Dein cleared her throat before speaking again. She didn't want to assume and thought maybe there's some misunderstanding.
"What do you mean by tha-that, about what you said?" Dein mentally smacked herself for stuttering. Why does she feel so embarrassed? She's feeling so stupid.
"I meant what I said." he said casually and directly.
"Then what about the revenge, how do you know about it?" Dein asked.
"I just assumed." Dein blinked.
'What does he mean he just assumed?!' Dein thought.
"Yo-You just assumed?" Lucas nodded.
Dein released a sigh "You're not making any sense, I'll go back to work. I don't care now even if you know about my revenge." She cassually said because Dein thought he will just assume that the revenge is not really important to her. So, the man won't use it against her because it held no significance.
Dein started to walk away to leave the room but before she could open the door. Lucas grabbed her hand, she pulled her and held her small waist.
"Wha! What do you think you're doing?!" Dein exclaimed in surprise and immediately wriggled from her embrace.
"I want you"
He felt his breath on her neck and the whisper suddenly made Dein's whole body stiff.
Dein didn't react. She wasn't flustered nor anything.
"Let go of me now." Dein said coldly and glared at Lucas.
"No" Lucas insisted and held her waist tighter.
"Let go or I'll beat you up. Don't take me so lightly, you must have forgotten what my work is." Dein threatened and glared at him.ß
"I don't care." he still insisted and shook his head.
Dein sighed and thought he's being childish.
"Okay then. Why do you 'want' me?" Dein asked, emphasizing the word.
"I don't know."
Dein's jaw almost dropped.
"Are you serious?!" Dein exclaimed. Dein tried to regain her calmness again. Her blood is boiling because of this man.
"I'm leaving, let go of me." Dein said calmly but Lucas still tightened his hold.
"No, don't leave."
"Then what the heck do you want me to do?!" Dein exclaimed.
"Let's go eat outside, it's already lunch."
Dein screamed in her mind in frustration. This guy is unbelievable!
"Fine! But after this, leave me alone and don't ever get close to me, deal?" Dein warned.
"Do you hate me?" Lucas asked.
"Of course! You're acting like a psycho! And heck! You even investigated me! You're such a- Argh!!" Dein shouted with so much frustration and annoyance.
Lucas didn't say anything.
Dein suddenly felt guilty when Lucas became silent.
"Well, what I mean is. What you're doing is creepy so anyone wouldn't like that." Dein tried to explain.
"Creepy?" Lucas asked.
Dein nodded "Investigating someone without their consent isn't something a person should do, most people who does that are called stalkers and they can be punished by law because of that." Dein explained in one breath.
'Why do I feel like I'm explaining to a child?' Dein thought and almost scratched her head.
"Sorry, I won't do it again." Dein was taken back at his sudden apology. She didn't expect that, he thought he might be too arrogant to say sorry.
"It-It's okay." Dein stammered awkwardly.
"About what you said that you want me, answer me. Do you like me? Is this why you're doing all of these?" Dein asked seriously. She's a straightforward person and she wants clear reasons behind Lucas' actions.
"Like..?" Lucas questioned.
Dein's jaw almost dropped.
'He doesn't know what like is?! What the heck is wrong with this man?!' Dein screamed in her thoughts.
"Like is when you feel attracted to a person." Dein just explained and sighed.
"I'm attracted to you, does this mean I like you?" Dein almost collapsed.
'He's too innocent!!' Dein screamed in her mind.

After Dein almost lost her mind on her conversation with Lucas. She Tried to convince the man to leave and fortunately he left.
Dein sighed as she brought the spoon to her mouth. Dein is currently eating at a restaurant with Hera and Hera can see that something is wrong.
"Did something happen?" Hera asked seeing Dein looking as if frustrated and empty.
"Not really." Dein doesn't know but she felt like she still don't want to reveal Lucas to Hera.
"You've been sighing like every single minute, you know? I'm starting to think you're hiding something to me." Hera said and squinted her eyes to her to Dein.
"What? Of course not." Dein lied. Dein just felt so disturbed about lucas. Also, other than she still haven't fully trusted Hera. She also wants to confirm everything about Lucas before making anything.
"Anyways, do you know something about the famous CEO Lucas Carlton. Everybody has been talking about him." Dein said.
"Not really, just search it on the internet. All I know is that he is like the most famous and richest person right now in this country." Hera said.
Dein grabbed her phone and searched Lucas' name and there are like thousands of results.
Dein read about him and found out Lucas is not only the owner of the Hotel near then but he also owns airlines and other businesses. Dein's eyes almost went out of their sockets. She can't believe that the person who said he likes her is a freaking multi-billionaire!!
"Why are you curious about him?" Hera asked confused because Dein had never asked a guy about their favourite family.
Dein shook her head and put his phone back on her pockets.
"Not really, I thought he's someone great or anything." Dein said but her mind is screaming so wildly. Those information are too overwhelming, I can't believe that someone like him would actually say something like that to her and even approach her.
"What...? Dein he's the richest person here in our country and our country is like one of the widest places on earth, and he's still not great to you?! Oh my gosh!" Hera said exaggerated and even made hand gesture.
Dein just acted bored and didn't react. Pretending to look cool upon the information so Hera won't have get suspicious. Hera shook her head at her non-reaction as if she felt defeated.
'Of course I know! He's even richer than the president and he just said he freaking likes me just a while ago!' Dein screamed in her mind wildly.
