compliments about her looks and usually she cannot be affected by this. She's a little surprised that his compliment affected her.

Silence filled the air between the two of them, and Ziah felt a little uncomfortable so she decided to broke the silence.

"I think I should be going now, it's getting late." she stood up as she bid goodbye. Lello nodded to her and she turned to walk away.

"Ahm. Thank you!" Lello said before Ziah reached the door. She stopped and turned to him.

"Thank you for what you did, I owe you." Ziah nodded and walked away.

When Lello went to Nally's private room she started to regain her conciousness.

"Brother? Is that you?" she asked

"Yeah. It's me. How are you feeling?" Lello walked and sit beside the bed and held her hand.

"I'm good. Am I in the hospital?"

"Yes. Ziah brought you here when you fainted."

"Oh, I see." Nally smiled weakly at the thought. "Did you treat her too? Is she also confined here? I want to see her." Lello frowned and got confused.

"Why should I treat her? She seems fine. She even carried you here on her back."

"I am not sure, but I think he got hit by one of the guys who wanted to kidnapped me a while ago."

"But she looks ok a while ago, I didn't saw any bruise in her."

"Is that so? But I am pretty sure I heard her groaning out of pain during the fight, so I thought she got hit. When she carried me on her back, I felt like she's struggling like she's in pain." Nally said with a worried look on her face.

"Brother, please check up on her. She might need your help more than me. She saved me, and I am sure she got hurt because of that. Would you please go and check on her?Please?" Nally pleaded. She felt guilty for what happend, she wasn't even able to help Ziah or even call for help at least. She was so weak.

"I'll go check up on her. Don't worry too much. Have a rest first, ok?" Nally nodded and went back to sleep.

Lello took a cab and went to Granny's coffee shop, as expected the shop is already close and he don't want to call granny as she might be sleeping already. From what he remembered, granny said that Ziah is staying in one of her apartments, the old woman owns a lot of apartment but since Ziah only walks from the park going home, she might be staying somewhere near. He went to the park and try to figure out which way does Ziah takes going home. After sometime he decided to knock on a door praying that he chose the correct door to knock on. He was knocking for quite sometime already but he hears nothing. It's as if no one is living in that apartment. 'I must have went to the wrong apartment', he thought. He was going to leave so he decided to try the knob before leaving, and to his surprised it wasn't locked.

'It would be rude for me to come inside without granny's permission, even though this room is vacant, I should just go.'. He was about to close the door when he saw a pair of shoes on the floor.

'Wait, I think those are Ziah's shoes', instead of walking away he decided to come inside and call for Ziah.

"Hello? Ziah, it's me Lello, Nally asked me to check up on you. I'm coming inside ok?", he said loudly as he opened the door fully and walked inside the apartment.

"Ziah? Are you here?" he looked at the other side of the apartment and was shocked on what he saw.
