Grand Ball Night
The three young beautiful ladies are standing out with their stunning dresses defines their natural curves.
Faye is wearing a skin-toned color fitting dress, and her curly hair naturally tied to look like a tiara.
It complements her looks, and she even looks sexier by her 5-inch stiletto and pairs it with an earth color purse.
Leigh is wearing a navy blue dress with a curve design on her chest but with a net-like extension from chest to neck design, a turtleneck.
Her red hair is designed as simple, sleek type pairs it with a black stiletto and an elegant silver purse. She looks like a ramp model ready to go.
Czerene wears a faded yellow satin free flow dress that compliments her stylish sandals. The sandals have flower lock buckles at the ankle. She has a gold purse with the same design, her hair blow-dry naturally allows for flowing in the wind.
The three young men beside them can't help but feel prouder that they agree to date them.
They don't care about the other things going on around them; their attention and mind occupied by this beautiful lady holding on to their arm.
As the music stops, the principal goes to the stage and starts his opening speech. Everybody has no other choice but to listen.
"It's an excellent pleasure evening, ladies and gentlemen. As you everyone knows, this is a tradition that we are all so familiar with, to gather and socialize to this Grand Ball Night for this year. I hope you all make use of this night as a privilege to make your alliance stronger--- if you know what I mean--- future CEOs, next business magnets of this country. Enjoy this night, be smart, socialize, don't forget to do it in business style." The University head administrator winks and smirks. Everybody laughs at the first actions but not the three pairs. They find it annoying.
The head administrator continues talking, "Enjoy!" Everybody hold up your glass, and let's toss." As the head administrator lifts his glass
Everybody hold up their drinks as the head administrator said: "Cheers for Zenith University. Cheers for our success!!!".
Everybody cheers in unison. The music continues playing in the background as it changes to upbeat music. The floor is inviting to dance. The crowd joins the dance floor and dance, other drinks, and other eats. But, the three pairs, standing there wondering what to do.
Before it gets awkward, Lexus excuse himself and drags Leigh with him, the two go to the table and check the food. Ken and Czerene go to the balcony, leaving Faye and Raven as they both look at each other and then to the dance floor and back to each other as they both agree on what they are thinking.
Faye and Raven decide to go to the dance ball and join the crowd for a dance.
It was party music that's why they enjoy dancing to the beat.
They are dancing to the beat as the music suddenly changes to a mellow song.
They are both startled, but as soon as the partners around them start to dance slowly, they too began to dance softly.
At first, they don't know what to do and copies what others are doing.
Faye put her arms around Raven's neck. He shyly put his hand in Faye's waist.
Raven is cautious and gentle because he is afraid that Faye may take it in the wrong way. He is nervous; his heart is beating fast. But when Faye giggles and smiles at him widely.
Raven's nervousness subsides as Faye lays her head on his chest.
He starts to sigh deeply, praying that Faye may not hear his fast heartbeats. He notices Faye is relaxing and enjoying the music; he began to calm down, too, and feel the music.
Lexus and Leigh do not dance; they decide to go around the table and pick and eat random foods served at the table. Lexus' acts and he intentionally messes the pronunciation of the food name like Bruschetta, Crème Brulee. Lexus will repeat the word and rightfully pronounce it with confidence and suave. It makes Leigh laugh so hard.
They continue doing it until they get tired and decided to sit at a table and talk about random things like movies, music and food, and more food.
Ken, Czerene go to the balcony, carry their drinks while looking at the sky, and gazing at the stars. They are both comfortable when the party music is filtered, and only limited sound goes through their ears.
They both laugh as they remember the day they prank their master, and Ken started to ask about "Fluffy," the cute rabbit that Czerene kindly adopted.
They talk about how her sisters, "Faye and Leigh," are very fond of the rabbit too, and how they also take care of the rabbit.
Czerene shows some videos of Faye's cat Cliffer and Fluffy gets along. They have lots of cute videos together, which the two fondly watch as they laughed and talked about it.
The three pairs do not even notice that the night is passing by so fast. They enjoy each other company that they didn't felt the passing of time.
Little do they know, not far from where there are, there are a pair of eyes watching their every move.
As the night ended, the three young men decided to take the three young ladies home and, as a gentleman, bid the three young ladies "Goodnight." when they reach the ladies' house.
The three young ladies just waved their hands to smile widely at the three handsome young men in front of them and respond with "Thank you and Goodnight too," while hurrying to go inside their house.
The three men are long gone but still Czerene checks at the window to confirm. She gives a thump up as the two girls had an idea of what she means, they giggling and blushing furiously. They can't help but tell each other how much they enjoy each additional night.
Faye decided it's the best time for them to talk about it as they are now sitting on their couch and their shoes are off.
Faye starts the conversation with her best friends, still not changing their dress.
"What are we doing?" Faye is anxious.
"I know it's like we are awakening the sleeping dragon." Leigh sighs
"The thing is, we are happy this night, we didn't think of anything else, but we know the night ended. It suddenly sinks in." Czerene express her worries too
"Why can't we be happy?" Faye asks in frustration
"Regarding that, I have a happy family. My mother and father love each other, but my family doesn't want me to be near the big players, and the Fletcher's are one of them; my best friends are a big exemption. I'm glad they let me be your best friend."
