23: spider mountain?

"Cawww... the headquarters requested for two hashira...cawww...but since slayer itsuki is close by, you can assist the slayers till the hashira appear" the crow said as it landed beside the foot of a mountain, strange sounds could be heard from within the mountain.

"Two hashira?, does the headquarters really think so much of my strength?" Itsuki laughed, they sent two hashira, but made him come here first because he was closer.

Searching his memories itsuki found this area within the show, it was the mountain of the fake family of spider demons under rui, a lower moon demon..

Entering the dark and eerie forest inside of the mountain, itsuki noticed many demon slayers, they weren't killed, but they were wrapped around in some type of webs.

Itsuki cut off all the webs from each of them, before continuing on his way, they would wake up later.

"Caww...hurry...deeper...caww...go assist them" the crow grew anxious as it saw itsuki moving slowly.

"Calm down you damn bird, they won't die so easily" itsuki smiled, but his eyes also twitched as he noticed the sounds of battle not too far away.

Leaping onto a tall tree he was able to pinpoint the direct location of the sound, deep within the forest, near a small water source.

Inosuke and a huge big demon were engaged in a fierce battle.

But even so inosuke was clearly on the losing side, his beast breathing attacks were useless against the demon who had a hardened body.

Itsuki leaped closer and sat down on a branch, after spectating for 5 or so minutes he decided to help out.

"Hey, boar kid, do you need help?" Itsuki shouted with a smile, causing inosuke to get caught off guard and sent flying.

"It's you itsuvooo, yes I need help, join me and let's kill this demon" although inosuke was pissed at itsuki, he knew the demon was more important at this moment.

"You bastard, you still can't get my name right?" Itsuki scratches his head, he was getting used to this mentally disabled kid's behavior too fast.

"Help you?, I can kill it by myself" Itsuki laughed and jumped down, he then slowly unsheathed his snow-white nichirin katana.

"H-hey, this demon isn't something you can kill on your own" Inosuke shouted as he blocked a fist from the huge demon.

"Grahhhhh"

Seeing another enemy appear, the huge muscular and hideous spider demon became even more violent and rushed towards itsuki.

"Why are you running on 4 limbs? Are you a spider or a dog?" Itsuki shook his head, this clumsy demon looked no different from a child to him suddenly.

"Don't cry to me when it's f*cking you up" Inosuke wipes away his blood and shouted as he saw the spider demon change targets.

It's huge body bursting through the ground like a hammer as it shot forward.

"Ice breathing: 1st form....ice flow" itsuki concentrated his breathing as he used ice flow, his white nichirin sword turning even more mystical as it flashed out, like a brilliant light in the night sky.

Puchi!!

The sound of blood spilling rang out sharply, going all the way to the edges of this eerie mountain.

Bang!!

The spider demon's head fell down, it was severed cleanly and it's corpse began turning cold at the speed of light.

"Should I tie this stupid guy here like giyu did?" Itsuki thought deeply as he gazed at the frozen inosuke who had his boar mask on, his loud breathing could now be heard throughout the empty space.

"Follow me, and don't bullshit or I'll have to knock you out and tie you to a tree" itsuki glared at inosuke, knowing his behavior.

Inosuke shivered slightly, his mind flashing back to itsuki slaying that huge spider demon.

"He is even stronger than tanjivoo??" He now started to suspect that the world was truly unfair, some random demon slayer he met only yesterday was already this strong?

Itsuki didn't plan on looking for zenitsu, Shinobu would definitely deal with that, after-all itsuki couldn't deal with poison and he wouldn't even bother trying.

"Help me, let's look for tanjiro and nezuko" itsuki motioned towards inosuke and started walking away, not even giving the beast breathing user time to react.
