Shop & Greet

"This is what you're looking for.", they state.

"Why is it so huge?", I ask, not taking my eyes off the book."

"It has all the symbols you know and don't know."

"How much?", I ask.

"It's for free.", they say as they hand over the book.

"Are you sure?", I ask, switching arms.

"Your princess Ruth, the shy girl who's goal is to make everyone feel welcome.", they whisper.

Eyes widen in surprise for shyly rubbing the back of my neck. Feeling awkward, I turn and speed walk away towards Yuma's sibling. Walking towards them, I stop when I notice a pixie and a stall person fighting, glancing around to see if there was a reason for a pixie to argue.

["Hey!"]

["Jesus! Don't bloody yell.", he snaps.]

["Alright, I won't scream. But do you know what would cause a pixie to pick a fight?"]

["If someone sold their home or destroyed it."]

["Thanks!"]

Looking around the area where they were at to see a home destroyed, sighing, I head towards the arguing people- once there; I place my hands on their shoulders, making them stop arguing and face me.

"Yeah, uh... hi, there seems to be a problem," I state rather uncomfortably.

"This... this... this hooligan destroyed my home!"

"Oh, please."

The animal pixie launches at the stall person, but I quickly step in and hope them back- they continue to thrash against my hold as the stall person taunts them. This continued a few more minutes when I had enough.

"ENOUGH!", I roar.

Everything goes silent as the pixie goes stiff, sighing, knowing I may have caused the pixie harm. I turn them so their faces me to see tears falling down their sunny skin, placing my finger under a tear and wiping it away. Smiling softly, I reach for their home and place on the table before turning my attention towards the stall person to see it's the same person who told me not to go to the stall I needed to go to. Smirking when they realize who I am.

"Hello again," I state.

"What are you doing here?" they demanded.

"Well, I'm here because you destroy this young pixie's home.", I state.

"Maybe if they-"

"Yeah, no.", I interrupt them.

"Why-"

"Fix it or else.", I growl.

"What-"

Glaring at them, as they flinch back before nodding their head and grabbing the house; turning towards the pixie and give then a smile, then heading back to Yuma's sibling once again. Taking a breath, I take their shoulder and as they turn to speak.

"YourYuma'ssibling?"

"I'm sorry, what?"

Eyes widen in surprise before placing my hand on my chest while taking a deep breath in and out, and with that, I speak.

"Your Yuma's sibling."

"Yeah, how do you know my sister?", they ask.

"I know her because I know who's she dating.", I state.

"Prove it."

Sighing, I lean towards their ear-

"Your sister is Yuma, who is dating the prince of Tevelia, Cody Wolfire."

They blink and nod their head before moving away from me, and then they introduce themselves- "I'm Ezra."

"Ruth.", I say before diving into another conversation.

"Are you heading to the kingdom?"

"Yeah, I'm heading there, but I don't know where I'm supposed to, though.", he says.

["Yo, pain in the ass!"]

["What did I say about fucking yelling?"]

["Not to but that's besides the point."]

["What do you want?"]

["I've found Yuma's brother, but he doesn't know where he's supposed to meet you guys."]

["Bring him to the training ground."]

"He said you guys will meet at the training ground.", I state.

"How did you find that out?", he asks.

"Oh... well this just got complicated.", I mumbled.

"Are you going to tell me?", they ask as they catch up to me.

Biting my lip, I continue to walk until we're far away from the stall before Ezra could ask again. I interrupt him.

"It's a little complicated."

"Why?"

"Because of who I am.", I state, not slowing down.

"That makes little sense.", he states.

"You'll know when we see Cody.", I reply.

"Don't you mean prince Cody?", he asks.

"Yeah... no. I said what I said.", I respond.