"The Hamilton and Fletcher are like a best friend nowadays; they seem to ally," Faye commented.
"I guess Mr. Hamilton is scared of the power that your step-father is creating between the Grayson," Leigh replied
"Your right. We have the time of our life tonight, but good must come to an end. We are more anxious now about what our parents will do." Czerene sighs
The three men go back to their condo, all smiles and happy. Lexus cellphone vibrates,
"Meet me now" is the message he reads.
Lexus, Raven, and Ken still feel delighted about their date a while ago.
Lexus fidgets his fingers, he sighs. Raven and Ken look at him when they notice he is not following them.
"Why? Aren't you going in?" Raven asks
Lexus doesn't meet Raven and Ken eyes; he is looking down;
"I need to go and meet my father." Ken calmly answers; his face is blank.
Raven knotted his forehead, "At this time?" Raven asks in disbelief
"Yeah, you know him. I didn't date Gillian's daughter; he might know it by now," Lexus answer honestly.
"Oh!" Ken suddenly blurted
"Your father can't wait till tomorrow," Raven is irritated.
"I have to go," Lexus said as he gets his car in the garage and drives.
Raven and Ken are left looking at Lexus as he drives away,
"What about you, Raven, any message from your father?" Ken asks
"None, I think Lacey is talking to her parents now, feeling sorry that she left me hanging." Raven smirks
"That is not good if Lacey finds out, your dead," Ken warns him.
"I know, I understand. I pay those people well; I know they will not sell me." Raven assures Ken.
"What about Lexus?" Ken asks suddenly
"I trust Lexus; I think he can handle his father." Raven answers.
Lexus drives fast as he reaches their mansion in less than two hours, his father is amazed.
"You drive fast, son," Mr. Fletcher praise him.
Lexus inhales deep as he sees his father with some visitor in their house. The Gillian's and Mr. Hamilton and Grace Gillian herself, sitting in the chair like a Princess she is.
He caught Gillian's eye from head to toe and look at him in disgust.
"My son, you don't make a lady mad," Mr. Fletcher's concerned voice.
Mr. Fletcher face Ms. Grace Gillian and her parents,
"Now, that my son is here. As his father, I truly apologized for his behavior. A fine lady to ignore as a date for the Grand Ball Night is unacceptable." Mr. Fletcher voice is pleasing
"She dated someone else, Leigh Wilkinson." Grace Gillian voice is firm
"Oh' young blood paying with fire, I see." Mr. Hamilton commented
Mr. and Mrs. Gillian's look at Mr. Hamilton as he speaks
"Young lady, you should realize you don't own a man; you stand by their side and be by their side, you don't get mad and tell them what to do. You should not take away a man's power, let the young man play a little; in the end, you are the Queen. No one but you, the important is you have the title." Mr. Hamilton speaks
"Queen, I' am a Princess now, and I want to treat us one; he will have only me nothing else or." Grace Gillian stated
"You're not going to marry me?" Lexus finally speaks
"No, I will not let you go away; that is what you want. If you don't only have me, then I will hurt myself." Grace Gillian bravely stated
Mr. and Mrs. Gillian is startled by what their daughter said, "Gillian!" they both gasp in concern.
"I say what I say. Lexus is my fiancé. He has no right to date any girls" Grace stomps her feet.
"But, I hope you forgive my son in his careless act for tonight." Mr. Fletcher said in a pleasing voice.
Grace crosses her arms, eyebrow raised. "He made me wait for him for hours. Only to find out he is having a good time with that woman." she outburst.
"Every man has their moment of fun, right, Mr. Gillian?" Mr. Hamilton mischievously asks
"Yeah," Mr. Gillian awkwardly smiles as Mrs. Gillian looks at his husband and raise an eyebrow towards him. Mr. Gillian looks away and clears his throat.
"My daughter, it's okay; Lexus is here now, he knows your sentiments, and he will always be your fiancé. Nothing can change that, right, Mr. Fletcher?" Mr. Gillian asks the same way to Mr. Fletcher
"Yes, he is indeed your fiancé, and you are her one and only fiancée. I guarantee that." Mr. Fletcher smile
"I think the young lady should rest now. We are delighted about the visit, but it's getting late now." Mr. Fletcher suggest
"I think so too," Mr. Gillian awkwardly agrees.
Grace Gillian stands up from her seat and passes through Lexus snubbing him.
Lexus notices the look of his father and his signal to make amends to her.
"I'm sorry," he said casually in front of Grace.
Grace looked at him and still in her moody attitude.
"You should do something to make up to me." Grace is whiny
Lexus deep sighs and stares at his father. He notices his warning. "Okay," he answer.
Grace stares at him, not amused, "You are lucky; you're handsome." Grace teases him.
Lexus does not react nor flinch when Grace kisses his cheeks; he respectfully bid Grace's Parents goodbye as they go home.
Lexus has the feeling that his father calls him not only for Grace, but there are also other reasons, especially Mr. Hamilton is here.
"My son, have a seat. We have a long night to spend talking." Mr. Fletcher said firmly, fiercely looking at his son.
